We saw the Peppermint Brownie Ice Cream Taco in Sonoma Magazine, and were excited about going to get one. What a disappointment when we tried this "treat."DON'T get one of these ice cream tacos from Two Dog Night. I bought one yesterday for $8 and it was half-melted when they handed it to me. It was wrapped in stiff plastic, so it was difficult to know if it was solid or liquid, but when I sat down to open it, I realized that the ice cream had almost completely melted and the cone was soggy. I had asked about whether it should have some liquid in it and assumed that it was soft because it was some sort of mint topping. The girls behind the counter didn't answer me one way or another and they appeared to be distracted by something other than their customers. I can't believe they sold it to me like that. They looked in a couple of freezer/refrigerators down near the floor before they found one for me. I had expected it to be freshly made, but this one appeared to have been sitting around for days in what was clearly a not-cold-enough freezer. Don't buy these. What a rip-off, poor and careless service, and unhygienic food. I'm done with Two Dog Night. Stay away from this place. They'll serve you garbage if given the chance.

The ice cream is good, but for the price it really isn't worth it. Also, they won't let you taste anything. If I'm going to pay $9 for ice cream, I would really like to make sure I'm going to like the flavor. Surely the $9 per person could cover 1-2 tastes; you'd think that would be built into their cost model.I know the ice cream is made with nitrogen, but other than that, there's nothing too different about it. They do have some unique flavors. The thai flavor was really good.

“High quality ice cream without flavor”The ice cream was underwhelming because the flavor was lacking.I got the chocolate lover’s sundae take away: chocolate chips should never go on ice cream and the brownie was dry.The best part of the experience was the fact that they had a vegan ice cream option, which was made of Cashews milk and was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. But even the taste of the vegan ice cream was underwhelming.Plus there were no tasters available. :’(Dietary restrictions: Cashew nut milk ice cream

At Two Dog Night creamery, I walked by and saw “Banana foster crunch”. Say no more, you already have me. This ice cream is made with liquid nitrogen, but they make batches in the morning rather than made to order. It was super delicious and one of the best banana ice creams I have ever had. I was super happy with this ice cream.

Very delicious and flavorful. No samples. Cones were amazing and fresh. I’d come back again for sure.

No sampling policy, however they are willing to make a new cone. Which is way more wasteful than washing spoons… We couldn’t buy a toddler portion as a sample either since I’m, unfortunately, not toddler.Eventually we chose the vegan cardamom, which we didn’t like; Threw it out after one bite. Hopefully they change their policy and/or buy reusable cutlery like everyone else

After a lunch of tacos stopped to try their special ice cream that's made with co2. I had choc hazelenut wafer and mint chocolate, delicious is all I can say. They have lots of flavors to choose from so everybody should be able to find one they like. Can do cups or cones plus they have lots of toppings. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff plus locally owned.

People complain about the price but I think it's okay for the value of the ice cream. My only complaint is that they constantly run out of toddler cones. In business it is always better to have it and not need it as opposed as these toddler cones which are always running out. It is very disappointing.

Been wanting to go here for a while and finally made the trip this evening. The ice cream….is just ok. I got the sundae with brownies and banana foster ice cream. I love banana ice cream and this was a big miss for me, unfortunately. The ice cream is smooth and creamy, a little on the sweet side but I didn’t taste much banana and it just lacked flavor. Banana ice cream is hard to find so when a place carries it i usually get it. The brownie pieces I am assuming were bought in bulk and offered nothing to the Sundae…the mini chocolate chips were a little on the older side (coating on the outside). For a place that is charging a decent amount for this ice cream I kind of expected something a bit more special. there are a few other amazing ice cream shops locally and this is one I unfortunately won’t be coming back to. They have a great selection and the staff was nice which is always a plus.

Wanted to try this place for a while now, I went in knowing that this ice cream was on the more expensive side. I, however, was disappointed in the quality of the ice cream compared to the price. I had a chocolate taco, which came with a layer of ice crystals and ice cream on the edge of freeze burnt. The ice cream was fine but not worth the hefty price tag overall. I enjoyed trying something new but don't see myself returning in the future due to the price to quality of the product, especially compared to other local "gourmet" shops.

Good, creamy ice cream if you can follow the rules. The most deeply stingy business practices I’ve ever encountered at an ice cream shop. If you’re charging $7 for a single scoop of ice cream you can afford samples for those who ask (signage points to no), more than one single spoon per pint (contrary to the sign that implores otherwise) and no surcharge for credit cards (also signposted). Seriously, who does that? Save yourself the printing for all these rules-based signs or raise prices and offer the enjoyable premium ice cream experience we came for!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Two Dog Night Creamery is amazing, and it smells fantastic! They have great flavors, great toppings and good prices. My husband and I got 2 scoops in a waffle bowl to share (cinnamon and banana with sprinkles and marshmallow sauce) and it was more than enough for two. The scoops are generously sized, so are the amount of toppings and sauces. Not to mention, they even have color changing spoons!

Ordered the chocolate peanut butter ice cream, it was delicious. It was $4 for one scoop. The previous company here was Sub Zero.

Great flavors and selections of ice cream. They have waffle cones and bowls also they have banana splits too. Try their vegan ice cream, it will seriously surprise you. I'm not vegan or anything I just was curious and it seriously never disappoints! I've ordered almost every other time I go, everything there is great!

We hunted them down in the corner of the Barlow because we were in the mood for ice cream, but when we saw the pricetags, we almost walked right out: $7 for a "standard" serving? But we stuck around to see if they had special flavors or something. Nope. Pretty typical-looking ice cream, being served as a tiny scoop in a miniscule cup. When I saw people with those cups, I thought maybe there was a "sample size" or something? Nope. That's the $7 serving. So, between the out-if-touch prices and and completely pleb flavors, we walked out, never to return.

Always delicious, the flavors are really clean, and never overly sweet. Bananas foster and coffee heath bar are our go-to flavors, but we haven't had a flavor yet we didn't like. Especially like the fall apple pie flavor- genuinely tastes like really good homemade apple pie. Yum!

You have to try this place!!!!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤They make their own ice cream and have super yummy flavors!!!!!! I like that they also have a few vegan flavors. Last time I was in they had avacado ice cream which was a lot better than I thought. I like that they usually have a couple non typical flavors; one time they had lavender, the avocado....anyways over all great place, great staff, amazing owner and the best flavors ever!!!!! My favorite right now is this pretzel caramel cream 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤. Plus prices are good and you’ll be supporting your local businesses.

Wanted to like this place. My dad got the peppermint taco and was excited about it. What he got was half melted in the wrapper when they handed it to him. Really disappointing.I got the cookie dough almond taco and it was not very tasty. Shell was soggy.

The vegan cashew ice cream is made right in front of you and it was so creamy good. The toppings are generous and the staff was very friendly. We went back two days in a row!

This place is quickly becoming a destination spot for me. They've got quite a few dairy-free options in case you're into that, and dairy or not I have yet to experience ice cream more tasty than this stuff. Try the key lime, it's unreal! Also, Google will tell you that Sub Zero still exists within the Barlow, however this is where Sub Zero was before it became Two Dog Night. The nice lady inside told me :D

Great ice cream and friendly staff. The Sebastopol Barlow district has some great eats. Pass on the desert at dinner and hit this place during an after dinner stroll.

My first time coming her and it was absolutely fantastic. I’d give it a 10 out of 5 stars if I could. Some of the best ice cream I’ve tasted for a while and great service. Definitely will be coming back soon!

Saw this place from a distance and instantly craved some ice cream. We were all huge fans of what we ordered and you can tell the quality of the ingredients. The first topping is free was also a nice plus.
