Early in 2020 we rescued a Goldendoodle from a local rescue. 2 days later we discovered that she has Megaesophagus. Not knowing what to do Marc was recommended. We called him on the phone, the first thing he said," was that he is not a Veterinarian." He told us what to do and to come see him in the morning. We went and saw him and again he said," I am not a Veterinarian."He recommended a specific diet, that we needed to make ourselves. So we make all of her food and use supplements recommended by Marc.We will call him with questions and he is always available and helpful..His recommendations have changed our dogs life. We are Grateful...

very grateful to have found Marc and Petstaurant. our dog had long-term skin issues and hardly any hair, and the vet put her on an expensive prescription diet and recommended following up with a pet dermatologist but warned it would be super expensive. the special kibble wasn't improving anything. i had a free consultation with Marc and he immediately recognized it as dermatitis, and knew it was being caused by a fungal infection - something the vet somehow missed. he helped me pick out grain-free wet and dry food and recommended two supplements. gradually her skin has been healing, her hair has been growing back fuller and softer, and her disposition just seems lighter and more energized. it was such a simple solution, and so much more cost effective had i gone down the vet/dermatologist route, which didn't even seem to be treating the root cause. i definitely recommend seeing Marc. and the products he sells are well-vetted

I don't know what I would do without Marc in my life.I have been a long time friend and customer of the Petstaurant. Marc has been advising my Harlow on her health since she was about 3. Through her stroke (from a bad dental incident) to dying in my lap (from a bad car accident) - he has been there giving me the right protocol to nurse her back to health.Marc is so amazing he can smell cancer on humans and animals. He has a gut instinct and the knowledge to get any animal to their highest health possible.It all starts with food (my dog eats his raw ground turkey and cornish game hen). He uses the highest quality meat and vegetables.And no matter how much he has changed my dog's life, he has changed my life. He is kind, giving, intuitive, and intelligent.If you have a cat or dog, do yourself a favor and go see Marc!

REVISE: I have to revise my review. I still think that Marc is very educated and he’s very helpful. My issue is the customer service there is not the best. They seem very dis organized. I don’t know who is educating the staff but every time I go in there I get a different message or information. The way they are ordering the frozen food is not good either. So if your dog or cat likes a certain frozen food you better have a back up because you may wait for weeks to get your order.OLD REVIEW: I get all my pets food here. The owner, Marc, is highly educated on animals diets and needs to stay healthy. If you truly love your pet and want them to eat healthy, then come here. Oh and his prices are cheaper than other pet stores.

No prepared by or expiration dates on any of the store brand frozen food, plus they dont rotate it and know whats been made when. The charcoal clay is not what they say, it is only betonite clay, no charcoal in it at all. Dusty/dirty in all the corners and edges. Freezers were filthy. They store so much all over the floors its a tripping/fire hazard. There are way better petfood stores. Dont believe the hype.

Marc is a gem. My pug was very ill. A friend recommended Marc and petstaurant. Marc gave some suggestions and urged to continue with medication from veterinary doctor.As a result even our vet was surprised how well our guy was doing. I am very grateful to Marc for all of his help.

I was recommended to Marc by a friend who had great things to say about him and how he has helped her and her dog. Went there right after my 12 year old puggle was diagnosed with diabetes. He recommend a diet change and supplements. We’ve been able t keep her insulin at a low level and she’s doing great! Marc is responsive and returns messages via text which is super convenient. We have Golden Retrievers who were suffering with hot spots after we had them groomed. Marc was able to detect that the hot spots were caused by an excessive amount of yeast in our dogs' food, the oatmeal shampoo, treats, etc. So, he changed their food, we use Head and Shoulders Shampoo and treats are all natural vegetables. Thank you, Marc...so far so good!!

Absolutely love this place for all of my pet food needs. The the owner Marc is also an amazing help with all kinds of pet related issues. He is a genius and often helps with small issues that can easily be fixed with diet or supplements.

Marc saved my dogs life without a doubt. She had severe allergies and would bite and chew her legs to the point that all the fur came off and she had sores all over her legs. She had developed allergies to the horrible food she was eating. Even when you try to buy the good brands of kibble, most of it is filled with crap. Marc knows and can recommend different kinds of quality food whether it's kibble or like in my dogs severe case, home cooked food. All the veterinarian did was put my dog on immune suppressants which would just make the problem worse in the long term. If your pet has any health issues, the food is a very likely cause. I highly recommend you see Marc for a free evaluation.

Mark Chang has free consultations at his store by appointment only. His vast knowledge and concern for cat or dog problems and success rate make him very unique among his countless followers. Quality food for the puppos! I came here because our breeder could not stop talking about the benefits of raw food. Rather than sort out the details, I just came here and let the experts do their magic. My dog is super happy with every meal so far. Human trade raw food is a natural flea repellant, which is a huge bonus, not to mention getting superior nutrition. We dont even bother with kibble anymore. Huge thank you to Petstaurant!

Fabulous! Healed dog's issue with yeast problems caused by a vet's recommendation to use Science Diet for pet! Totally wrong which caused yeast problems. Vet bills were high...ear drops, eye drops and he kept licking his paws. Vet said, "Dry eyes, will need eye drops for the rest of his life!" Thanks to Mark, problems all solved! Gratefully, Yoka

I was extremely happy with the dog food until my last purchase, especially the free range steer meal has about half inch of fat! this can't be good for my pets!
