I'm just thankful I was able to remove him from this place before anything else could happen...I dropped off my dog this holiday season to travel over 2,000 miles believing my pet would be safer while there than traveling. On the very first day apart, my partner and I logged onto their webcam to check in on him and were horrified to see an employee abusing him, along with another dog!!! This employee was throwing objects around within their main “large dog” room and was randomly spraying a black lab's face for no apparent reason. My dog was clearly frightened and was sitting by the room's entrance signaling that they wanted out. This employee aggressively leashed my dog by the throat and threw him out of the room, only to be violently yanked back into the main room moments later. I had to call K9 Loft to alert them of the rogue employee's behavior. After reviewing the footage, we were told by the manager “Val” that they “were horrified and sent home the employee”, but they were back within the facility handling him and other dogs before we could even get back there to pick him up. Let me stress, “Val” is beyond rude. She explicitly told us, “sorry our standards aren't up to yours...”. So in my opinion, if your standards are that your beloved pet will be in a safe environment, with safe employees that stand behind their customers needs and concerns, then NO this place may not live up to your standards! Thanks again for traumatizing us on the first day of our holiday vacation and then having zero compassion about it when we came to pick him up. We'll be sure to get a sitter or take him with us cross country next time.

K9 loft has been taking care of our bernadoodle for near 2 years now when we vacation or need to put her in daycare. All of the staff are caring, seem so excited when we bring the dogs and are the ONLY place we trust for grooming (Vickie does the best job!). They just seem to really care and our dogs are always happy when they see us approaching. We recently got another pup and they were really accommodating with him as well. We moved out of town but still think it is worth it to trek here if we have to board the dogs. Glad we found this place!

Our vet suggests we don’t bring our dog back here.The staff has always been incredibly nice to us and our dog, but unfortunately, I think the company’s policies create an unsafe environment.We left our dog here for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We picked our dog up after Thanksgiving and she smelled so badly of urine we had to bathe her before letting her into our home. Despite being fully vaccinated, she contracted a respiratory illness during her stay, necessitating an expensive trip to the vet and a round of antibiotics.For her Christmas stay, she contracted ANOTHER respiratory illness and came home with an injured paw. So yet another expensive vet visit, antibiotics, ointment, and a cone.While the staff is nice, I think the company pushes them to overbook, especially at the holidays. The dogs are left in unsanitary conditions and I don’t think they have the staff to keep everything clean or keep a close enough eye on the dogs. You can check out the webcams, the play areas aren’t well structured and are often overcrowded. Sadly, this made us doubt if our dog was receiving the walks we paid for.For the company - I’d recommend taking photos on the walk for the daily report card you send owners. Also consider restructuring the play areas, the dogs often seem unhappy

The only place I trust leaving my dog for Day Care. They have cameras you can watch you child with all day if you miss them, and there is always some one there monitoring and playing with them. He comes home happy and exhausted. Ready for bed. I love that they provided 3 free daycare days as they really helped when I needed them most. Staff is always super sweet and you can tell they have gotten to know your pet. They send end of day report cards with pics of my pet. I have tried Echo Park but Sherman Oaks is worth the drive in my opinion. I wish they were in San Diego, my pup would get to hang out with all his friends more often. Thanks K9 you guys rock!

K9 Loft is an extension of love to all pets that we all want for our “kids” when at grooming, daycare and boarding. I took out pup to every daycare down Ventura Blvd and back and the most attentive, clean, caring and trustworthy place was K9 Loft - I can even watch her on camera during my day!What sealed the deal for me was a late evening picking up our pup and seeing someone from K9 loft running in with a bag a food they don’t even sell at their store. There was a dog that was boarding with them that ran out of their special food and they went out to another pet store just to get it. I was completely impressed and we boarded our pup there to see how she would do - flawless and happy.Thank you K9 Loft ! You keep us happy and content and I always sing your praises to my pet parent friends!

We have been customers of K-9 Loft in Sherman Oaks for 10 years, certainly not because of the mediocre service but because of the convenient location. We have spent many thousands of dollars there over the years for dog boarding, daycare and grooming. The last dollar we will ever spend there was today. A few minutes before a dog grooming we had booked a full week in advance they called to cancel...as we were walking in the door at K9 Loft to drop off our dog. In order to get our kids to sports games on time we were forced to leave our dog there for a few hours of daycare. Even if we hadn't been decade long and loyal (if never really satisfied) customers, we expected they would watch the dog for a few hours for free or a heft discount given their screw-up. But rather than doing the right thing for any customer, let alone a decade-long one, they insist we pay the full rate for a service we didn't even want had they not screwed up to begin with. AVOID.

We left both of our doggies with K9 Loft in Sherman Oaks for a couple of weeks. This was our first time leaving our dogs in a "daycare" and we were super nervous about it. The staff were so patient and kept us updated regularly during the first few days to make sure we felt more comfortable. We were able to check the cameras all day and saw the staff giving all of the dogs SO much love and attention! (Not to mention the constant cleaning they were doing!) They were walked daily, fed their food during their regular schedule and even groomed just before we picked them up. Really, I can't say enough about the great staff at this location. SO happy we chose K9 Loft to care for our dogs while we were gone. I wouldn't think twice about bringing them again! Thanks K9 Loft Sherman Oaks!! <3 Piper and Lady

Staff I delt with were nice ...but I had a grooming appointment for 9 am ... I went in groomer came out ...told her exactly what I wanted...i specificallytold her exact blade etc ...... and she tells me they can't do it.... they don't go that short unless matted. They only go as short as a 10 blade... I wanted a 15 on body and ears..... (I am a groomer of 40 years and a vet tech for 35yrs..... ) I needed to have someone else groom my dog because I had surgery, so right now I can't do it ....I never refused to do what a client asked for ..... I may talk and explain if something might not look good etc. . I had pics of my dog groomed so she could see ..... I feel they need to get groomer in there that are able to groom dogs the way the client asks ..... so disappointed....

