This little place offers a collection of wines, olive oils, gifts, snacks and sandwiches, you can get coffee and pastry, sit by the window and enjoy a little time for yourself, you can order glass of wine from one of the Sonoma’ gorgeous vineyards and chat with friendly people. It is fun, eclectic, cheerful shop!

Great Mercantile Store with a Wine Store & sommelier on one side and a grab and go with hot food available on the other. Also, coffee with Café treats! Not to mention the 4 Cottages behind! We stayed in Cottage 1 with the yellow door. It was a small home with a double bed in one room downstairs and two twin beds upstairs. The only bathroom is large and offers a single shower. The kitchen is large and is well equipped with a coffee maker, kettle and everything you need to make a nice cupper! (Individual Coffee creamers in the fridge).Fantastic stay, would come again!

This proprety is broken into 2 parts: a little market for grocery, wine and cafe, they're also a deli that sales delicious sandwiches. I recommend the bacon grilled cheese and/or the pastrami with gruyère cheese. The other part of the proprety has 4 nice cottages, really nice, comfortable and clean, perfect for a weekend gateway.

We had a delicious lunch and an amazing wine tasting in the backyard garden. Everything was amazing and special thanks to Casey for being the best host and recommending great wines! Definitely a highlight of our Sonoma visit

Such a great place to grab a glass of wine, a great sandwich (bacon grilled cheese was amazing), and relax in the garden. I definitely recommend!

This is a nice spot for morning coffee and very relaxing for lunch. The patio out back is delightful on a sunny day. Service is excellent and the array of deli sandwiches, salads are delicious, as are the pastries. I had the Sonoma Cubano Panini with a London Fog tea. Sonoma Best’s original version of Earl Gray, very yummy! I saved room for a pastry. I had the pumpkin scone bar, outstanding! Sonoma Best also has lots of little food items and culinary odds and ends that are clever gift ideas. Definitely a place to bring out of town visitors.

Cute little convenience store on the way into town with a full wine bar/store, eatery, and small items. Stopped in to grab some sparkling to start our day of vineyard tours! Good stuff.

We stopped here during our self guided hike tour & the customer service was amazing! My favourite part was the wine tasting at the tasting bar which was just $10 for 5 different wines! I also loved my salted caramel with nuts ice cream. Very rich & appropriate after a long bike ride. The only downside was my spinach ravioli. There was barely any seasoning or flavouring. We went here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t even packed. Made it the perfect pit stop. We ended up covering it in pepper to make it taste better. Other than the ravioli, everything was great!

A cute little deli/market whose defining characteristics are great espresso from Flying Goat Coffee and a wine tasting bar/shop with a curated selection of imported wine that you won't find anywhere else in Sonoma. It's slightly off of the beaten path, and a great stop on the way to wineries in the northeast part of town.

The wine shop is my absolute "go-to" source for wine and champagne from across the world. Todd is both responsive and resourceful at getting the bottles you need for your party or collection at fantastic prices. After so many year of having to call multiple places with a request, it's been a joy to finally have Todd and Sonoma's Best in my address book.

Popped in for a unplanned wine tasting and was very pleasantly surprised. The host Casey was super personable and made great recommendations. They carry some great small production wines.

We came across Sonoma’s Beat pretty randomly and so glad we did. Initially we were looking for a coffee and a snack but ended up staying for a wine tasting with the terrific Casey. What a great experience, with his enthusiasm and personal collection of favorite wines. It’s really great when someone enjoys their job so much and makes the whole experience fun. Casey thank you - I’m sure you’ll go on yo great things. I should also mention that the coffee was the best espresso we found in the area, primarily due to the same guy taking time to truly calibrate his machine and brew.

The offerings of this store are awesome, the coffee is top notch. The wine shop has a great selection of local wines. Everytime I go there they have a great selection of gifts & unique items. I love the greeting cards they have as well, very dry humor. The last time I was getting coffee, the young lady making my coffee was so friendly & genuine her name was Hannah. Another great thing to get there are their sandwiches & a great drink selection. I can't wait to see what they have on my next visit...❤❤❤❤

What a great place! We were visiting Sonoma for only a couple of days and were unable to visit the one main winery we wanted to visit - Bluefarm. When we realized visiting the winery wasn’t possible, the owner told us that her wines could be purchased at retail at Sonoma’s Best. We looked it up and found - what we feel, is - the best kept secret in Sonoma. We walked inthe door to see a friendly group of locals drinking wine, and were warmly welcomed by Todd. He showed us around a bit and poured us a couple of glasses. We absolutely loved the vibe there and ended up buying a case of Bluefarm to take home with us (it’s not available in Oklahoma where we live). Their wine selection outside of Bluefarm was exemplary. Tons of really cool stuff. We will definitely be back to Sonoma’s best every time we visit the area.

The food was really good. There is a patio in the back. The person working the deli counter was curt with us, but they probably just had a lot of people to deal with.

Local gem! This place is everything great about a local wine shop, with an awesome deli as a bonus! Todd, the manager and Somm, has curated a really interesting and thoughtful selection of wines from around the world, and he can point you to something sure to meet your needs, taste, and price point. And if you're looking for a locally-themed gift, the little shop area has something for everyone!

Discovered this local hot spot last year. We enjoyed the wine tasting so much that we joined the wine club. We stopped by yesterday with some friends and met Todd the owner. He is a super nice guy and his staff are always so friendly.

We prefer Sonoma’s Best Wine Club to any single vineyard because of the amazing selection of thoughtfully-curated local and international wines. The tasting room is more like a bar (you can get a full pour versus tiny taste) with friendly, laid-back atmosphere filled with fun, interesting locals. The adjacent cafe is also delicious. All of the staff is great—shout out to Todd, Myron, and Joanne for always making us feel welcome.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in cottage number four. The cottage is very comfortable. Bed was comfy. Excellent kitchenette and some nice goodies to welcome you. The place is well located near Sonoma. We'd definitely recommend it.

Used to like the hotdogs, and Reuben sandwich. At one time, used best tasting prime ingredients. As of June 2022 (last visit)...no more. Dogs are hebrew Natl from Safeway...Reuben sandwich Pastrami was dry and tasteless...probably Boars Head (Safeway Brand). Go to Nugget Market instead...

Girl preparing our deli lunches wasn’t wearing a mask. She said it was up to them if they wanted to wear them or not, and that seemed odd. We like their sandwiches, salads, cappuccinos, cheese and wine-in-a-pinch selection.
