Highly recommended! We recently had a tasting for a group of four. It was an amazing, intimate experience and everything was delicious. We were seated in the dining room facing the large windows so we could enjoy the views of the mountains and Russian River Valley. David, our host, was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. He shared a lot of information about Halleck and his experience in the wine industry while he led us through the tasting with food pairings. We couldn't resist shipping a case home to Pittsburgh to enjoy in the future. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy really good range of diverse Pinot noirs, plus some others. Aside from the beautiful property, the service and educational experience from Harris was superb. A huge plus is that they are dog friendly! A must visit for those looking to hit wineries off the beaten path. If close by, I recommend having this placed previously mapped as service is spotty.

We had the most wonderful tasting at Halleck Vineyards Estate winery. It surpassed our expectations. The person who gave the tasting was so knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun. A great sonoma valley wine experience with an intimate setting that makes you feel at home. We stayed at the wine cottage (Airbnb) that is at the vineyard, and decided to try the wine tasting since were were there. The wine is excellent and our dog enjoyed the venue as much as we did! Harris was very knowledgeable and made us feel right at home!

Harris is an amazing host at this Sonoma wine tasting! We’ve been to Italy and France and this was better than all those tasting:. We learned so much! There is also a dog named Frankie to hang out with you while you sip on the garden. Pairings are meticulous!

An incredibly beautiful winery nestled in the hills. Wine is delicious. The guided tasting with food pairing was amazing and Harris' knowledge of the wine and industry really made the experience for us. The food pairing was gluten free as well which was great for the coeliac in our group. One of us didn't partake in the guided tasting due to being the designated driver but was welcome to sit at the tasting table and learn about the wines. We all had a fantastic day - highly recommend!

We had a private tasting at Halleck for my friend’s bachelorette. The tasting was outdoors and had gorgeous views. The area is perfect for Sonoma wine tasting and specialized in Pinot noirs. It was a very personal, private experience led by Harris (who was great!!) I would recommend for anyone looking for small or larger group settings!! We all had a blast and the wine was delicious

This was such a wonderful intimate wine experience! Our guide, David, was so fun and knowledgeable. The tasting takes place in the owner’s dining room with a small group. The cracker and cheese pairings were tasty and locally sourced but small, so don’t come hungry. We were able to bring our well behaved dog and have him sit at our feet. David was the best! And the Pinot was top notch!

What an amazing wine and nibble tasting experience we had at Halleck Vineyards! The quality of the wines was equally matched by the quality of our wine tasting guide, Harris, who is a wealth of knowledge. The wine tasting experience took us through an amazing Sauvignon blank, to a delightful rose (cheekily called “not your mother’s white Zinfandel”) to a stream of Pinot noirs that expressed vastly different qualities, all of the “knock your socks off” variety. Community is a central theme here, and it is manifested by their philanthropic acts and how they treat their guests. Do yourself a favor and visit! Oh, and the views and doggie are an added bonus!

Great find! Highly recommend. We stayed at the airbnb and of course HAD to booked a wine tasting as well. The tasting room/main house was such relaxed yet interactive experience with our extremely knowledgeable psalm Harris. The wine is excellent. Our dog loved sunbathing on the deck (love how pet friendly they are). If your are looking for wine tasting in this area, definitely stop by.

Just attended a wine tasting here and all of the wines were amazing. Great food pairings and warm ambiance. They also donate some of their proceeds to charities of their members' choice. A great experience overall. Definitely worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

I brought our out of town guests to Halleck Vineyard to give them a unique “taste” of West Sonoma County. It was a great experience. The view of the vineyards and countryside was lovely and the wines were excellent. Our host David was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Each wine was accompanied by a small bite, and the pairings were spot-on. We learned the history of the winery and about each wine, but what stood out for me was the intimate setting, and of course, the quality of the wines. If you like Pinot Noir, Halleck Vineyard should be on the top of your list.

We had a private wine tasting here and our experience was among the best we've ever had. The wines themselves are exquisite, their grapes and pairings are locally sourced, and everything is of the highest quality. Our host (Harris) was engaging and knowledgeable, and I'd say he was the best host I've ever had. He explained the origins of each wine, the nuanced differences in their wine making processes, and demonstrated extensive knowledge of winemaking both across the world and throughout history. There was no pressure to buy, aside from the exceptional flavors themselves. Most of us opted not only to buy bottles, but to become members as well. Looking forward to sharing these wines with our friends!

We did the tasting menu with Harris on a Sunday morning. It was such a great experience for our guests from out of town. Harris was super friendly, funny & knowledgeable and gave us so much context and history of how wines are made and produced, the award process and specifics about the local region of Sonoma. Wine was so tasty - and we left with a case of wine for home. This Sonoma winery is a must visit!

This was my first wine tasting and might have done myself in because the bar was set tremendously high. Off the beaten path, the tasting is set in a gorgeous valley with great views. Harris led the tasting and was informative and friendly, making for a great feel. Wine was great and experience was even better.

We did our wine tasting in Sonoma county here for my bodega bay bachelorette and I would 10/10 recommend. If you’re looking for an intimate and quaint experience then Halleck is your spot! This is our favorite vineyard in Northern California. The wines are all exceptional but equally so is the tasting experience. Harris is the most wonderful guide, we knew we needed to become members immediately and have enjoyed multiple visits to this epic vineyard. Highly recommend!

An excellent Sonoma winery tasting in an amazing location. Halleck’s own estate Pinot noir is exceptional. Harris guided us through Halleck’s wine and is a fantastic host. We stayed in the on site wine lodge overnight too, which I would highly recommend for a peaceful nights sleep!

Halleck Vineyard has amazing whites and beautiful Pinots offered in a very private tasting setting with spectacular views. Our host, Harris, was knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. This place is off the beaten path but worth the drive!
