Super cool hardware store. Love the old traditional brick and mortar feel. I love how they have random cool things like toys for kids, Lego’s, books, necklaces, cards, etc. Make it feel very personal and not so “we only sell hardware stuff”. Id come and support the local shop if I lived closer.

This place feels like an old fashioned ma and pa , brick and mortar kind of place with employees always around and quick to ask if you need help finding anything, been coming here since 2000 and still great place to go for repairs, building materials

Thank you for not only asking the customer if they need help, but knowing what things are or where they are. You always put the big box shops to shame. I love also the home town feel of the jelly stand or artful nick knacks in the front. Love this place!Update 3 years later, and it's still my favorite place for all diy home needs. They treat you so well and have tons of creative solutions to your project. On the weird chance they can't help you, they carry a Master list of local handymen who can help. Get on over to Arnold's!

Love going in there and breathing the aroma of hardware! And I'd rather give my Hardware money to them then drive out of town. I always go in for one item and come out with three or four as they have some cool toys like the salt gun for insects and balsa wood airplanes and that Frost Top Root Beer reminds me of being a kid in Ohio.

Went to Arnolds for Stainless Steel machine screws for floor drain screens, walked in and handed them the screw I was looking for. 30 seconds later he found the screws handed them to me I paid and out the door in under 3 minutes. Dare anyone to try that a home depot of lowes because you would never find them much less anyone to help and five of these only cost me 99 cents.

Smallish mom and pop hardware store. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Limited products available. Homeowner/DIY adequate, but not for pros/tradesmen. Did not have much of an electrical department. Did not have a fairly common 20amp circuit breaker I went to get.

I had a difficult customer service interaction in this store today. I was very upset and I'm not one to storm out of a shop, but I did on this occasion. I reached out via their website to address my issues. The owner personally responded immediately. I received an apology from him, assurance that the conversation had been addressed with the employee, and an apology passed along from the employee my interaction was with. Businesses don't always get it right for the customer. We're all human. But the good ones know how to step up, take ownership and look to improve where things go wrong. I'm impressed, and in time (I'll need to cool down still) I hope I can return to this great local shop to give them another try.

I've come to Arnold's for a variety of items and I have to say, this is the answer to Home Depot! The staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and more than willing to help. The store is neat, clean, well organized, and has that small town vibe of your grandfather's hardware store. They've got a great selection of products including hard to find items, and everything is priced well me it's my first stop when I need something for a project at home.

Arnold's Frontier Hardware is a great place nestled in a small community. It probably has everything you need, without going to a larger store. Plus you get the joy of helping a community business. It has some of the best horse gifts around, as well as a number of other nice things and wants for you personally, and for the house. This is besides all the hardware, paint, construction, and cleaning needs, etc., etc., that a person could want. If you are not sure they have what you want, just call. All the staff is very service oriented and will be happy to check for you.Arnold's is around the corner and up the street from where I live, so it is very convenient. Traveling a few miles would be worth it though. Give Arnold's Frontier Hardware a try soon!

I love this store they have it all. Hard to find items they have it. Want to be served go there they're very helpful. Especially if you're not sure about an item you're looking for just ask. They will make sure you get the right item to do your project correctly. I highly recommend this place you'll save time and get knowledgeable advice to get your project done right the first time.

Found this place on yelp after going somewhere else and them not having any in stock. I called 15 minutes before closing and I made it in enough time to grab some stuff and go. There was a worker that helped me find the stuff I needed. He was very polite. I would recommend them to all.

This is a rare find - an actual Hardware Store that is not sell eggs or milk; but they do have soil amendments if your interested.Had the opportunity to purchase some Champion Irrigation products that were nowhere to be found on a Sunday - yes, thank you Frontier Hardware for being open to support the home owner.Very knowledgable staff and great service. I will be going to this store before checking the Nationally advertised conglomerates.Frontier Hardware rocks!

My husband and I went out shopping two days before Christmas. We had four hard to find items on our list and figured we would have to make at least four stops. I suggested we stop at Arnold's because I like to shop locally as much as possible. What a surprise - Arnold's had everything we needed, including a wonderful helper who found our items, and even opened a box to be certain that the item would work for us. Always start your shopping at Arnold's!

I was hoping/expecting a BERG HARDWARE from the past. Friendly help asked what I was looking for." 8-32 plug and bottom taps" I answered.He pointed out to me their location where I found only start taps. Among their modest assortment I saw only start taps for all sizes.Store looks good and is clean.

This place is awesome. Even before they became an Ace Hardware franchuse, they have always provided great service, good products, and I love the fact they are close to the house. They have always gone out of their way to help me. They might cost a little more, but they are worth it.

Just about the only place around that you can buy those odd &/or random bits to finish a project. Amazon wanted 2 days and 6x the price for some odd hardware, I picked it up here in 30min and saw 4 other things I need. Thanks for the great help and customer service.

Arnold's Hardware in Sierra Madre is a great local hardware store. They are well located in the center of town and have ample parking and lots of hardware for the local community.
