This park is a nice park first time I have ever been to this park it has plenty of bathrooms it has a river u can play in when the weather is good I sure if u have a fishing license u could fish alot of grassy area for games picnicking we used this park for sunrise service on Easter and it was amazing but u should beware of Mosquitos you are outdoors don't forget your bug spray for sure it's a really big park and lots of picnic tables and bbqs to use I recommend this park definitely

This park for family fun. This place has a variety of fun things to do.. The playground is great for kids. What an amazing park right next to Merced River but be careful the water is flowing fast so please do not attempt to swim in it! Big beautiful park though with nobody there!

My Aunt June rented the hall for my Uncle Ed's celebration of life. This is the second time she has rented this hall. The first was for her son's celebration of life, my cousin. This hall is a great spot, it's clean, has very clean bathrooms, has a kitchen and refrigerator. It's great. They have chairs and tables which are in great working order. Parking. Nothing to complain about.

There's easy access down to the water with the kayaks,although it is a bit of a walk to the ramp from the parking lot. Maybe 100 yards or so. It's got restrooms that are decently maintained. Once on the water it's easy moving up and down stream.

Beautiful park with horrible restrooms. No running water and toilets don't flush. Restrooms are gross and need to be replaced. If you go to this lovely park, have a plan for what you will do about using a restroom. You might have to drive to one nearby.

The park was beautiful. Different colored trees, a river that ran next to it, park benches, one park bench right next to the water, cool breeze coming in from the mountains. Definitely recommendRestrooms: They did have restrooms. From what I can recall the restrooms weren't too badPicnic area: There were nice picnic areas and there was actually a bench right next to the river.

Fresh air, not a lot of activity and peaceful songs from the birds, good place to go. Use the restroom before hand.

Nice park for a day trip. The facilities are ok and the park is large enough to spread out and relax. The river runs right past the park but is very cold, better for fishing than swimming.

Nice view. Good place for a picnic or for taking a small hike. Love the weather there as well. Water is peaceful and calm. The only thing that I dislike here is the bathroom, no locks on 2 restroom and there was no soap left and eventually toilet paper ran out. I'd say to bring in your own toilet seat dispenser, toilet paper and soap. Overall a nice place to get away from all the mess in the world.

It was a beautiful park. Just one thing was bad....way to many flies. You could not enjoy your time there without the flies bathing you.

Nice big park on the river. There's lots of parking and tables and there's restrooms making this a great place to have a kid's birthday party or something of the sort there's this small play structure and lots of areas where your kids or dogs could run around. And during the weekdays it is pretty empty making it in a nice quit place to read a book or jusrvsit and enjoy the river and the birds and nature.Playground: Nothing too fancy just an old place structure you know with a slide and little jungle gym and the whole bitRestrooms: There's public restroomsDog-friendliness: Lots of room for dogs to run as long as they're friendly and come backPicnic area: Tons of picnic tables great place to have a little party

I love this park I've been coming here since I was a kid, my Dad used to bring us her to go fishing and go for small hikes. Lots of shade and they have a playground for the kids, lots of room to play baseball, volleyball, football, soccer, badminton or anything you can think of. It one of my family's favorite places to go!.

Henderson Park in Snelling, California is one of the most beautiful parks with the Merced river running through it and a wonderful place to take not only your children but your fur babies! My puppy Bodie loved running around the park chasing birds and leaves..🐦🍂👍🏼😎

Beautiful park. Great place to take the whole family. I highly recommend you reserve a spot for big parties. Great spot to go swimming as the river is right there. Wear a life jacket. Also don't forget the fishing poles. Nice fishing spots even before you get to the park.

Found the fishing here fair at best being so close to the fish hatchery that rules and regulations for fishing were strict. Although you can rent spots for RV's i didn't see any and i saw no campers i did show up in the middle of night once and found it peaceful despite the coyotes getting to close for comfort. Still a nice place to go.

I absolutely love this park! There's no cover charge..lots of parking for parties.. There's covered awnings for parties or open areas. Bathrooms are actually clean. People float down the river..and lots of trees and walking views.. There's tables by the river for adult parties. There's a nice playground next to the baseball feild one for small children another for older children. Lots of garbage cans and many people fish here. Really lovely place for sunny day birthdays and a picnic date. Beautiful.

Went here to float the river, these grounds were a perfect location to begin our float. Plenty of parking, cheap admission, more than one set of bathrooms.For anyone floating this area, be aware that this specific location has a very minimal current - we had to paddle our way down until the more rapid areas began.Second note, be aware that the water is super low right now, so any rapid areas are extremely close to the rock bed - be sure to lift up!Roughly took us 2 hours to float a little over a mile (we exited on 3rd street, in Snelling)

Lots of parking and lots of benches. Park with river next to it. Great for fishing. Has trails that lead in. Usually very calm on weekdays only Mayne 10 cars in a huge park. Weekends are busy though. Great for swimming and boating too. Thus connects to Shaffer Bridge then Cressey bridge. If you boat down this river

Checked this place out for the first time....It's a nice calm place during the week. A nice place to take the family to play in the park or even swim....I like it because it's far enough from town, that it's not too crowded!

It's beautiful and it's clean and kept up they have nice pits there and plenty of room for your kids and animals to run around I have horseshoe pits and they also have an area you can rent or events

Rented part of the park. Was so worth every penny! We had cabana with a fireplace and kitchen, tables in and outside right next to the river with amazing views. Private bathrooms. We set up pinata, corn hole games, volleyball net and baseball in different places. The party was a success!

Mostly a really neat place! Bathrooms are a disgrace and really need to be fixed up! Taking my young daughters into the bathrooms is disgusting! No toilet tissue, no lights, doors don't lock or barely even close and bathrooms are very dirty and shabby!
