Every time I do any shopping in store this short older woman with short graying hair follows me and blatantly watches what I do. I’m at this location every two weeks like clockwork for my cat making at least $35 purchases every single time. I’m assuming the only reason I was profiled at this location is because I carry a tote bag? I tried going back in store just one more time just to have the same thing happen to me again!! I’ll stick to buy online pick up in store so no one will have to watch me shop anymore.

Took my dog Buster to grooming and everything went well between his evaluation and the transfer. My guy came out looking and feeling like a million bucks. I know it’s hard work because we seek professional help now with his grooming as he continues to grow. The team did a phenomenal job and I wanted to mention our good experience today. As pictured.

I took my dog to get groomed at pet smart this afternoon. It was our first time trying pet smarts grooming salon…never again!I booked an appt for 4:30 but when i dropped my dog off, the groomer said that since they close at 5:30 they wont be able to do everything. If thats the case, why even make 4:30 an available appt time?!THEN i pick her up and she is still wet and they told me that they didnt cut her nails or brush her teeth even though i paid for the package. I asked them if they could please take those services off my bill since they didnt do it and the groomer (named Angela) was like “hmmm well i dont know how to do that. Sorry” so i said i wasnt going to pay for services that i didn’t receive so she just gave me 10%. Which really only took off 3 dollars in taxes. So i paid 54 dollars for my dog to get washed and half dried. They werent even going to give her a bandana or take the services that they didnt do off my bill until i said something. Angela, the groomer, was rude and very unprofessional. I am incredibly disappointed in my experience today and will be calling the manager.Dont take your dog here! Especially not to Angela!

Ordered stuff online people were very nice when I got there They brought it out to the car One of the items after we got it home I didn't like so I just took it back to the store The service lady was very nice and returned my item with no problem and gave me another one

Well. It's my dog first time for grooming service here. I paid tips for bather since my dog is a big size husky. But When We got home I found part of fur in his back are still sticky together, Seems like bodywash residue. Even it took 3 hours to wash him, it is still not well done. I called back to store, a male service picked up phone call, He said I can wash down by myself or bring him back tomorrow, i asked Even I don't have any appointment? He said call back tomorrow early morning like 7am to see if there are busy or not. I felt like what? And then he said I'm sorry and hanged up the phone. Seems like he is rushing to get off. I feel disappointed petsmart service is going to bad like that.

I love PetSmart but they stopped selling cute pet clothes maybe a couple of things they have so now I started shopping at Petco because they have lots of doggy clothes I just spent $200 at Petco that could have gone to PetSmart if they carried more clothes for dogs

Nice clean store. Laid out basically the same as the one we usually go to in Escondido. They had what we went there for, and had enough cashiers that it only took a couple minutes to check out (which is quicker than the one in Escondido, where it seems like there is always a line 2 - 3 people deep).

It is tough to keep the shelves stocked but we can always find something for our babies ... It does not cost a fortune but they have quality products in stock.

Can I just say that I'm so glad there are still Petsmarts?! Where else can you go to the zoo with your kids for free? My kids love going there to see the fish, birds, hamsters and all the other unique animals. Not to mention they have all of my pup's needs. While I might be able to find some stuff cheaper in other places (especially online) it's really nice to know I can quickly buy something when I need it. On top of that they offer training classes and grooming for your floofs. Thank you Petsmart for being around!Pic of my floof with her #1 favorite toy which is only $1 at petsmart 😁

I love the selection and that you can bring your pet in. Also there are items I'd never even thought of, in regards to my cat n rat, that make life easier. Prices are decent. I signed up for the Rewards program so we'll see if I actually use this one... the pic is of a hay shelter I got for our rat. It was $14.99

The store was bright, wide aisles, helpful employees. They have small pet (guinea pigs/hamsters) Halloween costumes and they are adorably cute.Their lavatories were abysmally dirty though.

I was promised a full time position if I worked in the grooming salon instead of the original job I applied for, which was a stocking job. Don't trust Jaime the store manager if he tells you, that you will make a lot of money doing grooming he's lying to you. I started part time and then I got close to nothing. He only hired a lot of us because of the holidays. After that we were all cut short on our hours, half of us couldn't even make it to grooming acadamy which is when you get a full time spot. Even then it may not happen at all. I worked 2 hours in just two weeks and because of Jaime ( the store boss), I had to find more hours at differnt stores and even then I was only able to scrape up and extra 8 hours for the whole two weeks. A lot of us had to leave and were left broke. He lied to us to get more bathers for the holidays and how many hours/money we'd be making.P.S. Dont buy fish or small animals here. They're malnurished and will die quickly. I've seen many animals get trashed because of this. Don't book grooming with Heather, she let's the dog bleed and hits them in the face when the don't stand up straight.

