I don’t know how they manage to mess up my insurance every single month, but somehow they do. Simple refills turn into 2-3 day ordeals of calling my insurance, then calling the pharmacy, so on etc. very frustrating.

This review is for the Pharmacy @ the Seal Beach CVS (on PCH). I've been using this Pharmacy each month for the last 4 months and while they are pleasant, I believe that they con people with the constant monthly fluctuations in prescription drug prices. I've been using "goodrx" which gives you a price based on the different Pharmacy options. But CVS Pharmacy act as if it's the drug companies that are changing the prices. Each time I have to haggle to get the price that "goodrx" has given me. It is truly annoying and they often say, "well you're getting a good price!" It really isn't any of their business of why I'm trying to save $4 here, $10 there. BTW, drug companies will often change the price of prescription medication (like gas stations) but usually not huge variations over the course of several months. So buyers beware!

So I went inside and used the self checkout, had to call an attendant because it wasn’t working. Nice Attendant helped me and even scanned my card for me. Left the building, and was chased out and accused to of stealing my makeup! Unbelievable lady with a mask on, ask me if I had paid for my compact! Wow didn’t know I looked like a thief and she didn’t notice the other cashier helped me?? I will never go back there, apparently my money isn’t good there !

Always good service at their counter when picking up prescriptions inside. You can also drive up to window, and pick up there. They do close for lunch. Check photo for their hours. It seems different CVS pharmacies locations have different lunch hours. This location is always busy. There are 3 different CVS locations within the City of Seal Beach California .

Utterly incompetent, discriminating and rude pharmacist!I went for a consultation for a medication over the counter, she was dismissal and rude.She treated me like I didn’t deserve her attention and she pretend not to understand me!I have an Italian British accent I am a doctorate in psychology and I travelled in 64 countries never had an issue with my accent !When I asked for the length of the cure she replied ‘up to you’ like if medical treatments are opinions!What an incompetent!!Half of my family and friends are doctors and I had to call in Europe to have the answers to my questionsRidiculous!!Absolutely avoid this pharmacy.

For the fifth time in six months they do not have my prescription pain meds in stock. I have had to accept short refills twice now and it’s inexcusable. Wise up and pay a little extra to get what we need.

I usually don't post but in this case I felt it was warranted due to the exceptional service the pharmacy staff at this Seal Beach, CA location has given me since I started going there at the beginning of 2022. Other CVS pharmacies have been either okay or poor and overall have not been as compassionate or caring as this group. It meant and means the world to me to have the pharmacist and the employees actually listen and make decisions based on the individual.I always understand how busy pharmacies are but the service sometimes can be atrocious but in this case of this location the past 3 months it is Top Notch and FIVE STARS for sure! Thank you for actually caring and for the wonderful service!

My goodness! I was there 2 weeks ago (Saturday at about 4pm) with my daughter on our way to the beach. Honestly, no customer service at all. The lady at the cashier treats customers like if she's there against her will and working for free. I went to the self paying machine and the ice bag barcode did not work. I asked a lady that was walking around and got a bit annoyed (I understand) then sent me to the cashier who acted very rude and super annoyed she HAD to help me because of the barcode was not working. Checkout process she doenst ask, She demands. She most certainly does not have a way with customers. And by the way, I didn not see her name tag (coincidence? I don't think so). I'm sorry but there's some standards to at least treat people respectfully and not feel like if you're asking for anything free or something like that.The store was very clean though.

I thought the whole idea was to make getting the vaccine and test as easy as possible. I guess CVS didn't get that memo. Went there this morning to get the test for my daughter. Appointments are a hassle to get, aren't even available for a week. I go to the testing cubicle outside of the actual store. There is literally no one there. Spoke to the guy doing the test, I ask can you give my daughter the test. He says "this is how I schedule, so I can have more down time". Seriously CVS, is this how you take care of a pandemic, let's get more breaks, Stat.

FRAUDMinute Clininc ran my insurance and gave me printout that Shingles vaccine is free for me and my wife. However I just got a huge bill. If they were honest with me I would not have taken it. Huge Fraud!No no one will talk to us. No Customer Service email to send the printout. Representative hung up on us.Beware of these cheating people and company!!!

Cvs is generally just "CVS" but we had "David" help us on some questions and he was very helpful an approached us to ask if need help. He was very knowledgeable and overall just helpful and not over the top. He deserves a raise!

I came in early in the morning while the night shift people were about to get off and they were so friendly and full of energy, I couldn't believe they had worked all night!!!! David and Mary were both very helpful!!!! Besides helping me locate things I needed, they also gave me advice about parking issues around the beach and how to go to city council to resolve them. Since I'm not from that area it was so appreciated!!!!! Great job CVS and amazing staff!!!!!!!

There is always a long wait for pharmacy. They accept people in Pharmacy line to pay for their groceries instead of going up front. I wish they would change this policy and use Pharmacy only for pharmacy.
