Just went here yesterday and I already want to plan another visit. Muir's Tea Room is phenomenal! They were so kind and accommodating to our group, making sure to check in advance if anyone had gluten free needs. The tea was delicious and they have so many flavors to choose from. The food was incredible and everything was vegan. I was so stuffed afterwards. The power kept going on and off because of the storm but the staff continued to be cheerful and helpful throughout! Many thanks to Muir's for making my birthday so special.

I absolutely love this place!!! I have had the pleasure to visit this sweet vegan tea eatery three times and plan to keep visiting. The vegan pastries, small finger sandwiches and other vegan sweets are out of this world! Super delicious and of course the tea selection is beyond good. I highly recommend this vegan tea tasting experience. We all had a fantastic time, plus the little shop carries cards and keepsakes. The little tea cups and decorative dish-ware were adorable.. I met the owner who is super friendly and hospitable. The entire experience is worth every penny. I will definitely keep returning to this little vegan gem in Sebastopol. They offer catered events and private tea parties on the side which sounds fun. The ambiance and seating area is filled with warmth and love. Grateful for my experiences at this cute tea house and grateful that it’s all Vegan- plant based menu.

It was an amazing experience! They are so hospitable and super accommodating- all the staff were very kind and attentiveThe Alice in Wonderland themed high tea experience was carefully curated, so much magic in the details. The attention to detail from the themed menu, presentation of each food item, table scape, dish ware, tea sets, ambiance and music made for a magical experience. They had a lot of cool items in the gift shop as well! Everyone at my table loved their tea selections. We will return for another visit :)

Absolutely worth the money, we had such a fun time and the food was delicious. The pastries were artfully done and tasted great. Our server was attentive and kind. The owner Christine went above and beyond for customer satisfaction; we received so many complimentary treats, you can see the passion and dedication she has for her business. Beautiful garden and rooms, it feels like you’re in you’re own little world tucked away in Sebastopol. 10/10 experience, the photos were so fun too and Christine offered to take some of my friend and I so we had some together. Get dressed up with your friends and come to Muir’s Tea Room, you won’t regret it ;) Also check out the gift shop, great prices and wide variety.

This is my second time at Muir's Tea Room and it did not disappoint! The first time I came to the Tea and Tarot evening which was incredible...this time, we came for the Scottish Highlands afternoon tea and had a wonderful time as well! Everything was delicious!!! The staff were so friendly and Christine, the owner, was so sweet and kind... thank you! I can't wait to come back!!!

Blown away!I've had twice take out special tea features!Really waiting on the Harry Potter one!The location is very cute! They have indoor and outdoor dining.The whole tea from start to finish id delicious.I can not lie, I favored the savory items a bit more.Definitely recommend!Don't forget it's all vegan!

I've been to Muir's twice and I can't recommend it enough.Delicious tea, amazing pastries, fun atmosphere and very kind staff. Plus, it is all vegan! Yes!The pictures included are from the Harry Potter themed high tea that Muir's put on in November of 2018.

Truly one of the best places I’ve been all year! My friend and I came for the Valentine’s high tea all the way from Sacramento, it was worth the drive and every penny. I’ve been vegan for a few years and have never found anywhere else that is so effortlessly plant based and with such variety. The atmosphere is lovely and homey with the kindest staff that make you feel like you’ve just been invited over to someone’s house for tea. I look forward to returning someday soon! 💌

Who knew visiting a vegan tea room could be a profound and almost spiritual experience?! Thank you Muir's for the absolutely MAGICAL afternoon we spent in your sanctuary of kindness, compassion and love. High tea is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE things, and it's almost impossible to find a vegan version, but thank the universe, Muir's exists, and we planned a visit to Sebastopol around it. We were lucky enough to visit during the Harry Potter Extravaganza, and the thoughtfully crafted menu featured everything from butterbeer to Hagrid's wild stoat tea sandwich to a golden chocolate frog! Such a delight!When the tea service came out, I was beside myself with joy. Everything was enchanting -- both beautiful and absolutely delicious! It totally exceeded my expectations.For those of us who long for a kinder world, Muir's is an oasis.Thank you, Muir's Tea Room, for existing. Places like this are what I imagine the world can be, in my sweetest dreams.

Beyond happy to have found this place with everything plant based on the menu. We were lucky to have gotten a reservation for garden dining which was extremely beautiful. All the delicacies on the High Tea menu were great and the host was extremely welcoming. Not to forget the pretty packaging of the food. All the Covid protocols are being followed.

The food was enjoyable. Let's have some less processed options. The salad was good but some leaves were crushed or wilted, not sure which. One entree option and it is $65 for a group of small items nicely presented. It is fine if you are wealthy and appreciate the frufru / novelty. I can get a fantastic vegan meal at Cozy Plum for less than half the price but with are more conventional, easy going atmosphere.Vegetarian options: All vegan.Dietary restrictions: All vegan.Kid-friendliness: Child friendly books and a few similar gift options.

These are not only the best vegan cupcakes I have ever had, they are the best cupcakes PERIOD. I traveled 2 hours to pick these up for my husbands birthday and it was so worth it! We were so impressed. Not only are the desserts delicious but the staff is outstanding as well. Everyone was so warm and gracious and the shop is absolutely darling. There simply aren’t enough adjectives to describe how happy we are to have found Muir’s Tea Room! This is one of most unique and spectacular things you do in California. The place itself is an inspiringly quaint cottage-esque house where you have a 100% plant based high tea in what feels like a living room. The food is spectacular and from the second you sit down to when you (unfortunately) get up to leave, you are treated like a guest in someone’s home.Please indulge in one of the best places in California, let alone in Sebastopol, and have an amazing high tea service while you’re at it! You will never regret it!

Worst experience of my life. Staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable, super argumentative, and super rude. Manager was very unprofessional , and just wanted to argue about the problem versus help.I felt really discriminated against , just for having food allergies, I was also told I was not welcome.Would not recommend to anyone .Hopefully a new tea room can open up that’s more welcoming to everyone.

No need to travel all the way to England, this is the real deal — reviewed by a Brit! Phenomenal authentic atmosphere in the beautiful garden, the cakes, scones and sandwiches are absolutely superb, and the tea blends and selection are truly excellent. The staff are so warm and welcoming. The perfect treat. The best afternoon tea experience of my life!

Called to check on a reservation and the manager was really pretentious and rude. I asked her name and she refused to tell me. I asked to speak with the owner and at first she told me that the owner was too busy to speak with me, then she put me on hold and I could hear her saying rude comments about me to her coworkers. Instead of offering an apology the owner made excuses. I’m so turned off and super disappointed. I really wanted to go here. Bummed and honestly feeling yucky because of the way I was spoken to.

Muir's Tea Room is amazing. Everything I ordered today was fabulous! The sandwiches were super fresh and yummy. We all loved the veggie version of "smoked salmon". The lunch came with instructions to reheat the pastries and they all tasted like they were JUST baked. Their shortbread is to die for and very hard to believe there's no butter because they are so incredibly buttery. Their presentation is wonderful too! Such attention to detail! Order from here. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful gem. I was not aware this was a vegan tea house but dont let that scare you away. Everything was delicious and we will be returning in october for the Halloween decor and themed tea. A tea-time bridal shower for my daughter was hosted here. Christine could not have been more gracious in accommodating our large group, plus two young children and a guest who required a gluten-free nut-free meal. The food and tea were delicious! service excellent. The setting was charming and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event. Thank you, Christine and staff for a wonderful afternoon.
