Saw a dog get hit by a car and the owner a drug addict always lets this dog lose. So it was bound to get hit by a car. They left the dog with the guy even though the dog was in extremely pain and back leg mangled and what looked like displaced hips. The dog should have been taken right away. They are well aware of this issue with this particular person. They don't care about animals, they care about money and ticketing people for being late on shots. They told the addict he 72 hours to take it to a vet .... Are you kidding... Days of misery for that poor animal bad not to mention skinny puppies in the yard. Ghetto town.

What a great place. I got a wonderful dog. He is so funny n playful and a real clown. He found the couch first thing and then he found his cage. The guy is a bull. Lol I just love love love him. The people that work were very nice . Thank you

Shasta Lake City animal control is a joke. Indulging in harassing the public when a dog is licensed and registered with rabies shots still received “fix it ticket” for misplacement of tags when the dog was in my yard, they are literally just wanna be dog cops. Then came back and knocked on my door 3 days later for a verbal warning of an Unknown incident that was reported completely with out anybody in the house holds awareness in other word it didn’t happen and this creep won’t stop coming to our house.

One of the officers on duty came out to my home when I wasn’t present and asked my minor son his social security number and handed him a ticket because are little shi tzu dog was late on her shots & License. She was in a 6 ft fenced in yard like always and he stuck his head over the fence and asked my son if his dog had a current license. $600 fine I took the ticket to the boss man McGuire he shocked his head about asking for a Ss # and dismissed the ticket.

Will not do anything about the barking dogs in our neighborhood, picked up my dog in my neighbors yard and didn't call me or try to return my dog (with a collar/tag on) until after taking him in and charging me $900. Calls to the supervisor we're not returned. Guys that work there are rude and don't care. This place is a JOKE.

What an absolute joke of an office PERIOD! It takes at minimum 15-20+ minutes to get a hold of anyone and all you get is a incompetent answering service that can't communicate not even a drop of info!

I took my Mom's sweet little old dog to be put to sleep here and they were really great! The staff here are very caring and thoughtful!
