Horrible customer service. Have been shopping here for 15-20 years now, and while it's not the greatest grocery store, I've never had any real problems until today.I was checking out with probably a month worth of groceries (a lot), and they didn't notify me until after everything was scanned and paid for that they were out of bags and couldn't pack up my food. I asked if they had any produce trays or bins they could put my groceries in instead like they do at Costco. The checker lady then met me with an extremely aggressive tone saying "Well we aren't Costco, what do you want us to do about that," while her coworker, an older gentleman, replied "Yeah, we've been dealing with it all day, what do you want us to do about it?" The only other option was to spend $5 a bag for their reusable bags which I would've needed probably 6 of.Eventually the lady went into the back and got a cardboard produce tray I could use, and when she brought it back, she slammed it on the counter then stormed off leaving me to pack up everything by myself.Will shop at Safeway from here on out. Don't go here if you're elderly or need any help with your shopping.

This Lucky Supermarket at Maxwell Shopping Center on the East side of Somoma is convenient and service is always excellent! I was looking for pasta sauce and almost as soon as I walked in the door, staff was there to help. Much appreciated!

I shopped here on the weekend and the meat and seafood case looked phenomenal,everything looked nice,full,and fresh,and they actually had quite a selection to choose from,great job ,the deli department looked pretty good and produce was nice ,I hope they keep up the good work

They usually have whatever I'm looking for and at fair prices too. From the parking lot to the entrance and aisles to the restrooms they are wheelchair accessible as well as friendly. The service is always attentive and time efficient. Great sales too.

Hello All!...For Your Information, I had the displeasure of dealing with Checker DOLORES last night 07/29/23. I was grabbing some of the change that was leftover in the automatic change dispensing tray when she swiped my hand away and said that's not your money! I was shocked at that! I said o I'm sorry so whose money is it? She just got louder and more rude saying the same thing. She finally said this money belongs to the company! I was shocked with her response as it clearly did not. She then started yelling at me and berating me in front of my daughter! I asked her for her name and at first it sounded like something else, hard to pronounce and then she said, "why you want my name" I said I'd like to know who I'm doing business with. Then berating and belittling continued as she spelled out the name DOLORES in a very demeaning way, talking to me as if I was a child! I believe that this woman had been rude to us before! So, I guess D-O-L-O-R-E-S STRUCK AGAIN! I really hope that something is done about her SERIOUS attitude problem because yelling at your customers is NEVER the right and appropriate thing to do! It was especially embarrassing because i had my 15 year old daughter with me and you want unfortunate moments like these to be an opportunity to teach your kids how to act and what, if anything, to do but I kinda froze! But we did speak about it afterwards and that is a big reason that I believe I should follow up with corporate just so they are aware as well and just so they have a written complaint on file in case they need it to establish a pattern which I can clearly see. Yes the store is good and I’m a regular shopper I have seen this lady that works there and every time I see her is it’s not a good vibe. Her name starts with G that’s all cuz I couldn’t see her name very well but In me personally, i have had a bad service there.

Blonde grandma gets mad when asked for help at the self check out. Ignored me with attitude making some grunt walking to another computer 10 feet away and then goes into the break room. Another employee came out of the breakroom a while later so I ask them. They didn't make a fuss about it and did their job. Which was to put in a code to remove an item. Back breaking I know.Also followed buy some guy on the heftier side when we made eye contact as I was heading out of an isle. He waits for me and follows me into the next Isle I go in, playing with the merch as if doing something. Mean while giving me glances. I don't like bring race into things but I'm pretty sure It was that or like others have said might have though I was a teenage cause of my backpack. Either way It was uncomfortable and made me feel like a criminal. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Great improvements in the last year or so. Lines are not anywhere near as bad. Still room for improvement, there is only one manager that I see willing to do everything in the store. She has dark hair, usually works evenings, and is always pleasant with a smile.Quick and easy no more. I might be done shopping at this location. Always understaffed with piss poor customer service. The blonde lady manager is rude and always seems angry. Tonight, I went in for a couple of items. Was getting beer so I couldn't use the self check out. There were at least 16 people in line and only 2 cashiers. No manager in sight. You really need to do some serious staffing changes at this location. I ended up walking out without making a purchase and went to Safeway. It took a fraction of the time. They had 4 lanes open and no more than 2 people in each line. Was so much faster and with much better customer service.Original reviewGenerally quick and easy. Always clean with decent selection. Overall one of the better lucky's I've been in.

Most staff is friendly. Great selection. Wish they stayed open later. They shortened hours when the pandemic started. So if it is after 10pm you need to go to Safeway

I'm not a review guy however, what was once a pleasant shopping experience has gone to the pits. Apparently, the new store policy (according to an overworked employee) is only 2 checkout lines open. (No matter how long the lines.) Many of the elderly folks stand hunched over their carts waiting. Customer Service desk? Forget about it, you're on your own. Lucky? Not so much anymore. You can do better.