I am very disappointed with my Santee, CA doggie daykamp store. I have been taking my border collie (Fridays) and mini schnauzer (every Monday) for 5 years. They totally enjoyed the interaction with the other doggies. This was displayed with excitement when I was ready to pick up UNTIL recently. My store has gone though a turn around of personnel lately. A month ago my border collie was laying in the corner, quiet and shivering WHICH SHE NEVER DOES. Personnel told me she was taking all the attention away from the other dogs and she needed a timeout. 😳 How do you do that? They kicked her out of doggie daykamp. Afterwardsthere was the doggie daykamp employee yelling at the dogs to "shut up". I was bothered with this and told management. They said they would address issue. Yesterday I picked up my schnauzer from his weekly daykamp. Employee again was yelling at dogs saying "shut up" as she is walking around looking at her cell phone. My schnauzer was very stressed when I got him and I asked what happened. There response was "he was in the corner shivering so we put him in a cage to calm him down". Again, this same employee was there yelling at barking dogs saying "shut up" where customers could see and here this behavior. Again,I talked with managementSad BUT I will no longer be taking my dogs there any longer for doggie daykamp. Unexceptable behavior by someone caring for my pet.

Only issue is beware of adoption events that are not regulated, scammer rescues dont pay there dogs vetcare bills and charge hefty fees to adopters ( woofs & wags 501 kathleen orozco) should be checked and 501 removed scamming adopters with hundreds of dollars and worst part not paying for rescue dogs health

Just be aware that they will sneak in charges for things like matting or extra brushing. I paid for the luxury package which includes all the bells and whistles. I attempted to click de-matting unaware that the luxury package included de-matting. But then at checkout was met with an extra fees. Was charged 215$. 200 with a coupon.

Love the fish department here, good variety, knowledgeable staff manning the area, very clean, well stocked with everything you need for your tank -from tanks, filters, heaters, substrate, decor, cleaners, to food, treats, and plants.Plus, the carry a good variety of little critters, cat, dog, bird, and small animal foods, treats, carriers, beds, etc.

Petsmart sells animals it considers "disposable" such as fish, hermit crabs, reptiles, lizards, etc. The ones you see in the store are often the remaining survivors of cruel breeding, transportation and lack of care. Will continue to shop elsewhere as long as Petsmart continues these practices.

Pet Kingdom is one of my favorite places to help my friend find new fish. There is so many to choose from, and awesome they also deal with other animals. They also do dog and cat shots at low cost.

Billy is the absolute best! Seriously he is the definition of what customer service should be. Always extremely kind and helpful. As a bonus, my dog LOVES seeing him. Everytime we come into the store he starts looking for Billy.The rest of the store is great too, but they're lucky to have such awesome employees!

It was closed on the day it was supposed to be open. They are currently scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday. When I call it goes to the long game of messages and waiting. But no mention that it was closed. Calling around to other Banfield not not at all helpful. You have that board of who is scheduled for appointments behind the desk, please have someone write on it, Will Be Back On... and put a date 📅.

I am so dissapointed. I brought my pet here for grooming and it was the worst decision i could’ve made, i have taken my pet to different grooming locations and she walks out perfectly groomed. The groomer shaved all of my dogs hair without my consent and all she can say about it was “Its that time of the year”. I just dont think its fair that i payed $120 for someone to quick wash and shave my dogs hair without my consent. I am so upset.

Grooming department so called manager **OMAR*** was completely rude didn’t care at at so no compassion or understanding and no apology. During my last and final visit to this Petsmart I had a grooming appointment set for 2:30pm. When I arrived I was met by Omar who started my appointment was canceled because the groomer I scheduled with caught COVID which I understood but my question to him was, why wasn’t I notified. His response was “we called you last night and left a voicemail so there’s nothing we can do for you today but I can reschedule”. Obviously I didn’t get it out else I wouldn’t be standing here. My issue is there’s an online option to pre register before arrival to kind of speed up the time in the store. Which I did the morning of my appointment so I understand there was phone call made and a voicemail left but if they saw I preregistered then I didn’t get either so why wasn’t there another attempt to contact me when they clearly seen the pre registration? Again his response idk but we can’t help you so do you want to reschedule. No apology no ma’am I’m sorry we wasted your time sorry we didn’t make another attempt to cancel the appointment no nothing no care in the world. They called and left a voicemail and so what apparently that’s all they could of done. However when I’m walking out the store annoyed as hell mind you I receive a text message at 2:29pm. Stating my appointment had been canceled. Bingo. My point exactly. I get it you called u left a voicemail but you couldn’t have maybe tried calling again or hummm canceling the appointment like you just did to make sure I didn’t show up just to find out my appointment had been canceled. I know there could have been other attempts to get ahold of me to make sure I was aware my appointment had been canceled. So I didn’t wast my time money and gas to a canceled appointment. Again OMAR had nothing for me but a horrible attitude and pointing the blame on me because he did everything he was supposed to do on his end. There isn’t a Petsmart in my city so I had to drive to the neighboring city for my appointment during mid day traffic only to show up to a canceled appointment that I was obviously unaware of. Thanks OMAR for going above and beyond to make sure your customers are happy. NOT! Worst experience ever. Will not be returning ever because of the way I miss treated and disregarded by the so called manager himself OMAR!

Love Pet Smart!!! They carry extra large and giant puppy pads. A large variety of dog toys, treats, and bones. They have everything you need for your puppy or dog child. They even carry puppy pools right now. We also use their vet Banfield located inside the store, there great to. They offer optimum wellness for dogs and puppys at a good price. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this pet store over others.
