I had a blast. Getting up close & being able to pet & hold the foxes is an amazing experience. I’ve been 3 times. Once with a friend, then my son & his wife, and last summer took my granddaughters. The drive is also beautiful. 💯you should go!

Melissa, Amy, Dave, and the rest of the staff were incredibly knowledgeable about every animal. We brought our children, 12 and 10, and felt comfortable with each animal encounter because they explained the rules to follow well. The site was well maintained, and the staff friendly. We would highly recommend booking an encounter and supporting the efforts of the center.

What an amazing a beautiful fox sanctuary! We did the 45 minute Fox tour and added on the option for our 10 year son to pet and feed a fox. He said he’s completed a life dream 😍The women who run the rescue are obviously knowledgeable and fun, kind and caring on top of it. We highly recommend the experience if you love foxes or any animal!Just be sure to read the do and do nots before arrival.e.g. wear closed toe shoes, follow the directions so you don’t get lost etc 😊

I heard about this center a year ago from a friend and immediately knew my daughter would love to go for her birthday. She loves foxes and learning about all things science and animal related.We booked the 1 hour canid educational experience, and she was over the moon when we told her. Unfortunately she broke her arm a week before she was supposed to go, but Amy was amazing and helped us reschedule to a time after my daughter's arm healed.For the experience, we got to meet Stumpy the New Guinea singing dog, Lucan the gray wolf, and then we got to go into the enclosure with two Russian domesticated foxes who were *so* sweet, soft, and fluffy! Following the enclosure, we got to learn about the other foxes at the center as well as their black backed jackals.Throughout the experience, we didnt get to just meet and see the canids, se also got to learn about their species, dangers to the species, and about the individual personalities of the canids there.Such an amazing and personal experience. Everyone was wonderful, and I was and remain so impressed by their communication.My daughter said it was her best birthday ever and has already requested it for her next. Thank you!!

My husband gifted me a fox experience in 2018 and we had such an amazing time that I became a volunteer and have been working with these gorgeous animals ever since. It's unbelievable to be able to work with the Russian Domesticated Foxes after learning about them in college over 20 years ago. I never thought I would get such a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I signed up for the 10AM fox encounter and it ended up being a private tour since I was the only one! The foxes were so beautiful, sweet and it was very evident they were well taken care of. Highly recommend the experience and to support a very good cause!

My daughter and I had a great experience! We traveled about two hours just to come see the foxes and it was totally worth the trip! They had such beautiful foxes, and it's so nice that we got to pet and feed them. I definitely recommend visiting this place!

A fantastic experience! I adored meeting the wolf, foxes, and getting to view the jackals. Hands down wonderful. I followed the clearly written instructions and was able to locate the place no problem. Also what a beautiful drive up!

What a blast! Such a fun experience ...not gonna lie, the wolf is a bit intimidating and HUGE!! but also the highlight of my experience (but only by a decimal point over holding the foxes!) . Totally worth it. Highly recommended.

I have been to several of their events and even had the opportunity to do a photoshoot with the foxes and wolf. I love being able to interact with the animals and support the center and its efforts to educate the public and protect these beautiful canids. If you have the opportunity to visit the center or attend one of the events, you will fall in love with the foxes and the staff who work tirelessly to provide for these amazing animals.

This was the best day of my life. I WILLBE BACK !!!! All the foxes were so playful and happy, they acted almost cat like the way the would jump around. We did the add on to pet and feed Lena, one of the foxes, and it was worth every penny!!! If I could give more than 5 stars if I could ❤️🦊

My family and I had a great time visiting JAB. It was such a unique and special experience. We loved learning about the different Candid animals. We especially loved playing with the foxes and seeing the majestic wolf. We hope to be back!

We visited here recently and it was a really awesome experience. We purchased the Private Canid Encounter for up to 4 people, it’s an hour long.Our encounter included meet and greet with a pair of New Guinea singing dogs, a Mexican Grey Wolf (eyes only, no hands), and 2 different groups of foxes- the most exciting part to our visit! They are very beautiful animals! If you love animals, this is an amazing experience.We also saw a couple coyotes (view from afar) and an Arctic Fox (view from close)-both in an enclosure when viewed.Things to know…It get’s hot out here- bring water.Most areas you will be in are shaded.There is a bathroom on site.They have a gift shop.They offer a military discount on the encounter, you just have to email them for the code.

This place doesn’t exist. Followed GPS and it sent me to another nature center. Asked the people there for directions and they even heard of the place. Tried to follow GPS again using the street address this time. I was sent to a literal hiking trail with nothing in site- no parking, no building. This is a fraud- save your money.Update:So apparently it’s MY fault that I couldn’t find the place and I didn’t follow the directions in the email. While it is true I inputted the incorrect directions at first, I did look at the given email and then put in the correct address. I followed the directions and I drove up about 1.5 miles up Mesa Grande, then made a right onto Bobcat trail like the email instructions stated and is the same directions as the GPS when the correct address is inputted. The trail was so narrow that would not fit my car. My car, by the way, is a toyota camry. It’s not a big car. There was no parking where I could park my car and walk the rest of the way. There were no signs saying that I was even at the right place. I tried calling them as I was driving and was unable to text them but no one answered. In the end, I missed the scheduled time trying to find this place and had to call it quits. However, if this place is truly legit, they may call me and we can reschedule ON THEIR DIME. If they are willing to do this, I will try to reach this location again and, if I find it, will delete this message as it would have been my mistake. Otherwise I will keep this review up and let everyone know this place is fraud.Update:Currently trying to text them to reschedule. I really want to believe this place is real, I wanna pet some foxes! So far I haven’t gotten a reply…it’s been almost 30 minutes… In other words, if I had texted them while I was trying to find the place I would have still missed the scheduled time since apparently they don’t respond right away. NOTE: I am texting BOTH numbers!Update:It’s now been an hour since texting them.Update: it has officially been 24hrs since contacting them and haven’t gotten a reply. I’ve filed a fraud report to try to get my money back. Considering getting to the location was impossible with my car (with no mention of needing a certain car to get to the location in the email), this is a justifiable report.
