I stumbled upon this store when we took our dog to the vet. I always went to the Ace Hardware store in Solvang. Like the ads say...."Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man!" I hate shopping for specific screws nuts and bolts. A nice nan helped me to find something that was even better for my specific need. A $1.50 sale... and they treated me as if I bought a complete new set of tools. I'll be back.

There is a really grumpy elderly man there to avoid if you can. It's fairly high priced and kinda messy but nice to have in a pinch.12-2023; I haven't seen grumpy in some time(: Well maintained and stalked. Nice and helpful attendants, and friendly at the register, too. Love their spring/summer flowers, trees, and plant selections!

Nice little hardware store. Has a little bit of everything. It is deceptive in size from the outside. There is not a huge selection but there is enough for most and should get you by if needed. The employees are friendly. There are no public bathrooms due to the pandemic. Overall it is a great little small town store.

Great old fashioned hardware store. Plenty of knowledgeable staff to help you, and all sorts of odds and ends that you might need. Great garden department, nuts and bolts, paint, plumbing, etc. Skip the big boxes and Amazon and experience the past when you shop local.

Friendly folks with a little bit of everything. I was camping at Figueroa Campground and my bike was running low on oil. They had my Rotella T oil saving me a 100 miles of roundtrip travel. I also grabbed a few camping supplies while I was there.

In this day and age of the big-box store, it's so great to have this small-town hardware store around. Such a great staff. I'm constantly surprised that they will almost always have something that will get the job done in what seems like such a relatively small store. Also a great spot to pick up a toy for my niece or nephew.

Glenn and his team are fantastic. They are extremely helpful, the store is always very well staffed, very well organized and these guys even will help you load your car. They are always my first stop. I would rate them a 10 if that was possible! This is the kind of service my Grandfather used to talk about in prior generations. If I was advising Glenn, I'd tell him he could do with a bit less staff to be more profitable, but he'd never have it that way. Service comes first with these folks and that's something you just can't find anymore.

The garden center has a great selection of plants trees and flowers. They also help me with setting up my drip water system with timers.

My husband has done business with them for years and went there today and got welcomed by the manager, who that told him EVERYTHING in the store was 20% off only today. My husband found a grill that he had always wanted and went to pay for it and was told that it wasn't 20% off, it was already marked down. WTH? So not everything in the store was 20% off. Lying to people is becoming a habit in this country and obviously this manager. The manager lied and not only lost the sale, he lost a customer. Will take our business somewhere else from now on.
