This is a great store with good prices on most items. Not super overpriced on everything like you normally see for a small town store. This has lots of fishing gear, camping gear, inflatables (these are more pricey), sandals, toys, souvenirs, and some Shaver lake clothing. Large collection of great-priced fishing flies! Check it out!

I just want to say that if you were in the area or close by, you must stop by for any of your sport needs. They have souvenirs, clothing, fishing, winter/summer rentals and offer camping options. Lindsey was working the counter when I showed up today. And she was very friendly and helpful.This is such a cute little town.Shaver lake is absolutely worth the stop!

Love this place. We rented a boat and fished. I caught a bass as soon as I cast from the back of the boat. The boat ride was nice amd easy to maneuver. They have a boat u can bbq on, we will get that one when the kids come to visit. Grest place for a couple outing, group gathering or family picnic. We will definitely go again

Unfortunately I was very disappointed of this place.Long story short- I went in February and made some different transactions which I spend quite a bit of money here over $200. Turns out we were unable to get to our ski destination so we returned our rentals, which they give a rainy day small blue slip for the rentals.Now yes I am very upset I lost the slip, it had been over a month trying to look for it. I called the store ahead of the time I was going again to figure out another solution so I don't loose the money which is $138 something in that price range for 2 rentals and 2 helmets and not including insurance!. Well they did not help at all! The response was keep looking. I also left my information for the manager to give me a call back, which he never called me back till this day. When I went in person, I told them again my situation and that I had called ahead of time and no one contacted me again, the cashier went to ask the assistant and he flat out said he wouldn’t make any exceptions and did not come to speak to me to even try and resolve anything.Again I would like to point out I made different transactions the previous time I was there and I have experience in retail which we can look up transactions with some information card/ID.Well with all this being said they kept $138ish for FREE!. I would just like others to know they are not helpful and will keep your money with no problem.

We come to Shaver Lake as a giant 20+ person family every single year. We buy souvenirs from this store every single year. Myself and my 2 sister in laws bought sweatpants this afternoon. My pair did not fit, and one pair was washed before being worn and shrunk immensely just going through the washer. We decided to return all 3 because they shrink. The woman that came to handle our return was extremely rude. She gave us attitude that the sweatpants were washed before they were worn. Lots of people wash their clothing prior to being worn! It’s hygienic! She was fine to process the returns for the 2 pairs that had the tags still attached but when we asked for at least store credit for the 3rd pair she very rudely asked what she was supposed to do with shrunken washed pants. Such BS and poor customer service, did she stop to think what WE are supposed to do with shrunken pants that they sold to us? She even tried to say they were 100% cotton and “What do you expect?! Cotton shrinks.” We told her it wasn’t 100% cotton and when she checked she saw we were right! But, she still didn’t make it okay.

They carry a nice selection of camping gear.I woke up this morning ready to make coffee when I realized I forgot to pack my camping stove - duh! Did a search, found this store, made a call, quick drive, and within a short time had a stove and made my coffee. Nice folks!

This place is awesome !! The prices are just as good, if not better than a Big 5. Also, they have a huge selection of stuff that you wouldn’t expect in a sporting good store, like tools and supplies etc. We’ve bought things, like gloves, t-shirts (for instance, my son got a real cool shirt that said “let the forest be with you”), dog leash, snow pants, a snow tube for sledding, etc. We’ve come here for years and were very luck to have them up at Shaver.

A great stop for last minute pickups before paying the high prices at the mountain. They have lots of snow gear and rentals. They also wax and edge skis which was great so I didn't have to wait at the mountain. The service was nice and the products are nice.

Went here to get a one day fishing license and the store clerk was very helpful and nice. The store is filled with camping and fishing goodies. Great store to visit if you are and outdoorsman or you forget to bring something camping.

Great selection of gear and the employees are straightforward. I asked about tire chains and I wasn't pushed to purchase them. The employee explained to me the rules on chains and simply advised me to hold off given the weather.

We rented snow shoes from Shaver Lake Sports. They had a large selection, were super helpful and friendly. They also have snow gear like jackets, gloves, and boots and are not overly priced. Thank you Shaver Lake Sports for helping us have a great trip.

Snow season is here, and came up the mountain like every year and especially this year trying to show support after the fires. Brought a season pass for the pno parks. To find out that 2 out of the 3 parks are closed!!!! And the store did know about it, and didn’t bother to let customer (me) know!!Shame on you.