No workers here want to help you and very rude employees. Blond lady work at self check out is rude and told me I couldn't do self check out because I have to many items and was directed to the 1 cashier and 5 peoples in that line. Wow. Don't shop lucky in Sonoma, CA

I will change my review to five stars if the store manager promises to play something other than country music for at least a small portion of the day. If I have to spend another hour of shopping listening to songs about dirt roads and “being proud of my small town” I’m going to gouge out my eardrums in the middle of your store.

Very courteous, friendly checkers and deli workers. Pretty good organic vegetable selection. Rotisserie chicken was surprisingly moist but a little salty. I couldn't find Clover organic blueberry kefir for my client today.

Visiting Lucky was nostalgic because they had locations in SoCal. I finally visited today and it’s was clean, not crowded, filled with fresh baked goods and organic produce selection. I’m shopping here from now on.Local ✅B corporation products ✅Friendly staff ✅Delicious muffins ✅

The selves were 1/2 filled. No paper goods. I was able to get some expensive water, organic vegetables and pork ribs. The staff were kind and appreciate the thank you I gave them for working during this difficult time. The workers are the best!

I am a teenager and went into luckys to get some food with friends. We decided there wasn't anything we wanted to we left. A few minutes later we came back inside because I wanted a drink. When I came back two woman employees were watching and whispering about. Me friend heard them accuse me of coming and leaving about 4 times even though it was only once. After a minute or so looking for a drink one of the woman started following me. I walked around and they kept following me where ever I went. I finally went to pay and one of them was looking right over my shoulder very near me. My friend asked if there was something wrong and they said no. They then talked in a very sassy way asking us if there was anything wrong. They very clearly thought we were stealing so when I asked there was no reason for them to lie about why we were stealing. When I was putting my drink in my backpack they went behind me to sneakily look inside. When they saw there was nothing there acted like nothing happened and walked away to gossip about me more. When I left they pulled my friend over and talked to him about how they have the right to search our bags, as if they asked before and we didn't let them. This is one of the many times in that places, especially Luckys, where I have been followed around by employees because of my age. I have been with adults and walked and then cake back and they didn't care at all. There are many videos of similar incidents like this of employees following teens around. When they do this I feel very stressed even though I know I did nothing wrong. They should tell the truth that they believe I'm stealing and would like to search my bag, which I would gladly let them. The customer service there is terrible and I wish I had taken a video or at least remembered their names. Warning that if you go there don't expect great customer service.

I have ONLY one complaint about this store. It's the substitute manager. He's a very big man who thinks he owns the store, carries around dust feathers in his back pocket & is suspicious about everything & everyone! But aside from him the rest are the BEST in the grocery world! We love Tim, Genie, Chris, & Marina!!! We go in sometimes just to say"hi". As well as sometimes 1 or 2 of them may even come out to the car to say hi to me since my lovely daughter does most of the running(I'm disabled)for our major grocery items. I'm very "LUCKY" and grateful for our Sonoma Lucky's Store! P.S. One guy that really makes our shopping sooo much easier is Chris F.~he's a bagger and a cart man & whatever else they want him to do. But he is SO nice and sweet! He helps us with just about anything we ask. Packs our Jeep just right to make it home with my crazy driving trying to avoid potholes. They make it every time. Hope he gets a promotion~he deserves it. Smile on his face always even though his parents are having health issues. What a guy! We adore Chris F.🤗

I Went I’m with my friends to buy some snacks, we are all kids and teenagers. We left to see if there were different snacks in the neighboring store Rite aid, but then returned to Luckys afterwards. But when we returned the stores employees came and stood next to me and one of my friends, and proceeded to follow us to the self check out. The environment of this store was very unwelcoming and I felt like a was being treated as if I was a criminal. As I left the store they warned me not to come in again or they would have to search me. Being someone who has started to be going out by myself, I don’t like being treated like a criminal, it gives me anxiety and definitely makes me uncomfortable.

Store has no WiFi, made my groceries list using Lucky's website but couldn't access it in the store, Manger couldn't help me, she didn't know anything about using WiFi she writes her list on paper. Was very frustrating and got only a few items, couldn't recall what I had on my listI don't have any problem at Safeway.

I went there late at night to take advantage of a few Organic items that were on sale plus B&J Ice Cream that was1/2 off.It had been hot & I couldn't eat much ,but wanted something cold ...if they had Clover's Organic Kefir I would have gotten that but they didn't. I rarely go to Lucky because, in general the quality of their food isn't the best. I really buy primarily Organic products as "conventional" are full of pesticides or in meat products come from big agrifarms where living conditions of animals is deplorable.

Not a single employee wearing a face mask. No one to help at self check out. And the machines over charging people (guy next to me was trying to get help, the machine charged him $14 for three potatoes, no one helped or would void the issue) avoid this place if you want to stay healthy.

I really dont have alot to say about them except why is there food prices are so dam high.people have to spend hard earn monie just to keep their family fed.people just want to be treated fair. The stores could have some compasion for people just trying to feed their familys
