Love My Pal! What a wonderful, necessary pet-centric business the Sonoma community is truly lucky to have! The owner is so kind and professional and the nail trims are always just perfect. It’s great to just pop in (or make an appointment) for convenience. Grooming services are also wonderful as are the flea or oatmeal baths. They always take such kind, loving care of our fur family. Plus its such a convenient and easily accessible location and always clean and stocked with toys and cool treats, too! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 5-stars***** for sure. GO!

I first walked in and they weren’t very nice to begin with. I asked for something simple. A short trim for my dog and to frame his face. That was it. My boyfriend picked him up and he was disappointed already and as soon as I saw my dog I understand why. Half his hair was cut and they cut off so much off his face. I’m not one to write bad reviews but I’m never going here again.

Witnessed the main groomer being cruel. Do not recommend taking your dogs. I’m very concerned about what I witnessed at this business. When we picked up our dog/ “Pal”, the woman who greeted me behaved in an unexpected way while helping me pay and pick up our dog.One of the dogs in the open pen (holds several dogs and sits near the check out counter ) was barking quite a bit.The Groomer had a leash in her hand and swung it around quickly in the direction of the barking dog - it did not hit the dog - that I could see -but the leash also seems to graze the coworkers face - as she made a small sound and put her hand to her cheek) !I’m ashamed. I was in shock and did nothing. I am saddened to see this as I wonder what happens when a customer is NOT watching? Clearly there will be MORE barking dogs as they are, in fact dogs and it’s what they do. I don’t want any dogs to be treated this way. Let alone the employee !No longer a customer.

I hate to ever write a bad review, but seriously.... unbelievable!! If I can spare one sweet animal the pain then this is worth it. I took my Boxer here on a whim, they have been here in business forever, and thought I would take a chance.... first of all, the woman who runs the place has a ton of little dogs (her own) caged up in there ALL DAY! Also, she is WAYYYYYY over priced!! I counted at least 6, yappy, loud barking dogs... it was one of those moments when something just didn't feel right and you should turn and run... wish I had listened to my gut. My poor Boxer was absolutely shaking terribly w/ fear when I picked him up, ears down, tail (nub) between his legs :( He stunk!! His fur was not nicely cleaned and brushed. Clearly not cleaned well, she absolutely BUTCHERED his toe nails...cut down to the quik and several were bleeding or had dried blood on them. I kid you not, they were so jagged they actually tore my seat cushion! It looked like she took a chainsaw to them.. I don't know what she did to him, but after reading these other reviews, and knowing my experience... please spare your pup the emotional trauma... DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE.

$15 for a nail trim. Took my dog there for the first time and they didn’t take the time to greet neither of us. The nail trim could have been done better, I feel like it was too rushed.
