They make awesome large sandwiches. We had a toasted sourdough with roast beef and all the trimmings. It was delicious highly recommend this place. And the owner was very nice.

First off, this store keeps some people alive. The owner is about as good of a guy as can be. Sure, you can drive to get cheaper...but that leads to no store and further separation of the community. Families are becoming a thing of the past, so the community is broken. Not an insult, but in the old ways, members of communities did a role to provide for everyone, and money was not an issue. A collective of Families who care, now it's vacation rentals and money guiding our children's lives strait to the abyss. God help us. A baked potato with vegan toppings would help the hikers, who are very carbon footprint aware and 5 minutes in the micro and boom. Larry needs support, so he can support the community.

The sandwiches are as good as people say. The breakfast sammy was awesome. We had ours as the chef recommended. BLT was good. Bacon was great. Tomato not so good. Still delish. The chocolate milk shake was wonderful!

Great store ran by an awesome local guy named Larry. Delicious food and open year round!!! The prices can be higher but given the location it's totally understandable. Couldn't be happier to have a store nearby in this community!

We stopped here for a quick meal and ended up staying three days because the food was so good with huuuuge portions ( especially the breakfast burrito) and the people working there are amazing ! We can’t recommend this place enough, for real you won’t regret it ! Thank you so much JB and Lars, you guys are the best !

GREAT DELI! You get a sandwich big enough for most to eat lunch and dinner! Snacks, decent selection of beer, and you love the selection of Wine and Spirits. The spot for PCT hikers to grab packages, without Larry and this shop, a hole would not be filled!

One guy runs this whole place it seems. Beautiful backdrop on a sleepy one horse California mountain town. You may have only this place to choose from, but it's good, the guy there has everything you need. Also, he is accommodating to the local hikers, let's them stay on the porch and so on.

Enormous food portions from the grill. Had the Gutbuster burger, too big to finish. They offer lots of options for burger toppings. Got the chili cheese fries. The fries were also enormous and I was unable to finish. Free WIFI was nice, especially considering there was no phone service in town. No tobacco for sale but they do have mini bottles of liquor. Unfortunately they do not have any good spots to eat in the shade outside when I stopped in back in July. Garbage cans outside were overflowing but cleaned up the next day.

Good minimalist hiker resupply. Only large fuel canisters. Only kind of bar is Clif. Can charge devices on side. Excellent deli. Try the hot pastrami!

The store has Wi-Fi. This is important if you want to make contact while you are in the area. However, I paid $10 bucks and change for a bottle of diet Pepsi, sparkling water and a small can I sliced olives. I really love to shop in small towns to support their economy but I felt robbed. My group planned to have lunch their but after my purchase of olives for the pizza I planned to make for dinner we decided we couldn't afford to eat from the sandwich counter. We went to Bassett Station

An absolutely lovely place and you must stop in when in Sierra City for the most fabulous sandwiches and hamburgers and Deli treats you ever had in your life great stop for the hikers stop in and meet the lovely proprietor Larry learn all about lovely Sierra City I guarantee you you will enjoy the amazing food and your shopping experience!
