We stayed 2 nights while visiting Lassen National Park in October. Location to the park is very convenient, and the property surrounding Tall Timbers is lovely. We drive an electric vehicle and charged on their 110 outlet over night which allowed us to travel anywhere in the park. Breakfast was delicious and very much appreciated. The Inn is lovely and the family suite was spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend Tall Timbers for anyone visiting Lassen! Martha is a very gracious host and will do anything she can to make your stay comfortable.Rooms: The Family Suite is 2 bedrooms plus living area and private bathroom. Comfortable, private space.Nearby activities: Lassen National Park is 7 miles away.Safety: A quiet, forested area. Nice outdoor space, grassy front yard, fire pit, in a very safe spacious neighborhood.Food & drinks: Delicious home cooked breakfast!Noteworthy details: The hosts welcome you into their home like family. Beautiful location. Wrap around deck with views into the nearby forest.

Our family had a great time at Tall Timbers, the house was beautiful and cozy with a warm fireplace and it felt like staying wtih family. The hosts were the best party - friendly without being intrusive, delicious breakfasts, and great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We are already planning a return trip and will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay with a wonderful host. We spent three nights here with our 20 month old son during July 2023. About a 10 min drive to Manzanita Lake in Lassen National Park and many other wonderful sights are an hour or less away. Our room was clean and comfortable and they had set up a pack-n-play for our son before we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. Martha does a fantastic job and made our son feel at home. If we ever make it back to that part of California we will stay here again.

This was our first trip to Tall Timbers and to Lassen National Park, and both were fabulous experiences. The B&B is only about 10 minutes from the park's north entrance. Tall Timbers is so peaceful, and Martha made us feel like this was our home for the two days we were there. The room was very comfortable, and the home-cooked breakfasts were delicious and satisfying! We also loved Milo, the Tall Timbers doggy...what a cutie with a wonderful personality. We definitely recommend Tall Timbers when planning a stay in the area! ♥️👍

Tall Timbers was a great stay! They are located 15 minutes (by car) from the nearest entry point to Lassen National Park. The location of the house is in a cute quiet, secluded area off of the 44 highway. They are also close to Mt. Shasta (~1 hour), Burny Falls (~30 minutes), and the southwest entrance to Lassen if you have to go around because the peak is closed (~1.5 hours). The photos don't do the rooms any justice. The room we stayed in (Sugar Pine) was cute, spacious, and very accommodating. It had a detached bathroom exclusive to us, and a shared small fridge and microwave in a shared common area.Martha is an amazing host who went out of her way to ensure I had a breakfast that I could eat (dairy allergy) and all her breakfasts were so good! Huge thanks to her.Just a note for anyone that's a light sleeper, the sound insulation in the house itself could be better, if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs on the off chance an unruly child is in an adjacent room.Loved the stay, would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed our peaceful, unique, cozy, pristine, comfortable time at Tall Timbers, and really were so happy to have found these guys---they could not have been more hospitable nor had a more beautiful mountain/forrest/alpine retreat. A genuine Bed and Breakfast , one feels right at home with the individual and different types of rooms as well as plenty of opportunity to move around the property and have a private spot to have coffee or sit by the fire pit or enjoy the large patio -I would not hesitate to revisit Tall Timbers, and , in fact, we have been missing it since we left-

When we arrived at dusk with the warm sunlight filtering through the trees and sparkling through the sprinkler water on the impossibly green lawn I felt like I had just landed in an exclusive community in Maine. It was gorgeous. Had first floor suite with direct access to porch. Hosts were super helpful, great travel tips, and made us sweetly packed omelets to go as we don’t eat breakfast. Bring earplugs and masks if you’re a fussy sleeper that wants to sleep late, but really who wants to do that in this place?!?! Great deal for close access to Lassen, in a gorgeous, secluded location.

Incredible B&B that exceeded all expectations. The property has woodsie charm, but with all modern conveniences. It is very very close to the entrance for Lassen NP, which made it easy to go to-from their place and the park.Martha and Neal are so kind and friendly- it truly feels like you’re coming to stay with family. Martha’s breakfast cannot be missed (omelettes were so good)! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I loved sitting on their front yard swing to enjoy the peace and quite. They gave us several great tips for the park and surrounding areas. If I could give more than 5 stars for hospitality and charm, I would. We will certainly return here anytime we’re back up in the area!

