I’ve brought my golden retriever dog, Rosie, here many many times for boarding and grooming. They do a fantastic job and of bathing and “deshedding” her. I absolutely love and trust this business. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and, seriously, can’t do enough for you.. I’ve popped in, unexpectedly, in the area where they play at different times of the day and all Is great! My dog always seems happy at drop off and pick up!.

Kelly did a great job grooming Queen! After moving here awhile ago, we had not been able to keep up with her hair growth and she had quite a few mats. Kelly handled it and gave us a fresh start to ensure it doesn't happen again! Thanks Kelly!

A great place for doggie day play and boarding. I feel like all staff members work hard to keep the dogs safe. They are quick to clean up accidents and give time out when dogs needs it.

Our pups love their hotel experience. We used to try to task family with watching our dogs when we left town, which was always a hassle and somehow always ended up with us coming home to a house full of "accidents", which was always great to clean up after a long trip. We started bringing our dogs to the pet club. What a terrific experience all around. The staff is incredibly friendly and our dogs seem to love them. We even get them groomed here and they do an outstanding job every time! Charlie and Lulu love you guys, keep up the great work!

Absolutely do not ever take a pet here. They specialize in animal abuse and shock your pets without your consent after they bark for one single minute. Their staff is very incompetent and won’t give your pets what you pay for. Total scam. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I am disgusted by their behavior and shocked they haven’t lost their license…..

Absolutely DO NOT take your dog here. They slip into the waiver that they use shock collars. They severely neglect the animals to the point that two dogs have sustained serious injuries. They need to be shut down.

Uses shock collars on dogs for excessive barking in their boarding. They count excessive barking as a full minute of it. They will not check if the shock collar is still on the dog at bed time or during play.Don't know if they use it in grooming but at this point I wouldn't be surprised. Literally go anywhere else than this sad excuse of a company.

There isn't enough praise I can give to this group; everyone from the daycare facilitators, groomers, and adoption services is beyond top-notch when it comes to care and respect for the animals in their charge. I personally have adopted one of the best dogs I've ever owned from them, and I bring both of my dogs in to play at the daycare regularly. They love it! Always a friendly greeting from all the staff, and it speaks volunes that my dogs seem to love them even more than I do. If you're on the fence whether or not to use their services, I urge you to do so! Amazing group, thank you so much for all you do!

They sounded very nice. Maybe if they weren't overwhelmed by all the evacuees' animals, they would be better. I was told on the phone how they loved my dog and she was doing so good. They would send me pictures. A week later...still no pictures even after I called twice. I was also told they would groom her before I picked her up. I called the evening before around 5:30. Picked her up the next day about 10:30 and her fur was sticky and stiff on her paws and her neck. She was very dirty and her fur was not shiny as it always is. She was not groomed at all. It was free so I should not complain, but I did not take my dog there.. she was transferred there by the Animsl Shelter. We were going leave a donation, however when we saw the condition she was in, we decided against it.

Best place to take your dog. Great grooming, day care, boarding and adoption services. We have been loyal customers for 28 years. Love Kerry, she is so passionate and full of energy as she owns and manages the operation. All of her staff love animals. Best Pet Club around!!!

I tried to get my dog set up for day care here mutiple times and got nothing but the run around. The managers seem to always be gone. They only offer temperament trials during the week between 10/11 am which is absurd considering most people work for a living. They refused to make an exception for a weekend day. This business is disorganized and poorly run by a bunch of young kids.

The staff was extremely generous and kind enough to help me have a place for my 2 dogs while we were evacuated for the caldor fire. I now have an appointment with them to get them groomed. Good all around pet service.

This place is a God-sent! I can't always take my puppy to the dog park to run him out of energy but this place will do it for you! And for a very reasonable price :) we've been going here for a few weeks my dog always comes back exhausted and they offer nail trims and exit baths as well. I highly recommend this place. you'll love the staff as well

Couldn't be happier, my Tibetan terrier was getting matted and uncomfortable and her tail was extremely matted, they got everything, she looks cuter than ever and is so much more comfortable now. Pricing was incredible for the job done!! Will be coming back and recommending to others.

