Spent a day at the lake. Got there fairly early so we can avoid the crowds and get a good spot. Bathrooms are clean. Lake had a lil bit of trash (we cleaned up) please pack out what you bring in. It was nice and peaceful having privacy for a good amount of the day. It definitely starts to get packed later on in the day so we packed up.

Just stayed here in July. HOT HOT HOT...103, 102...not the campsites fault. Stayed in the RV section full hooks ups. No problems. A few sites blasted there music for parts of the day and one group was loud till 11 pm. Overall nice clean sites. DO NOT BRING YOUR BIKES, Goat thorns everywhere, almost all bikes got flats.

Weekday trip. Nice and quiet... Kinda weird, we had reserved spot someone thought it was ok to take it because they liked it better than their spot. Well we did let them keep it and took theirs. If the other wasn't comparable we wouldn't of agreed. Although I thought they were rude for hooking up their water to the spigot (these are community spigots) they did put an adapter on it so there's a way for others to get water. But supposed the next person does the same. No way to hook up another adapter.. so no water for the rest of the nearby sites. If you want full hookups get one of those sites, plenty available..Bathrooms were good as we're showers. Clean, but campground was practically empty. They do need to put some trash containers around loops. The only trash was a ways away at bathrooms.Lake was full.

This place is very peaceful, family orientated. Do not have to worry about jet ski or fast-moving vessels . could take your row boat canoe or kayak and enjoy a summer event at this place. Camping sites are clean. Restrooms are clean. Dogs are on leash , the best part... I get my season pass every year, I don't have to worry about long lines.

Loved it. Huge sites, full hookups, fish and water sports, full lake. Had a great time and can't wait to come back. Only issue, the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired - bring lysol wipes and purell.

This place is so much fun! Absolutely awesome for the entire family. Very safe place, with tons of staff walking around and checking in on people. They have a shop with food, drinks, squirt guns, beers,ect. Splash n Dash water park was AWESOME! Myself, the wife, and kiddos all had a blast! Tons of seating options, gazebos,ect. They even have a food truck, ice cream truck, and live DJ on the weekends. Very reasonably priced for all you get as well. Just keep in mind that the water is COLD for the first few months of summer as a good portion of the lake is all snow melt. We will definitely be returning in the future

This has always been our families go to lakes. We love that the lake is 10 mph zone. We have taught both our boys how to kayak on the lake and will teach our daughter, nieces and nephews one day as well. The lake is family friendly and the rangers are great.

This is awesome for kids! A great lake that does not get to many visitors, so it does not crowded. $8 all day pass but $24 an hour to bounce or $38 a day pass. We had a blast renting a paddle board and the paddle boat. The other option would have been a kayak to rent.

We love this place after the summer crowds taper off. By October you can enjoy the trout fishing both from the bank or a boat. The handicap fishing pier is a great place for those in wheelchairs or for young children.. The river up to lake McClure offer excellent fishing opportunities. Camping facilities are above average and are usually full when the weather is nice.

Beautiful, especially at sunset. It is one of the best fishing places. They have Shed with Pinic table and bbq grill, play ground for kids, beach, splash and dash activities, marina where you can rent kayak, etc., mini store with hot foods, beers, ice, ice cream, bait, fishing supplies, etc.... Very clean maintained. Big area for weddy event, family gathering events, special events, etc. They also have RV camping site far n near the water. So much to say... but i love this place. It make good memories of childhood, family, and friends. Perfect spot just by myself when I need a get away and lonely time.Playground: SafeRestrooms: CleanPicnic area: Clean

Great place for families, i have been coming here since i was a kid and the bathrooms always clean. They don't allow high power boats or jet skies, so it is great for fishing & kayaking. Plus they have rentals. The marina is always really nice to there customers

Very clean, nice workers, fishing is not to bad. Just watch for rattlesnakes in the last spring and summer mornings. Been going there for about 20 years or so.

This place is really beautiful. Campgrounds are clean and well sized. Rangers were always on patrol. And the water is clean, clear, and perfect temperature 💚

My sister and I had a great day we actually caught some fish. And while waiting for them to bite we always pick up other people's trash to throw away. It's a beautiful lake so let's keep it clean for everyone to enjoy.

Great place to camp! Many spots are close enough to the water allowing you access to fish off the bank or launch your canoe or kayak with little troubles. Not to crowded even during the summer season, definitely a fantastic family place for a relaxing and peaceful camping experience!

Staff is friendly and helpful specifically if your friendly to them. Boating, hiking, camping, cabins, swimming, playground, and fishing. Beautiful full grown trees. Lots of parking. A fun weekend awaits.

This is the best camping spot! Lots of trees, beautiful lake, spacious campsites w gazebos and bbq pits and electricity. The bathrooms are clean and this location is not very crowded. Everyone is respectful. I've gone 3 years in a row and love it more and more. There are also huge water slides and play area for your little ones. You can rent paddle boats, canoes etc. The campsite is also affordable.