If you are going to visit Lassen National Park, don’t miss a chance to stay at Tall Timbers B&B. It’s such an unexpected surprise in the middle of forested lands just minutes from the entrance of Lassen Park near Manzanita Lake. Martha and Neils are such wonderful and gracious hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. The breakfast was also delicious and the extra amenities such as the coffee/tea bar, fresh fruits, mini fridge, microwave and cozy shared living room were definitely appreciated. It felt like a home away from home. It’s a perfect for a retreat to relax and recharge. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! We stayed here for 2 nights on a road trip and it was the most lovely place. Everything was incredibly cozy, breakfast was delicious, and it's located only 15 minutes from the north entrance of Lassen national park. This might be my favorite bed and breakfast ever - I wish I could leave more than 5 stars :)

Hosts are very nice and accommodating. Located about 15 minutes from Lassen National Park NW entrance near Manzanita Lake. Grounds are beautiful. Large home. Their living area is when you walk in the front door. We rented the Family Deluxe Suite with two bedrooms, a sitting room and a bathroom. It's on the first floor just off their TV room. We couldn't hear them much at all once we closed our door. Our sitting area also had dishes, silverware and glasses, a Keurig, a refrigerator/freezer and large TV.One bed was pretty squeaky with movement. Otherwise, all was clean and comfortable. Water power is fine and plenty of hot water.Heard someone above us take a short shower when we were going to sleep but it didn't last long. Other than that, it was very quiet. There are tables outside, one on the porch and one in among the trees.Breakfast is in the dining room near the kitchen. Food was very good each morning, omelettes with veggies and toast. One morning was veggie crepes. Coffee, tea, OJ available.Prices are reasonable. There are rooms upstairs, one with two single beds, one with a queen bed. Each has its own bathroom. You have to go into the hall to get to it but it's literally outside your room door. There are games available.Their dog Milo is very friendly.Nearby activities: 15 minutes from Lassen National Park

Very cute and nice place to hang outside. They have really made it a friendly place to stay. Breakfast cooked as soon as you get up. We stayed upstairs in the two twin beds room and we had our own bathroom. You would need a car as it is secluded. Just a quick drive off the highway.Safety: Very safe I did not even lock my car.Food & drinks: Near by Pizza Factory is the best.

Would give this B&B 10 stars if I could. Adorable, clean, and cozy. Hosts were wonderful, very kind, and made us a great breakfast in the morning. They made us feel right at home. Best of all was their adorable dog, who was one of the sweetest and best behaved dog I’ve met. Can’t wait to plan my next trip to Lassen and will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

The host was very cordial and understanding. Although the location was remote its access to Lassen volcano national park was compensating. The wooded ambience was a good get away for us-a family on tour in the region.Nearby activities: Lassen volcanic national park

Stayed here to visit Lassen and couldn’t be happier with it! Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Beautiful property in the woods with a very short drive to Lassen NP entrance. Great spacious room and we had a private bathroom. Couldn’t beat the pre-hike breakfast either, amazing omelette’s, bacon, bread and more. We would love to stay again on our next trip to Lassen.

I felt very welcome and it made me feel like home. 😊The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean and equipped with shampoo and shower gel. Hard to believe that such a comfortable B&B would be here in the woods miles from the city. Perfect for Lassen access. Hosts enjoy their job and it shows.... friendly, good breakfast, cozy, clean and serine. Milo is a very relaxed lucky dog.Highly recommend staying.

Neels, Martha and Milo (sweet poochie) were outstanding hosts. We stayed for 1 night on July 19, 2022. The property is peaceful and beautiful. It is very easy to find and only a short drive (about 7.4 miles) to the turn to enter Lassen National Park by Manzanita lake. We stayed in the deluxe family suite which was wonderful. It was like having your own studio apartment. Two nice size bedrooms, bathroom and small living room with couches, TV, microwave, small Danby refrigerator/freezer and Keurig coffee maker. We also had our own sliding glass door to access the awesome porch. Outside on the porch was a comfortable table and chairs. They also have multiple areas to sit outside on the property if one chooses to do so. The next morning Martha made us a wonderful omelet breakfast to get us started on our day trip through Lassen. The seating for breakfast is also well thought out with plenty of space for everyone. You can also eat outside and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. I did not add photos because the website does a fine job giving you an idea of what to expect.Don't hesitate to book your stay at Tall Timbers because it is an excellent establishment. Thanks again for wonderful experience!
