Greatly appreciate our first experience today w/ Valley of the Moon Vet Hospital. They took my pup in today two hours after I called about her illness, we did not have a vet here in Sonoma yet and they were so kind & helpful.Fairly priced and nice staff too, plus my girl loved the tech and vet both.

We have been taking my dog here since he was a puppy and have always had great experiences. They make every effort to get him in even if there is a busy schedule, and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and responsive via email. Dr. Schwab once diagnosed a foxtail from an email I sent her when I was across the country! I highly recommend.

Terrible, they are never available if you have an emergency, and they up charge you for unneeded testing. They are also not on the cutting edge of medicine for senior animals. Very incompetent front desk that does not know how to keep track of charts or read them.

I can't recommend the Dr.'s and staff here highly enough! They are so good to our dog, they treat him as if he were their own. Some of the staff have been there since he was a puppy, and recognize him and come running to pet him and love on him the minute we walk in the door. He is 10 now, almost 11 and is in such good shape, thanks to their care and advice.The Dr. will call you back to check on your pet after any surgical treatment. They genuinely care about your pet, and it shows! We won't ever entrust our dogs care to any one else. We made that mistake once, with tragic results. Never again!This is an all female practice, which I like. It's a very nurturing environment.

Dr. Ashely Atkins and the staff at VOM showed my family and dog, Jack extraordinary care when we brought Jack in while traveling through Sonoma. They helped us make an incredibly difficult decision for our sick pup, and guided us through the process with compassion and professionalism. I will always be thankful.

This morning we needed a cateter removed, and the person on staff refused to help. I don’t know her name but she was totally inflexible, not even allowing us to wait for a technician. As a result, we had to drive 2 hours (both ways) to the nearest VCA. It took them about 2 minutes to remove it. This was a terrible experience and I would leave a one star review, however they have done a really good job on a teeth cleaning (Dr. Deanna Schwab), which we absolutely recommend and it felt like a 5 star experience. Therefore I am are leaving this 3 star review, hoping they will review this issue and address it.

Dr. Atkins is a fantastic Vet and you can tell that she cares. The parking lot is pretty small though and hard to get in/out of, give yourself some time so you aren't late for your appointment!

Very helpful staff, clean lobby and examination rooms, with knowledgeable Vet doctors. My dog was treated kindly, questions were answered and felt respected as a client. Will be going back for other examinations.

Went here to get some x-rays for me dog's front leg, no anesthesia needed, and they charged me through the nose for office visit, dog care, and x-rays....I've been to my fair share of Vet's and this has to be the most expensive vet visit I've ever seen BY FAR.....don't recommend this place unless you enjoy overpriced vet visits.
