Always warm & friendly. Great healthy options to enjoy in-store or grab&go!Highly recommend:*Coffee Drinks, Smoothies and Kombucha (of course!)*Bagel Sandwiches*Soup of the Day & Chili*Acai bowls (it may not live up to some trendy place in the middle of a metropolis, but not bad for a little mountain town)... So happy to support this wonderful business!Vegetarian options: Tempeh and alternative proteins available.Dietary restrictions: They are thoughtful and address Gluten free, dairy-free and vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Popular option for toddlers & kids. They like it and it's healthy, too!

Ordered a Bourbon bowl, hoping for hot meal on a cold day. The vegetables are raw as in not cooked or if they were cooked I did not notice.:)So it is more of a salad. The rice is cooked but crunchy. ( should have been soaked before cooking.)So I guess it can qualify as a warm meal. A warm salad. I love the idea of the place but I was hoping for a meal designed by a chief. This is not that, a good local salad bar experience. Sorry but probably would not return and thank you for the food. :)

Outstanding . We had avocado toast. He had the Bravo with egg and I had Delta with goat cheese. We had coffee. Best coffee I've had outside of making it at home. And I had a kombucha blackberry & pineapple. Music was very nice. Anytime I'm coming through town, this is a diffident stop.11/10/23 our 8th wedding anniversary. I love this place. Now has coffee with mushrooms. I know it's a phase in popularity about mushrooms still love them. And the view of Mt Shasta- 😏♥️ ❤️

The Thai Sunshine salad had too much dressing on it... All I could taste was the dressing. Should of ordered the dressing on the side. My friend ordered the vegan Shakti Tediyaki bowl with Tempeh. She said that she would order it again. The Mushroom Machi and the Turmeric Machi were both good. The staff behind the counter were cheerful and friendly. I would come back but order something else.

What an amazing place! If you want a light healthy breakfast, this is the place to go! The avocado toast, with balsamic was out of this world! We had the Asahi bowl, called Sasquatch! One of the best I’ve had! Maybe one of the best in the business… nice folks and food was delicious…

Great food! Wonderful customer service. Quick meal preps. Great presentation and quality.I had the vegan bagel which I loved! It was healthy, tasty and filling! My wife had the Shakti bowl. Both with tempeh instead of chicken. The rice felt slightly undercooked in the bowl, so my wife didn’t like it. The bbq sauce on the tempeh felt a little too salty.I’m not a fan on kombucha, but they served a variety of home brewed light kombucha and also make other drinks.

This review is for the espresso and kombucha. Nice variety of flavors on kombucha. Guy who helped with kombucha really friendly and nice. I could not drink my espresso, it was so bad. They use Northbound beans, which I do not think were the problem. It was the making of the espresso that was at fault. The coffee was at the least overextracted. I can’t comment on whether the prep was also problematic. My husband and I had identical drinks, so it was not a one off.

We have gone here for breakfast/brunch every time we drive through Shasta (about 10 times the last couple years!). Their açai bowls are delicious, as are their smoothies! The atmosphere is perfect for the area, very laid-back, and the customers are eclectic in the best way.Vegetarian options: Tons of options for vegetarians!Dietary restrictions: If you are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, or just prefer high-quality ingredients, this place offers it all.Parking: Unless it's a high-tourist day (holidays, mostly), parking on the street right in front is easy, or there is a public lot right next to it.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the smoothies and avocado toast here, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Also has some outdoor seating for those who have dogs.

Aaah what a place, I wish we would find this gem much sooner. We would eat here every day. Great tasting combucha, brewed right there. Bagels, soups, toasts, smoothies, acai bowls.... everything that "healthy eater" can wish for. Thank you for the final cherry on the cake.Oh and service is top notch 💖

If you want healthy stuff, this is the place to go. Though I wasn't impressed with their Acai bowls, I think it's better than just regular fastfood. Jamba juice or Vitality bowl's acai bowls are much better tasting when compared to Alua's. The wraps are acceptable but still lacking in taste. The dips helped. Plenty of space inside and outside. Clean restrooms. Lots of parking available.