I hate leaving my 14 year old, mixed breed former shelter dog, Barnum, when I travel. K9 Loft was recommended to me by my daughter several years ago, and, after trying several other places this is the ONLY team with whom I will board my dog! Every staff member is helpful, courteous, and caring. A report card and photo(s) are emailed to me while I am away and I'm beginning to think Barnum is enjoying his "staycation" as much as I'm enjoying my vacation getaway. Additionally, groomer, Patricia, gave him a fantastic haircut while he was there. Do not hesitate to use K9 Loft if you need day care, boarding or grooming services!

TRULY AWFUL PLACE. My dog was attacked my another dog there and had to undergo surgery and had an eight inch laceration, this was Negligence. The temperament test was solely superficial. Inappropriate training of the staff, incompetence. No one intervened, might as well be a dog fighting ring. My dog will never be the same around other dogs. If you want your dog to not be traumatized for life, don’t send them here. All in all, I would leave negative stars if I could.

Don't bring your dogs here!!!!! My dog got bit super bad at this daycare because they don't keep close eye on the dogs there. I asked Ashley the manager there what they could help with the situation and nothing. She wasn't compassionate about the situation at all. Worse customer service I've ever experienced at a store and dog daycare. Not only did I have to go pay at the vet for my dog to get proper care he needed after being attacked by a dog there and deal with the stress but I had to pay for services after all this. 0/0

Had the worst experience. My poor dog got kennel cough and worms during his 3 night stay here. He was all up to date with every vaccine. He was miserable there and miserable when he got home with diarrhea. I had to take him to the emergency vet hospital since our VCA vet was booked for 8 days. This place was 85$ a day during “holiday season “ and I ended up paying another $500 at the vet hospital for the visit and his 3 medications he had to take 3 times daily. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS AWFUL PLACE

I’ve been taking my dog here for grooming and boarding for 3 years. Humphrey’s haircut is always perfect and the staff is always friendly. The place is clean and the play areas are clearly filled with love. The only thing I wish was a little different was keeping the haircut we get on file so I don’t have to describe what I want done every time we come in. But otherwise, I drive 20 minutes to keep coming back because I trust them to take care of my pooch. I highly recommend.

My dog , Frankie has been going to K9 Loft since he was a puppy. The staff is conscientious , helpful and loving with our pets. I know Frankie is safe when I take him to daycare. His grooming and dental care are all excellent.

We love love love the k9 loft. We use to have a service come to our house with our old dog for grooming but once we got our puppy we realized we need to try day care to socialize him. The staff is super friendly and took great care of our Charlie while at daycare I decided to give the grooming a try. This was our puppy’s first grooming (besides baths at home and a little trim w scissors) and they did AMAZING!! We keep going back for grooming and daycare. Would highly recommend. They also sell lots of high quality dog food, treats, beds, toys, accessories... whatever u might need for ur pup.

My 4 month old corgi pup loves this place and the staff are all so friendly. He wags his tail like crazy whenever I drop him off. He made a couple friends and I like to watch them play on the webcams. This place is very clean compared to other daycares in the area. Definitely my go to whenever my sitter is not available. Highly recommended

I called to make an appointment for grooming, and they hang up the phone on my face! as I was politely and very respectfully trying to explain her why my 13 years old dogs don't get parvo shots anymore under my vet's recommendations. They only get rabies. She hang up the phone!!!! And mind you, I was already a customer. I took my dogs there several times and never had a single issue with vaccinations. Ever. If that’s how you treat your customers, no thank you.

Pricilla the groomer is fantastic. She listens and makes sure she understands what you want to service you to the best of her ability. I’m so happy to have found someone I trust and who my pup is comfortable with getting groomed by. Staff is friendly also.

Highly recommend! The space is clean, well air-conditioned, has a great staff, and good energy. My puppy absolutely loved it and came home completed wiped-out and ready for bed. The staff was so sweet and welcoming, I felt very safe putting my dog in their hands. Amazing atmosphere and the perfect place for dogs to be well socialized and properly taken care of.

Never going back here for antythng any more I brought in my 8 year old yorkie for a full groom they clipped him so bad with there clipper which resulted in my dog to bleed so bad I had to take him to the vet right across the street from K9 loft they never took responsibility for it even tho I shared a copy of the vet report and pictures. The groomer was so much in hurry that day that she didn't even take consideration my instructions on how to groom my dog even tho his been going there for many years this place keeps changing groomers and there service along with the care towards our pets have gotten down. From now id rather pay extra and get a mobile groomer than go back to any place my dogs always come back stressed out god knows what they do when the owner aren't there not worth the vet bill stressed out with cone around his head for no reason at all

We had to drop off our fearful rescue pup at K9 loft for a week while we had family in town and a lot of construction going on in our home. We were so nervous to leave him, but we knew K9 loft would be a safer environment and also provide opportunities for our dog to socialize with other dogs and people. The staff at K9 Loft is AMAZING. They treated Auggie like their own, giving him pets through the day which he absolutely loved. They transitioned him from the large dog room to the small dog room when he was noticeably uncomfortable with another dog and we are so grateful Auggie was always safe and happy with the staff. We loved watching the webcam to check in everyday and witnessed some very sweet moments. Absolutely recommend K9 Loft for boarding and daycare.

K9 Loft in Sherman Oaks has been amazing for years and continues to be during this pandemic. The facility is spotless and all safety protocols are in place and adhered to.The front desk staff is kind, helpful and professional. The groomers haven't failed us yet. I will say, Mayra and Brandon do fabulous cuts on our Maltichon and are our go-to groomers.
