The lumber company did a nice job of making this building tell a story. They showed the various growth stages of trout and salmon in tanks in the building. I didnt see any signs that said no fishing and the two and three year old trout really looked good but I didnt fish. Humboldt Redwood talked about how they were good stewards of the land and planted more tiny saplings than 1-200 year old tree they cut down. Overall we did enjoy the fish exhibit and took the rest with a grain of salt. Thanks for the effort put in here.

Beautiful building and clean, well maintained fish tanks including an artificial stream and a small foot bridge. There are lots of fish and it's almost mesmerizing to watch them swim. There's also an informational exhibit as you enter. We lingered and enjoyed the beautiful, calm atmosphere! (Note: We arrived on a cool fall morning and there was a foggy condensation on the outside of the tanks so we could hardly see in. Once we figured out it was fog (and not dirty tanks), we gave them a quick wipe were able to clearly see the variety of fish).

This is a place to watch real salmon. You will learn more about the salmon life and trees. People here, when they cut down the trees, they still care about the fish environment and sensitive species.

Nice place to visit and bring out of town folks. Great story boards about the lumber industry! Only down fall is a locked bathroom.
