We came here on a rainy day and the man who greeted us said the fields were very muddy so we needed to watch our step. It was off season but it was rather nice with the clouds looming and occasionally sending hail our way.The man was nice enough to let us walk around the hills for a bit with our umbrellas as he watched us with concern. There were lavender products for sale inside the store, as well as a bathroom.

I visited Monte Bellaria with friends and we fell in love with it! The lavender smelled amazing as we strolled along the trail. The staff was super friendly and professional, showing real care for the lavender farm and bees, not just for profit. They had clear rules and signs everywhere. We took the mini tour and learned a lot. There's also a cute gift store and snack bar. We grabbed some teas and coffees after the tour and enjoyed them at a picnic table. The blueberry lavender tea is a must-try!Overall, our visit to Monte Bellaria was an unforgettable one and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

We had an amazing experience at the farm. The lavender field is very pretty and the tour guide provides a lot of great information about lavender, bees, and essencial oils. I learned so much! Everybody at the farm is extremely welcoming, kind, and very open to answering questions and explaining the rules. The gift shop is amazing too! And don’t forget to try the hot citrus lavender tea, it makes the experience even more perfect!! We definitely want to go back soon!

Wonderful experience. It starts with a tour where awesome manager Eric explains everything about lavenders: what type of lavender they have in the farm, the harvest seasons, how they extract the oil, etc. It is literally a class! I learned a lot. After this you can go in the fields and see the lavenders so close with a lot of bees. They also have a shop where you can buy essential lavender oil, bouquets etc. The store manager Bill is a fabulous person and very knowledgeable, you'll learn a lot. Last, they also have a small cafe with levender tea that is awesome as well, the lady that runs the cafeteria is very welcoming. In a nutshell: just go, awesome place!

Super rude owner. Stay away! They don't have much lavender here, and each visit is super short compared to how remote this place is, a huge waste of money and time. If I can give it zero star I would. I visited here back in July this year, and just had time to review it. The owner is quick to claim my review fake, not surprised by it since we know how rude, condescending and utterly disrespectful of customers and their feedback the owners are. Stay away!

Was worry about the drought problem and its effect on the bloom, but it was absolutely beautiful and the place is filled with mild fragrance of lavender.the farm shop was small but it has quality products. i got some bitters and soap as gifts and for personal use.they are very strict on starting and ending on time, so please do yourself a favor and get there early, u would rather wait in the car or walk around before getting into the field than only have a few minutes to take everything in.Another photo tip/hack i observed was that get a bundle of lavender at the shop as prop to take photo! i wish i did that before i took my round and took all the beautiful pictures.highly recommend this place, would like to visit there again!

We toured this lovely lavender farm in full bloom. The entire experience was excellent. The people working at this farm have a true love for this gorgeous farm. They are all very friendly and informative about the growing and propagating of their amazing smelling lavender. This place is a true gem you will definitely want to make a reservation for a tour. I cant wait to go back for a tour during the distillation of essential oil as well. Also this area is rich with other farms to visit so make a day of it, slow down and enjoy!!

My family and I were all excited to go see the lavender fields for the first time and Monte-Bellaria did not fail us. It was a lovely sight! The day was perfect, too. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Learned a lot about the bees as well. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to do a photo shoot, I highly recommend Monte-Bellaria. Thank you Bill and staff!

We got the private picnic area, and it was just perfect! The weather, the company, and the fragrance all made for the perfect day. Bill gave us the private tour and it was very cool! I got to learn about making the oils, the way the colors change based on temperature and the honey bees and how they produce honey... which is most delicious thanks to the lavender flowers. We were lucky enough to be the last group of the season (one month break) as they harvest and make oils into December and January. I can't recommend this farm enough.

In my opinion this is the most beautiful lavender field in Northern California. Been here twice and the views of Napa Valley are unbeatable. The owner is very nice and the on-site guide is knowledgeable about the lavender and their bees. They also sell many products infused with their lavender and honey which are made on-site. Only $10 for a tour which is great.

Our family spent a lovely time there. The lavender is so beautiful! We took lots of pictures for my family! We booked a private picnic area, there is a big picnic table under a big shade, it is quiet and you can view the entire lavender field in that picnic area! In addition, the owner is so nice, we lost some personal stuff in the field, and they help mailed back to us! I highly recommended this place especially you are photo lover.

The people in the store were amazing! They were polite, nice, and helpful, earning a 5-star rating! However, our overall experience was ruined by an arrogant farm manager. We drove for 3 hours and arrived around 3:15 PM, only to discover that the farm closed at 3:45 PM. If you're looking to take lavender photos during the summer, it's a waste of time as the bright sunlight will wash out all the colors. The farm manager was adamant about the closing time and kicked us out promptly at 4 PM. It's unclear if the owner of the farm knows what's happening with visitors who pay $30 to visit.

Such a gorgeous place...lavender as far as the eye can see and the fragrance is heavenly. Also offets a very educational tour regarding all things lavender and bees. The farm store has lovely quality products. All in all, a very special, up lifting experience. I go every year.

