This store (pharmacy)is incredibly UNreliable. I've been trying for a wk to fill my prescriptions. I call to confirm I'm told they're not ready. Pickup the same afternoon. They're not ready. Mind you these are heart medication and consistency and scheduling are essential for the best results for these meds. I've called been assured the prescriptions were ready. When I reached the store a few minutes after the call I was told the meds aren't ready somebody in the pharmacy is having some trouble. The next day the same prescription that had been filled 2 days prior was out of stock. So they are ready they are not ready they are out of stock. I was overdue by then it finally got filled almost 2weeks after the original request. Now I am told my prescriptions are ready. I go to pick up and this time they need Dr to approve my already prepared order this is ongoing to date. It's been three days the orders have been filled declined filled again and not ready. Something is wrong with that place the closest other pharm is a 5 mile walk so I'm sort o f stuck id like to know what authority is oversight for theses places

The pharmacy isn't open on the weekends and their new "policy" is to wait until you show up to pick up your prescription and then make you wait 20-30 minutes to pick it up instead of filling it as they are called in. I waited 2-3 days after my prescription was called in to pick it up and this is the third time in a row that I've had to wait in the store while it's being filled. They did fill it quickly after I complained so I do appreciate that but if you understaffed then please hire more people, it's been like this for months.

Sherry at this pharmacy is the most unhelpful and unkind person I’ve ever met. She doesn’t care about anyone or any struggles. The pharmacy NEVER has prescriptions ready. The pharmacist doesn’t care and none of them take their jobs at all seriously. I will never recommend anyone here. We are transferring.

This is my pharmacy, I switched to Rite Aid when CVS took over Owens (I loved them) Candace is the best individual pharmacist I have had! She is knowledgeable, fast and friendly. Always courteous and helps in any way she can.The pharmacy itself is WAY UNDER STAFFED !! I find myself taking on what I can do on my end with my refills and doctor communication to try to take some of the burden off the staff. But I don't mind and I do that on my own.

Divan who works in the pharmacy is not only completely uncaring but gives inaccurate information. When I told him I was switching pharmacies because he told me my other prescription would be ready in 20 minutes which wasn’t true, didn’t even have it in stock. I said I was switching pharmacies because this wasn’t okay to give inaccurate information he sneered and replied “go for it” complete jerk. One of the WORST customer services ever. I’d have fired him right then if I could have. Ridiculous. Walgreens on lake is much better and prescriptions can be feivered to your home. Rite aid in Shasta Lake is trash.

Oh my goodness the pharmacy is so bad. I wouldn't go unless you plan on getting your patience tested and you wanna get ticked off. I went for drive thru COVID test, got there a few minutes before my scheduled time and gave them my confirmation number and email. Waited in my vehicle for 30 minutes just to have the rotund woman tell me to go home and call a 1-800 number. After reading all the bad reviews waiting in my vehicle I really realized I made a bad choice coming here. Told the rotund lady I don't want the phone number and their pharmacy really sucks. Rotund lady calls me an A#$ hole and I go back home after wasting an hour of my life. So just don't go here it's as bad as everyone says it's kinda sad and hard to watch. Something is really wrong here don't do it lol.

What a SAD SAD place. Went in to get a flu shot on a Saturday. Pharmacy CLOSED!!!! LIKE WHAT! I've been going here for 10 years for my flu shot going elsewhere now. SAD that your pharmacy is closed ALL WEEKEND! Makes it difficult for those working Monday through Friday. Only 2 employees place was like a cemetery. Are you closing this location? I gave the store 1 star but you don't deserve that.

This pharmacy is probably the worst. They’ll say your prescription is ready and then you show up not even 40 minutes later to pick up, wait in their abnormally long lines (drive thru is permanently closed) and then they tell you your prescription isn’t ready.

This is the most worthless waste of time pharmacy I have ever been to. They can't keep employees for some reason, I can't imagine why? Being Sarcastic of course. I absolutely hate this place. You go there and they say your prescription will be ready at whatever o'clock. You go back and they say we never said that. So they say ok, it will be ready at whatever o'clock. You go back and they say we didn't tell you it would be ready. You call them to make sure it's ready, they say yes it's ready, you drive down there and they say it's not ready and they don't know who you talked to, but no one there knows anything about it. We had a "special" prescription for liquid ibuprofen because our son broke his collar bone. Not sure how it is special, but the Dr wanted him to take liquid so he could get the exact dose prescribed. They said, it will be here and ready tomorrow afternoon. Can you guess what happened? I went there and once again they say that we never spoke to anyone there and the medecine is so hard to get that they will have to special order it and they are not sure that they can even get it. We have given them chance after chance because it is the only pharmacy in Shasta Lake City, but from now on I will just use the Walgreens in Redding. At least if they make a mistake or forget to get your prescription ready, they apologize and promptly fix the mistake.

This is hands down the worst rite aid I’ve ever had to deal with. We moved from Redding to Shasta lake city and transferred our prescriptions over from the Eureka way rite aid. They never answer the phone they continuously screw up our orders and they randomly close early all the time. Short on staffing? Who knows but that’s no excuse. We will be transferring back to Eureka way rite aid. It’s worth the drive to get some half decent customer service.

In the 8 years I have lived in Shasta Lake not once have they had my prescription ready when I've gone to pick it up. It should not take days and days and multiple calls to the Dr's office to get my medications. I'll go to Walgreens from now on. Rude little jerk at the counter too.