Just had my shweenie groomed there for the first time. They were great kind, courteous and clean. My wonderful pup can sometimes be difficult to groom, they handeld him with care. He was groomed right at his appointment time. I have tried other groomers in the area but this place is a keeper.

They are quick to clean up accidents and give Mocha time out when she needs it. Mocha is a rescue pit bull mix and the staff works really hard to encourage good manners and a calm demeanor. I have been a loyal customer of El dorado Pet club for over 7yrs. My border Collie has been groomed, boarded and trained by Kerry and her crew religiously over those 7 yrs. I love to drop my boy off for time at the dog park to play and then have him groomed afterward, depending on the time of year shaved. He get tired out and comes home clean. We visit every month and they are always professional and courteous.

Sounds like they a below average pet watching service I’d feel safer just letting my dog roam the streets than stay at this place the staff have horrible dog training skills if any and don’t know how to handle basically any dog smh and they love using that shock collar after just one minute of barking

Been going to her for all services she provides-including the dog park since day one-well, she hasn't had her outdoor park for15 years-but I have taken all my pooches to her since the day I moved up here to El Dorado County! Kerry and crew truly love dogs. They are caring and put the animals' needs first. We take our dog, Clara, a bichon/poodle mix to be groomed here regularly and she is well cared for and well groomed. The people who complain about the length of time it has taken are simply ignorant. If your dog becomes stressed during grooming, they do not force the dog through the grooming, but rather give the dog a break and time to rest and feel less stressed. Our dog is a rescue, and she does become stressed during grooming; I am not at all bothered that it often takes many hours to groom her because I know that she is given the breaks she needs and that the greatest patience is being exercised with her to make sure all of her grooming needs are met, without forcing her through the grooming experience. Clara does not do well with perfumed shampoos, and they always remember this and accommodate with non-fragranced products. The dogs that are in the shop loose are well trained, well behaved, loving dogs, and it helps the other dogs to be calmer when they see that there are other dogs there who are comfortable and happy in the same environment. We attend the El Dorado Pet Club pack walk regularly (6 p.m. Sundays at Ponderosa High School) and Clara sees Kerry and other groomers outside of the grooming environment and she is always happy to see Kerry and much better behaved when Kerry works with her. Clara obviously recognizes that Kerry has her best interest at heart, and respects Kerry and responds very positively to Kerry every time Kerry works with her. Kerry is a "dog whisperer" and understands dogs better than anyone else I know. Her heart is in rescuing dogs, and her special talents include retraining dogs that have behavior issues that may even make the dogs be deemed unadoptable. Every dog that has the benefit of care and training from Kerry and her crew is a very fortunate dog!!

I have been to the El Dorado Pet Club a lot of times as they are only two minutes away, very convenient. The last time I went I swore would be that last because my 13 year Rottie was being dragged across the floor when I came to pick her up! I guess they didn't remember/notice she is old and it takes her a while to stand up when she has been stuffed in a crate for who know how long!(had dropped off three dogs that day and they called me five hours later) Also my Carin Chi mix had bald spots because they don't know how to use clippers....... Well today I really needed to take my Boston and Carin to get their nails trimmed. Figured how bad could it be its just their nails right......OMFG I thought my Boston was going to have a heart attack she is 12 years old and I have never heard her cry so much. My Carin was also freaking out so bad that she had to have someone hold him down for her (mind you when I take my dogs to Petsmart in Folsom my dogs are calm because the groomers are professional!) So when I got home my arm had blood on it because my dogs quick was bleeding! My dogs are traumatized now thank you! Also did you feel it necessary to throw my debit card at me? Really unprofessional dogs loose in there and everyone is rude.
