Region was the highlight of our day. Tons of options to choose from, they had a winemaker doing pours of their new selection , and the staff is top notch.Best of all you can get food delivered from the local restaurants. We loved the vibe here, and it used to be a dog friendly place.Definitely come with friends to hangout, or just read a book. It’s a fantastic wine and food experience.

I love this place! It's fun to go in and taste all sorts of different wines from different winemakers both large and small. Plus, the place is really well designed; lovely and light with a terrific staff to match! I enjoy grabbing food from other places in the Barlow and plopping down at Region. and enjoying a fabulous environment and tasting experience with these super lovely people and yummy wines!

Our time at Region was amazing! We had a group of 30 women who got together for a formal Women’s Workshop. Brittani was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the space and made our event run smoothly. The venue was a hit with everyone in attendance. The wine featured a great experience for our attendees. I cant thank the venue enough for making my event a huge success! 10/10 recommend.

I traveled from Norway to experience the hidden gem that is the wine bar in Sebastopol, California, and I must say it was an unforgettable journey. The ambiance of the wine bar was nothing short of enchanting. Its cozy and rustic setting made it the perfect place to unwind and savor some exceptional wines.The wine selection was a pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of local wines. The staff's knowledge and friendliness were truly appreciated. They guided us through the wine choices with expertise and even shared some fascinating stories about the local wine scene.In conclusion, my visit to Region was a highlight of my trip, and I'm incredibly grateful for the exceptional experience it offered. I'll cherish the memories and hope to return someday.

I had SO much fun here! Such a neat place and I loved getting to try different types of wines. The atmosphere is really relaxing with options for indoor and outdoor seating. You can also get really tasty pizza and other food nearby. The employees were super friendly and overall, it’s just a really cute place. Highly recommend; I can’t wait to come back!

Region is always the best. Great staff, great vibe, great selection of local wines.Great for a date night or to hang out with friends. they feature different wineries each week and the wine makers sometimes make an appearance so it’s a great opportunity to connect with local wine makers.

One of the best wine bars in the country, and we’ve been to many. You can taste small Pinot Noir producers without going to the wineries - and all in one place. They have 50+ wines on tap, and they’re all local. Scherrer, Viluko, Gary Ferrell, and many more. We liked this place so much that we went there 5x in the 2 months that we lived in the area. The wine dinners are special as well - and an opportunity to meet and interact with the winemakers. I attended the Valentines Day dinner, and it had outstanding food and wine.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

Rotation of featured local wineries is a very innovative business plan to keep the offerings fresh. We also like the self-serve wine dispensary system that provides a selection of 50 wines from a tasting to a glass. So cool. No kitchen, but they’ve partnered with restaurants in The Barlow to provide easy access to menus using a QR code and delivery to your table at Region.They just opened last week and we wish them the best of fortunes. The staff (and an owner we spoke with) are welcoming, attentive, and friendly. We’ll be back to enjoy a different local winery and the friendly atmosphere.

They have a relatively unique wine tasting option on a card system which was working great but then ran into system wide card reading failure. Pricing for tasting was a little much but guess you are also paying for the availability. Great option to try many wines from the "region" but hope they can resolve their connectivity issues.

Conceptually this wine bar is our absolute favorite. We love the idea of taking a taste or more of the 50+ offerings on tap or the sparkling being hand poured. As a couple who are also in the wine business, we think of Region as our “wine club” where the variety is exceptional, the atmosphere is perfectly art directed and the people who work there are always friendly and knowledgeable. Located in the Barlow is an added bonus for dining, art, and shopping which makes Region an overall unique experience, and like no other tasting room in Sonoma County.

Wow what a perfect way to spend a Covid-day in the finally fresh air! Worth a trip and absolutely worth a stop if you're nearby.Region is a new wine tasting concept - they carry all local wines (from the region... get it) that don't have their own tasting rooms. Lots of great finds and some delicious tastings.It's all self service. You get a card (for $2.99) and go to what's essentially a vending machine, put in your card and choose the size of your pour - 1oz, 2.5oz, 5oz, or a bottle. Each wine tasting is priced differently.Region is inside The Barlow, a cute outdoor mall area with restaurants, wineries. Best of all, you can order food at Region from the other restaurants and they'll deliver it to you for free! We spent several hours in the sun, enjoying the wine and snacking on food.Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Last minute trip to wine country? This place is so comfy and a great way to try wines from several area wineries! It is located right in the Barlow so we were able to stroll around after we enjoyed a tasting and check out some of the shops. Very open air so no worrying about enclosed places, plenty of space to spread out!

A girlfriend and I went to Region to check it out... and what a fun, beautiful, cool place to meet friends! Once registered, you get a card that you insert into any of the many wine choices--a whole wall of wines. You choose and put your wine glass under the pourer and push the amount of ounces that you would like. They also highlight a wine brand each week. Food from restaurants in the area can be ordered and delivered to you. A Perfect place in the Barlow, Sebastopol Ca. to socialize with wine and friends!

Region is a fun place with dozens of wine available via Coravin (so you can do a small taste, or a full glass). I've discovered a few of my now favorite wines there. Plus, you can order food from the surrounding restaurants in the Barlow. I also tried one of their paired wine tasting dinners, which they schedule periodically.

This will become a new favorite for us. Self-serve tastings from a variety of local wineries, and food from some unique adjoining eateries in the Barlow. Lots of outdoor seating, friendly staff, and even an owner from one of the wineries pouring glasses. Highly recommend!

Region was, quite frankly, a breath of fresh air! A winery that has an attentive staff and a "self-serve" style of wine tasting was perfect for our group. Sometimes, you just want to try different wines without a ton of information and just see if you like the wine! There were plenty of varietals and you get to pick how many ounces of any wine you choose! OH, and I also got the T-shirt! Loved it all!

This place is awesome! You have an opportunity to try wines from little boutique wineries. By the taste, by the glass, or by the bottle. Service is very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is relaxing. Will definitely go back. Oh, and the BEST Pinot Noir I have ever had.

Amazing new wine bar with a great selection of local wines and an innovative self-serve wine dispensing system. They have a great back patio with very spaced out tables for safe distancing, unpretentious and friendly staff, and most importantly, a noble mission of helping smaller local winemakers to showcase their products. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.