Simply amazing! Beautiful lavender fields and very well maintained property. There are a lot of opportunities to take good pictures even if they prohibit you from walking in the rows. Pro tip: go to the store and buy fresh cut lavender to use as a prop. Also make sure to bring a hat and sunscreen since it gets pretty hot under the sun. They sell a variety of products in the gift shop. We purchased the body butter, moisturizing cream, and honey. We are satisfied with our purchase. Bill, the shop attendant, was a friendly person and very knowledgable. We will be coming back next year. This was an experience we cannot forget.Note: they are very strict with the times, but 90 minutes is plenty to see the property and walk around. You really don't need any more, just make sure to arrive promptly.

It was a terrible visit where the tour guide was extremely unreasonable and impolite, demanding that we leave in a threatening tone. We paid a total of $60 for the tour, which did not reach 75 minutes. Despite apologizing and promising to comply with the rules, the guide continued to warn us in an aggressive manner and insisted on immediate departure. I find this unacceptable and even perceive it as discrimination towards Asians. The conversation involved serious verbal intimidation and harassment, and I fail to comprehend how such an unprofessional management approach can persist. I strongly advise everyone not to waste their time visiting this lavender estate as it is not worth it.

My family and I visited the Lavender farm this summer. We enjoyed every minute and had a great time. It is beautiful. We are now a customer buying their balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The visit to Monte-bellaria is worth it. You will love it!

The owner is very offensive and unfriendly. I think some other visitors have already pointed that out. We paid for this trip but he didn’t even let me use the bathroom after and asked me to find another one. I’m uncomfortable with the way he talks. Think twice before you go if you don’t want your day to be ruined. Also the farm closes very early so it’s hard to get a nice pic with that strong sunshine in the afternoon. Some other lavender farm opens from 6 to 9 pm so if you are a photographer I would recommend checking other farms.

Very rude management and discrimination. We haven’t used the whole hour then the staff kicked us out. We paid over hundred of dollars and totally respected the field plants but staff shouted to us for stepping a little bit into the field. We understood we shouldn’t and saw others did that but the attitude or language from staff Eric was not acceptable.

This is the second year I've gone to these beautiful, well maintained lavender fields and they were just as stunning as I'd remembered. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Brief tour of production and a glimpse of the bees in action in their hive. We wandered around the fields keeping to the paths. We were not rushed and there is in fact a couple areas of shade as well as bench or two. It's a reasonable price for the area and for how much work goes into keeping these lavender fields going and open to the public during Covid and a severe draught. Bravo Monte-Bellaria! I felt like I was back in Provence.

This is my third year is a row I’ve visited the fields during high bloom season. I bring a different friend each year, everyone loves it. Great people and products too. I always bring home the Monte-Bellaria Lavender Sea Salt Scrub and Lavender Body Butter, and more.

Lavender is okay, but the staff is rude, hostile, unaccommodating, unwelcoming, and offensive (continue to read or see multiple previous posts by others to find out more). If you wish to experience lavender in a calm, relaxed environment, give other farms like Araceli Farm a try.The total ticketed time is only 75 minutes for $20/ppl. The tour itself took 30 min. At the end of time slot, they expect you make it back to parking lot as soon as they ring a bell. One of my group had a foot injury recently, so we needed longer time to make it back. In the middle of our way back, the tour guide from Monte-Bellaria ambushed us, questioned us why we were not back yet. After hearing one of our group had a foot injury, instead of trying to accommodate the situation and apologizing for his previous rude behavior, he criticized us for “not planning earlier”. When we told him no need to be so rude, his answer was “Oh I am not mad, you haven’t seen me mad yet”, which is hostile and unprofessional. Then the tour guide spent the next few minute following the member in our group with the foot injury to slowly walk back, even after we explicitly told him that he didn’t need to do so. After spending a few minutes uninvitedly “guarding” his customers, the tour guide finally realized that this is not the best use of everyone’s time and ran back to the parking lot.We expect better treatment visiting a lavender field. Monte-Bellaria di California, you will not get any return business from us or hopefully anyone who reads this review.

Came here with my family on New Years Eve to look at the lavender fields. We got a personal tour and the guide was amazing: he showed us all the items they produce, and let us walk around the lavender fields and have a good time.It was a fun experience!I ended up buying some of their lavender honey and it was sooo tasty.

The guy in a cowboy hat is very rude and condescending. He ruined our day!!! The staff is super inconsiderate. We had a nasty experience in this farm. The guy yelled at because we went into the lavender rows when there was no sign not to and we weren’t brief about it! He look at us like he want us to leave right away. I have a feeling he does not like Asians. Also, the fee of $22 is way overpriced for the farm that offers nothing except rows of lavender. SKIP THIS FARM!!! Go to another Lavender Farm!!! I will make sure my friends and co workers never visit this place ever!!!

What an absolute pleasure to visit this place! I'm bringing a friend this weekend so she can experience the beauty of seeing acres of lavender, smell the heavenly scent, and gaze at the vineyards across the way. There is also an olive grove that we can explore. The gift shop has many delights. I praise the owner Bill for bringing his dream to fruition.
