My dog is always a little shy, but they go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. I highly recommend the holiday packages they have for not only do they treat your pup, but they also give you a little something for you to take home and make your pup happy! They ensure she has positive experiences (or at least the most they can) every time we come!

My doodle puppy has been to VIP grooming twice already now and she always comes home not only looking great, but very clearly not emotionally stressed which is extremely important to me. They treat all the pups well so that both the humans and animals leave happy. I live between here and the bay area and when we're in San Diego my pups will go to no other groomer - they're the only ones I trust! Highly recommend!

It was my first time bringing my mini schnauzer to this groomer. I specifically chose this grooming salon because of all of the good reviews but I am actually very disappointed in this groom. It was sloppy, uneven and I asked them to do a breed cut and they chopped off my schnauzer’s beautiful beard!! There were still pieces of dirt left in his beard and it didn’t even look like they cut his back nails.. on closer inspection I noticed that they left a bald spot around his eye and what looked like dried blood on his back leg 😭😭 Due to my previous experience of grooming they could have done a lot better and I will not be bringing him back. Everyone seemed very nice but it was not the quality I expected! I posted what he looked like before and after. This is my own perspective from my own experience working with dogs and while I respect all groomers I also value honesty.

GO TO THIS GROOMER!! DO IT!! I brought my service dog who’s a poodle in here and he came out looking like the most adorable baby in the world. The groomers themselves are incredibly kind, professional, and honestly make you feel like they are your friend!! The groomers said they’d love to see my dog again and I just can’t say anything but good things about this place!!

I recently discovered VIP grooming salon and I couldn't be happier with the experience! THIS is the BEST groomer ever! We’ve tried several other groomers and none come close to VIP Groomers! We don’t trust our pups with anyone else more than the people at VIP. SO glad we found them … and so are our puppies! Thanks again and keep up the amazing work!

We absolutely LOVE Lauren and VIP Grooming! We have been coming here now for 4 years and all 3 of my furry kids have been with Lauren since pups. I always know they are being treated with love and care, and my dogs clearly love going there by the squeals of excitement they let out when we drive up to drop them off. I don't just trust my dogs with anyone either. Lauren always takes the time to let me know too if she notices anything out of the ordinary which I really appreciate. For example she helped me catch early, conditions on 2 separate occasions which ended up being a UTI and ear infection when diagnosed at my vet. Thank you so much to Lauren for making my girls so healthy and shiny, and for loving them like she does! She truly loves them. My crazy lil trio.

Extremely rude staff. Apparently bald people aren't welcome here. I found this out when the woman in charge said Bald people aren'twelcome here. The woman in charge also said "Sir, are you aware you are bald?". Surprisingly enough, I was aware of this fact. I tried to explain that some people, including myself.They fired my favorite bather hope. Not cool.I was just trying to get my dog groomed and the manager Melissa was extremely rude and did not help the situation at all. I immediately called the owner to ask how he determinate the manager was qualified to run the store. He simply ignored me and also ignored any complaints I had.When I received my dog back, they completely messed up his hair. It was done all wrong and when I got home it seemed my dog just got out of a war in Iraq. He was shaking and was acting extremely scared. They obviously did something to him. I don't know what the did.I do NOT recommend this grooming place AT ALL and the manager who is in charge of running is store was one of the most unprofessional people I've ever met. Melissa was very unqualified and I don't know why the owner determined her qualified to run the store. She did a terrible job grooming my dog and also gave him PTSD. He shakes whenever I touch him now.If you are looking to groom your dog. This is not the place.

This was our first time coming here and my dog's second grooming experience. They were very nice and handled Luci with care, she didn't seem traumatized when I picked her up like the last place I took her to, and she looked great!! Definitely recommend.

I have a Pomerian. I waited a month and a half to make a reservation for a Saturday. My dog ​​has been groomed in other areas, but I first visited here to find a this shop near my house. I wanted a teddy bear cut and tail hair a little shorter, but she cut all the hair on my dog's body was shaved short. When I went to pick up my dog, I was so shocked that I couldn't say anything. I told my groomer I asked to my dog cut teddy bear and she said she was sorry and offered to give me a discount so I paid $65 plus tip. When I got home and looked at the back of my dog, his fur was irregular and his skin was visible. I was so upset that I cried. This shop is very difficult to make a reservation and takes a very long time. Most of all, I lost my words because I turned my beloved dog into a beggar. I will never go to this store again. I am truly disappointed.