I love this place! The kombucha is fantastic and it's so fun trying all the different flavors. My personal favorite is the mushroom mocha. It is seriously the best mocha I've ever had and the mushrooms stop me from having a sugar crash, so it's a win win.

Alua's Thrive bar is an incredibly wonderful place to eat with really health food choices! Most menu items are organic! (The only place in Mt Shasta). My favorites are the Bagel sandwiches, the Organic acai bowl, and the stir fry bowl. The bagels are loaded with tempeh or turkey Swiss cheese, tomato and salad mix with ranch dressing.. Thrive has reasonable prices for the huge portion size. The owners and employees are kind and professional..There is also local organic espresso and organic mushroom/coffee drinks. Thanks Thrive for a great place to eat and get fueled!Vegetarian options: Tempeh , Tofu eggless salad. Huge salads and acai bowls are perfect for the vegetarian!

1. The coffee is good.2. They act cool and inclusive. and then I had to change my severely disabled boy's diaper on the bathroom-floor because there was no changing board in either of the two (large) toilets. It's not the end of the world, but that shouldn't happen in 2023.------------> thanks for the quick feedback. we are not familiar with the local conditions. but it's a little hard to believe that your rather upscale hipster cafe at a popular hiking/tourist attraction is falling victim to regular vandalism. every single restaurant on our three-week trip provided such a board. even in... difficult Portland downtown. I'm sure, in your custumers Interest you will find a solution.

I've only been here once so far, but I can see myself going back on a monthly basis. Decent service. I thoroughly enjoyed my beverage, and I'm glad it wasn't sickeningly sweet. Unfortunately, all beverages are sold in to-go cups, despite whether you're staying to drink it.Unique coffee & tea options include ingredients like turmeric & various mushroom options. I might have seen bee pollen on the menu too. The food options on the menu also looked both healthy & tasty.Seemingly good spacious, welcoming atmosphere.

I was visiting the area with family and decided to try a local coffee shop. The three of us had a cappuccino, an americano, and the golden milk. I prefer dark roast so Starbucks is usually just ok for me. Alua’s coffee though was on point! We left happy with the decision of stopping here for a coffee.

EDIT: I went into the store today and was attacked with aggressive and violent energies from the owner telling me im never allowed in the store again because my review deeply affected the person it was written about. I detailed the person in the review because I didn’t want somebody else to get fired. You tell me the person the review was written about is special needs? I am disabled. I have autism. When people are rude to me it deeply affects me and traumatizes me. No person I have dealt with in the store was so disabled they couldn’t speak with me and have a conversation and make choices to be kind or not so I’m not totally sure what that has to do with it! Or why the owner thinks it is ok to attack me, a local, a loyal customer to your store, a person who has on paper autism and is highly sensitive, and intimidate me, for writing a review that was completely valid, this is America. I have the right to speak my mind without getting yelled at when picking up food for my girlfriend. So no. I will not be taking the review down, and I’m not sorry for detailing the person who was rude to me and repeatedly over and over again made awful coffee. I won’t apologize for hoping to protect the employees who aren’t doing this to me who don’t deserve to be fired. Not saying that she does! I’m sorry that the person took it personally, but maybe they shouldnt work somewhere where making quality coffee and food is a must for positive reviews! So here ya go google, this is the edited review and the reason why I was verbally attacked by the owner today. You couldnt pay me to eat here again. Also the food is chock full of salt. And the ingredients aren’t organic. Here ya go google;I don’t know why but they think it is ok to charge me 10 dollars for a large coffee that they slopped together angrily in 5 seconds then get angry at me when I ask for more honey. This person has never made me a cup of coffee that isn’t a watery mess. This person has always been mean to me. They have never made me feel safe in the store or like I am welcome and I will turn around and walk out next time this person is working.
