This Simi Valley pet superstore is pretty good for all your pet needs. From furry critters, avians, reptiles, fish, cats and dogs, you can usually find what you need at this one-stop pet shopping experience. Self dog wash facilities, a doggie day camp, pet grooming, veterinary care, pet training, and an adoption center they pretty much have it all. A clean store with friendly and helpful staff you’re sure to find any pet essentials.

Pet Smart grooming is the best!! I took my pup Biscuit & she came back the happiest and cleanest ever! She was groomed by Carly Zaremba, and I couldn’t recommend her enough!! Super nice and caring towards my dog’s needs and even sent her home with the most precious pink bows in each of her ears :,) We will definitely be back!!

This store NEVER sells fish ! Not sure if the employees are just too lazy to bag the fish or if they are constantly having sick fish . I've gone many different times to buy fish and " we're not selling fish" is always there response . New employees every week and they lack good management.

Leeloo gets a little bit nervous at the groomers sometimes, but Carly made her feel very comfortable as soon as she greeted us. Carly always does a wonderful and thorough job with Leeloo and leaves very sweet remarks :) Leeloo would love to come back and see Carly again next time! Thank you!

The employees are amazing and extremely helpful. Appreciate them. BUT...when it's time to purchase items, there is normally one cashier available. This causes a long wait to check out. I have personally noticed customers getting upset.

Come here for adoptions! Get a kitty any day of the week! More cats and kittens available on the weekends. Fosters also needed. The staff at Petsmart are very helpful and Pink Paws runs the adoptions.

It’s a shame but much like every petsmart and petco they do not properly care for their animals. The one ik most about being hamsters. ALL of the cages are extremely too small, something that will lead to a hamsters death. A hamsters cage needs to be 700-900 sq inches depending on the size of the hamster, as well it needs atleast 10 inches of bedding as hamsters are natural burrowers. Anything outside of that is cruel and is why hamsters tend to die quickly. Using petco’s supplies my hamster died not even a month in, but using proper supplies that petco does not provide my hamster lived a long life for hamsters (2 yrs) If you are going to purchase an animal here do NOT rely on their pamphlets but rather do your research online.

Pups had a great bath, Self serve Organic Wash and Conditioner is a great option. No more crawling on the around, $15 each is a bargin and attentive staff made everything so easy!Thanks Petco, it's where Rehna and Leo will go, for a puplisous clean shiny look!Jennifer & CraigPS. OOPS. We returned the 2 small blue towels.Note; Do bring additional towels, cotton for ears, Flea shampoo if needed and old collar to get wet. We brought 4 extra beach towels to put on floor and in SUV extra, you can never have enough towels.

Very disappointed on the grooming service provided at PetSmart. I used to come all the time, but lately it went down hill and unfortunately all their team members has changed. If I was able to give them zero stars, I would!!!! The staff and specially manager is rude, irresponsible. The groomers are very bad and unprofessional,The shaved my dog even though he wasn't even matted, they're lazy and rude. They charged me extra $20. The rude manager told me: If you are not happy, take your dog to some other places.

I recently visited the Petsmart store in Simi Valley and was blown away by the helpfulness of the store manager Julie. From the moment I walked in the door and met her, she made sure that we will be a returning customer and accommodated all of our needs.Overall, my experience at Petsmart was top-notch specially with their manager. I will definitely be returning for all of my pet's needs in the future.

Have large selection of pet supplies for good prices, often comparable to Target prices. They will honor the online prices if you show them when in the store. Can order online and pick up your order or have it brought out. Also offer treat reward points which can be saved and used to take money off or can be donated. Staff is very helpful and nice.

Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere! It makes me feel comfortable to shop for things I need but also to ask questions about products that I'm unfamiliar with. The day I went in, a vendor representative for Blue was there and she helped me find the best food for my dog, so helpful!

I have been so happy with my past purchases until now. I was disappointed when I tried to return the led light to the aquarium I bought. I tried new batteries old batteries cheap then Expensive batteries. Nothing was Ble to make the light work. Instead of switching it out with another I have to empty my fish and the aquarium contents plants, gravel.Very disappointed. May just return the thing and go elsewhere where I can get better support.

Giving an honest opinion. Two stars were bumped off only because my last visit was not professionally handled by any means.When it comes to the store itself, it's a PetSmart. It's going to likely be the same here as it would be in any other store in terms of items to buy or services provided.I came here last weekend to use their self wash. It took an employee about 15 minutes to finally help me and get into the self wash station, but I didn't mind that because I could see through the windows that they were dealing with a lot of grooming appointments, so I waited patiently.The only problem I had was the fact of how something was handled, or the lack of.When I was washing my dog in the self wash station, I felt something on my legs that was a bit itchy. I looked down and noticed I had a couple of fleas jumping on me.Now, this is a pet store, and a common thing amongst dogs and cars are fleas. They can get them anywhere, so I didn't make a scene. My dog is treated, so I had nothing to worry about.But I know that some other people are not as nice as I am when it comes to alerting a store of a problem. I waited for the employees at the counter to finish dealing with other customers so I could talk to her privately without others overhearing, to just give her a heads up that there are fleas in the wash room.It was hard to get a word in. I do not know how the protocol works in the store, but I would figure that if someone told you the room has fleas, that you would most likely just want to disinfect and sterilize the room. But it just came across from the employee that MY dog had fleas and needed to be treated, when in reality I was trying to just explain that the store had fleas and they may want to just spray it down to kill them.I know fleas hate water, so they'll mostly drown in there, but it is still just a hygienic thing. My dog is treated, but I am not. I was the one getting bitten by the fleas, and I'm sure others would want to avoid that as well.Ultimately, this store isn't close by me so I likely won't return, so if something is done about it, I don't care very much.

I sat outside in my car for 30 minutes to wait for the store to open at 9 AM just for them to tell me that they’re only open for grooming that I have to wait another hour before I can come in. That is really ridiculous , I sat there for 30 minutes so I can get my bearded dragon some crickets but now I can’t get them no crickets because they’re only open for grooming I’m gonna take my business elsewhere. I really like come into the store but I guess I won’t be coming back to this location. I’ll go to the Westlake one.