I have a very skittish rescue wheaten terrier. Today Jordyn took her in and took great care of her! The result of her grooming abilities was fantastically adorable. The office is neat, organized, and friendly. I love VIP!🐾🐶

I have been taking my two shih tzu’s here for a couple years. Recently one of them got hurt and required extra TLC. I called and they said they can handle her hurt back. When I walked in, I was standing in the waiting room for about 3 minutes without being helped. Then two more people came in. I made my way to the front desk, a lady came out and completely ignored me and asked if the other people needed help.Since my dog was hurt I was holding her in my arms. I then gave my dog to the worker and said please be careful with her. Three and a half hours later, I pick up my dog. It was the worst haircut they have given her. They cut her on her from leg, they even suggested I go to the vet. They gave me a discount, but the fact they ignored me AND cut my dog, I will never go back.

I started taking my pups, Oliver and Lucy, to VIP a few years ago after their other groomer retired. Prior to the switch, they had always been a bit hesitant to go (probably because their other groomer was at the vet’s office). It took only ONE visit with Lauren and Derrick for all of their hesitation to disappear. VIP took the time to calm them, cuddle them, and make them comfortable on that first visit and it made all the difference. Now Oliver and Lucy absolutely LOVE going for their baths and haircuts! They get so excited! VIP has always done a great job with my pups, with the grooming, and with the customer service. I know that Oliver and Lucy are well-taken care of and they are happy. I will never go anywhere else!

My pup Freddie is not great with new people or in new environments but at VIP grooming he felt right at home and his groomer upon meeting him got to his eye level and loved on him to make him feel comfortable. They did such an amazing job on his summer haircut and came home happy and sleepy! I typically don’t leave reviews but I knew for VIP grooming I had to since they did such an amazing job! I’m so happy and excited to have found a forever groomer for Fred!

I can’t say enough good things about VIP, Derrick and Lauren, and all the staff.My chihuahua had previously gone to another local grooming facility but shook horribly and hid under the car seat when we pulled up. And as a pet owner , that scares you.We’ve been going to VIP a few years now and we love it , and does our sparky boy ! They do such a great job, are priced appropriately , have so many great goodies for sale , and are super responsive to scheduling and concerns.I’ll never quit recommending them! Hope to see their business continue to grow.

VIP Grooming is amazing! Lauren, Derek and the groomers take great care of our senior golden retriever. She has arthritis in her spine and give her breaks when needed and lots of love. She always looks so beautiful after her bath and grooming and smells so good! They also have great products to purchase from their shop. Lauren was great in helping find the right CBD and dosage for our dog as well and it's been very beneficial. I highly recommend them and wouldn't take my fur baby anywhere else!

These people act like they love your dog, but they really don’t. Left my dog stare at this morning to get haircuts and nails trimmed came back to my dog, wincing and scared. Her eye is swollen. When I asked what happened I was told she came in that way. It’s BS. Don’t go there if you love your animals.

We love everything about VIP. We have a 115lbs Mastiff/Boxer mix who naturally is a little hyper. They have a special way with him, and always make him comfortable, which makes us super comfortable. The price is an indication of the quality you receive, and the love and care they give your pet. I couldn't ask for a better shop to take care of our big boy. They have become more than a groomer. Our dog has been going to this shop since it first opened. We have a poodle and Lauren and her team always does a phenomenal job. Our dog comes back clean, smelling great and happy. We love experimenting with different styles (and fun colors!) and they always seems to enjoy having him in. I cannot go to anyone else!

When I called them to schedule an appointment I asked for pricing for my 10 pound pup. The lady that answered said grooming price depended on a trim ($45) vs a full hair cut ($65). Upon arriving I asked for a light trim clean up and emphasized not a full cut. When I went to pick up my pup they gave him a full cut and left him practically bald. Even the employee working the counter laughed and said "wow he's like a rat" as he handed me my pup... so rude. I wonder how he would feel if I told his children looked like rats. On top of that, I was charged the $65 dollars! They over charged me for something I didn't ask for in the first place. Never coming here again. One star for lying about their pricing, cutting ALL of my dogs hair when told not to, and rude service. Only good thing was their dog treat selections.

VIP is wonderful. I had several groomers unwilling to take care of my anxious baby, but VIP took her & has groomed her ever since. She is not afraid to go there like she was at the petshop groomers. She always comes home perfectly beautiful & sweet smelling. Their prices are also reasonable.

I have been bringing my dog (Ziggy) here for 2+ years and they have exceeded my expectations each and every time! Great friendly staff, and always loving and caring to my pups.I recently brought in my German shepherd, which after they tried to work their magic on her.. she still was a little too skittish (I knew this going in, as she has water anxiety).. but they referred me to a place that could help!!!Will never go anywhere else.. and I always recommend them to everyone I know!Keep up the amazing work, VIP 🐾