My local store of choice! I have frequented this Rite Aid since I moved to Shasta Lake in 2011. Always greeted kindly, always provided helpful assistance. I joined the wellness club and get 20% off most everything! Clean, well stocked store, clean bathrooms even. From my experience this is a very well ran store.

The Shasta Lake store is known for their varities of ice cream served by their employees. Their employees are very friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of foods and other products. You won't be disappointed. I have never used the pharmacy because my drug insurance doesn't cover Rite Aid. We love this store.

Worst pharmacy ever. I moved to Shasta Lake about a year ago and have had my prescription filled at the Rite Aid ever since. Out of all of those refills they’ve only had it ready on time once. Normally it takes 5 or 6 days after I call the refill in and usually two or more trips to the pharmacy counter. The usual excuse is “sorry we ran out of pills” come back tomorrow. The service is horrible. I once waited in the waiting room for over an hour and have been on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up. I thought this pharmacy would be most convenient for me but I’ve been proven wrong. I’m not the only one with this option, just check out this location’s reviews and you can tell something is horribly wrong.

The sign said 11.99 if you buy two.for modelo negra 12 pack . They charged 15.99. I went back in because my bill seemed to high . I showed them the sign he said or the small print said a day late. Why is their stupid sign still up there. Very upsetting store, the only reason I go to that store is for beer. Never again for anything!

Thanks to pharmacist Candice who went way above and beyond her role last week to help take care of my in-laws medication needs. After they were both displaced from the salt fire in Lakehead. She took the time to help us get them their medications replaced due to they left theirs at home. And without her help and kindness I don’t know what we would have done. Thank you Candice for such caring, compassionate kind thoughtful acts. It’s because of people like you that makes a situation like this a lot easier to deal with. Thank you is not enough.

Friendly staff.Lovely,helpful ladies in the pharmacy and front cashiers!Love the garden section miss the shoe selection( slippers n flip flops).Maybe its a good thing tho..I have wayy too many pairs of flip flops 😝Keep up the excellent customer service!

Every phone interaction with them has been awful- worst customer service. A couple months ago I had a prescription for my son and I called trying to see if it was ready. I pressed the extension to talk to someone in the pharmacy, when someone finally picked up the rudely said "are you with a draw office?", I said no and the put me on hold... for 15 minutes. Someone picked up, asked me the same question, and when I said I wasn't with a dr and that I pressed the correct extension, they rudely said they were busy and put me back on hold, for another 10 minutes before the hung up on me. This happened theree times where they responded that way and then hung up after putting me on hold. I finally had to just go in and check to see if they got our prescription.I had another prescription today that my dr said they sent in- I gave it a couple hours and then called to see if they got it and if it was ready. She said the pharmacist needed to check the phone line and to give her a minute. 25 minutes later she gets on and says they are busy and haven't had time to check their messages-and asked that I give her my number for her to call me when they do. I gave them 4 hours and never got a call. I then called again. By this time it was after the doctors office had closed, and she told me my prescription wasn't on the phone line and that if they faxed it they didn't get it because their fax has been broken. They couldn't have said that earlier? I could've checked with my dr before they closed. So incredibly frustrated.

Two employees at register....were deep in a conversation.I walked over to ask a question...I stood in front of them patiently waiting for them to end their conversation....after a few minutes I walked away....they immediately ended their conversation. The gentleman walked after me and offered assistance. I completed my business...but was somewhat upset....with the lack of service

Great people who offer help in every department you need assistance. I buy milk here, some grocery and snack items. Gardening items are great and I enjoy shopping for every holiday. Plenty of cards from more than Hallmark. Pharmacy stays stocked as well as over the counter needs. Only place I know of to buy Thrifty brand Ice cream too.

I will call their automatic system to ask for refills. It says that my order will be ready the next business day. It never is. I've waited 4 or 5 days before for them to be ready. They don't answer phones. There is one tech working there. That person works both the drive thru and the front window. It takes forever. I've waited in drive thru for 20 minutes. Very frustrating!!

Try to pick something up in the pharmacy and the lady was so rude! She even was putting her hands up in the air telling me to go away because I didn’t see the drive-through sign that was closed and I waited there for 10 minutes for no reason. she said their sign fell down and wouldn’t help me. Newly remodeled store, very bright and fresh looking. Much nicer aisles and displays. Friendly staff. Right off the freeway, so perfect for people grabbing beers, snacks, essentials, before heading to the lake. Ice cream stand inside store.

Worst pharmacy ever and getting worse every single day I have had the same prescriptions for 6 months sent to this pharmacy... my prescription was due tomorrow since they are closed I asked them 1 week ago to fill it today they said not a problem I showed up ro get my prescription was told to sit and wait and it would be filled an hour goes by and I'm get back in line to ask what's going on and then they decide to tell me they no longer have enough to fill my prescription and that I have to wait til Monday... I told them I would be out by tomorrow and they said I don't know what to tell u SERIOUSLY WORST PHARMACY EVER WITH THE WORST PHARMACIST EVER... I'm not transferring all of my prescriptions put of this pharmacy and away from their incompetent pharmacist!

If I could give minus stars I would. This place never has the stuff ready when they say. This time at 8:30 in the morning they said two hours. I come in at 5 pm and it isn't ready. They tell me to sit down. It will be ten minutes. Need it for a procedure in the morning. So here I still sit.
