Absolutely phenomenal dog boarding experience! We were gone for 24 days out of the country and our German Shepard received the best care here! Very good with updates and communication from the team! We live in the Bay Area and the drive is worth it for this exceptional care and experience! This is a doggy paradise resort with the amazing facility they have! I recently started taking my anxious dog to Clos du Paws Doggy Daycare and have been thoroughly impressed. The staff's laidback and flexible approach was a relief. It's clear my dog enjoys his time there, showing significant improvement in his anxiety. We've also adopted another dog and are excited to introduce her to this wonderful daycare. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a caring environment for their furry friends.

Our dog absolutely loves Clos du Paws! She gets so excited every time we arrive and enjoys playing with the other dogs in the beautiful open and fenced spaces here. Owners Katie and Howie are wonderful and we feel great leaving our pup in their hands for both day and overnight stays. Highly recommend for any dog owners in Sonoma!

I am so glad to have found Clos du Paws! We bring our giant rescue dog here for weekly daycare and it is definitely her favorite day of the week. Stella jumps right in, runs around with her friends, and comes home happily exhausted.We also use CdP for boarding. We went away for a week and I never once worried about Stella. Katie & Howie and team are clearly dog lovers and treat each dog as they would their own.

We brought our girl here for a 10+ day stay while we went away for the first time in a long time. She's a big dog who doesn't mind other dogs but would rather hang out than play. We knew we wanted something open and comfortable for her while we were away. She did a great job and Katie sent us updates often, including pictures! We always felt she was safe and even having fun. We will come back to clos du paws whenever we need them! They were amazing and we highly recommend.

I am so grateful that I have found Katie and Howie’s dog care. These folks absolutely love dogs! They have a huge outdoor space for the dogs to play and it is super safe. My dog is always so excited to go spend his time there and he comes homes so tired which is a wonderful treat for me. Clos du Paws is an absolute treasure for Sonoma and for folks with pups or dogs.

Katie takes such good care of my miniature dachshund! I was honest with her about his rough transition to life in California (so many intact dogs). She said to bring him by for a trial to see how he would do, and he had a blast - even with the big dogs!I’m so grateful to have a safe place to send him! There are areas to separate the dogs, if needed, and when he’s tired and just wants to cuddle with a human, he hangs out in her lap. I’m may be traveling soon and will definitely be driving both him and my 13 year old miniature dachshund all the way to Clos du Paws from Incline Village because I trust her to take the best care of both of them!

Being new to the area and having two Bernese Mtn dogs I struggled finding a boarding facility I was comfortable with. I feel so fortunate to have found Clos du Paws. The owners, Katie & Howie, are the most lovely, kind, accommodating , animal lovers. Clos du Paws is amazing. We have taken our English Springer Spaniel, Jasper, there for about four months now and we thrilled with Katie and Howie and how they are with our dog and we see the same with all of the other dogs. It is a great facility and they love the dogs and it shows. Jasper comes home exhausted, safe and healthy and excited to go back. Highly recommend CdP!

Clos du Paws is such an amazing doggie boarding service. Katie is so attentive and her love for the animals is so obvious. I love how it’s cage-free, the dogs sleep comfortably indoors, and it’s on such a big, beautiful property with a fenced dog corral and plenty of room for the doggies to run and play. I’d recommend anyone to this place looking to board their dog in the Sonoma area. Thanks for your hospitality Katie!

We have been taking our 2 dogs, 1 terrier, Ned, and 1 labrador, Luna, to Clos du Paws for several months. Luna is very sensitive, a little anti social with other dogs and cannot be separated from Ned. So, kenneling has not been an option for us, until now! Not only does Clos du Paws have simply gorgeous accommodation for the dogs - they can choose to sleep in the guest house or family room - but plenty of open spaces and areas for the dogs to play in. In particular, Katie always makes sure Luna is comfortable and truly, this is the only time I have ever seen Luna excited to be left - she literally jumps out of the car in order to bound into Katie's (or rather Howie, Katie's husband's) arms. I also really like that they limit how many dogs stay over so my pups are not overwhelmed or lost in the shuffle. Katie is always very responsive to texts and flexible with our drop-offs. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Clos du Paws for providing a safe and secure environment with plenty of freedom, exercise, and love.

An absolute gem of a dog retreat! So happy to have found Katie and Clos du Paws, with their beautiful expanse of fenced land and bucolic front porch, just made for doggie relaxation and play. I also love that dogs are not crated for “naps”, and allowed to settle in their own time and space when they need it. Feels safe and well-organized, definitely recommend!

Wow- what an incredible experience. We dropped off our two Labrador Retrievers with Katie for a week and she was so kind and gentle with our boys! The property was clean and spacious and I think our pets may have actually had a nicer vacation than we did. Really happy to have found this boarding option that doesn't use and cages. I'd give 100 stars if I could!

If you want to know that your dog is being cared for just like you would be caring for him, let Katie and her family of dog lovers care for him! The atmosphere of peace and calmness brings out the best in the dogs. The estate is like a paradise! Katie is patient with every dog and spends a lot of energy making sure they are comfortable, well-fed and hydrated, and entertained. It's like taking your dog to his favorite aunt's house!

Our lab has been coming for daycare twice a week for a couple months. He is always excited to arrive and well exercised when we pick him up. The grounds are really nice and the people are very attentive. We’re happy to have this wonderful facility nearby.
