We have been Club members for 8 years. Theo is so knowledgeable and her Vinegars & Olive Oils are divine. Not to mention tasting is beyond yummy! I use them for everything. :)

Referred by the Insta account "CookingforLevi". I've had previous experiences with specialty olive oils and balsamic vinegars so I was intrigued by their product line, especially it being locally produced (CA). Ordered the Strawberry Zen Golden and eagerly anticipated its arrival only to be disappointed at the condition (crushed box and soaked through - no vinegar for me). I reported this immediately through their email and response was so fast and positive! I received a replacement in less than a week (this time, intact!). Excellent customer service, a rarity nowadays, and I'm sure their product is just as superb! I may first try it as a sparkling shrub, then in a vinaigrette. I'm looking forward to ordering their olive oil soon.

Oil's Well That Ends WellLocally owned and grown olive oil company that saw its humble beginnings over 25 years ago (1996) when the founder, Theodora Stephan, planted her first olive trees in nearby Santa Barbara--with her first harvest in '98!Fast forward to today, and they've grown from a roadside farm stand to having won multiple award for their EVOO, as well as having two boutique stores, this one and one in Solvang, to go along with a mass production facility in nearby Buellton.The Good:*Friendly, no pressure customer service*They have monthly olive oil and balsamic vinegar clubs*Over 40 food products to choose from, including their award-winning EVOOs, balsamic vinegars, mustards, spices, sauces, and more.*All EVOOs are organically grown*Lotions, bath salts, and other skin care products*EVOO tastingsThe Meh:*Store is a bit on the smallish side and cramped for an ogre, such as myself.The Ugly:*A lot of prices are not displayed/not marked on the products. I know, I know if you have to ask... But, anywho, that's one of my pet peeves about places like this. It's not difficult to just make things clear.TLDR: Cute little store in a charming town. If you love EVOO like I do, then definitely check them out.

Like other locals, I love this place!! We are so fortunate that Global Gardens is here in the SYV! I love to bring out of town visitors here for olive oil tasting and I buy all the foodies on my gift list presents at Global Gardens all the time. Theo has the best hostess gifts and it is always fun to stop by the garden . The strawberry balsamic with basil olive oil is a favorite and I begin my holiday season with a bottle of the Italian evoo. It works it’s magic on all our holiday recipes. You will be glad you went!

Stopped in for Olive oil tasting with the family. The proprietor was unfriendly and gave us 9 tastings, including an olive and almonds, without stopping to allow us to enjoy each flavor. She poured 1 sample after another til she was done, then scooped uip our dishes and threw them away, giving us mo time to decide which flavors we liked, should we have decided to make a purchase. My mother wanted to buy an item, marked $10.00. They said it was $15.00 and would not honor the price marked. Items are very expensive and I would not purchase from this proprietor. Not returning. If you like being treated like a nuisance, stop in for a tasting.

These are best olive oils and vinegars!! Well worth it!! And make sure you get some Wonder Walnuts...so good! Lots of great gifts here too. And always friendly staff!

Product = 5 starsService = 0 starsOverall = 2.5As much as I have absolutely loved being a subscription member of Global Gardens (the product is fabulous and top notch!), I've unfortunately had two serious issues that continue to go unaddressed/completely ignored The product is exceptional but the business side of things is one of the worst I've ever seen. While reading prior bad reviews, I am not the only one that has faced lack of communication when it comes to questions/concerns/changes. If you never have any changes to your account or subscription, then you will have no issues. But if you have any questions or concerns, you can follow up/call multiple times and not receive any update. Seems that instagram was the best method of contact. If they can increase their customer service to even a level 2 or 3, I would continue to go with them but unfortunately this type of continued follow up and no way to contact them/get a response in any sort of a timely manner just doesn't work anymore. If you get the chance to go in person around Covid requirements, the tasting experience on site is also a fabulous time. It's really sad and unfortunate that it had to end this way as I can't even order things ad-hoc going forward as my bank put a permanent block on them as a vendor as I can't continue to stay on top of whether or not they have charged me or not :(For history:Apr 21 - requested change of address for my subscription since I relocated. Also requested an addition to my subscription via email. Received a quick response to the price and sizing. I confirmed the order + requested in separate email that day for an order be sent to my mother for mothers day. No confirmation receivedApr 24 - Followed up to see if the order was received/processed and confirm my order would be sent to the new address. No responseApr 29 - Followed up again. No response.May 10 - Followed up again requesting to CANCEL ALL ORDERS. Received an automated post about Covid-19 stating it could be a week or more before anyone hears from them.May 17 - tried contacting them via instagram. Received a response same day. Shared my email address and was told this slipped through the cracks. She said they were closed for 7+ weeks and my order fell through the cracks. Did apologize for the poor customer service and gave the benefit of the doubt given covid.May 18 - My subscription order was reshipped to my new address and the order was sent to my mother. Received an automated shipping notice. A bar of soap was included as a thank youMay 22 - shared their product on social media because it was that yummy!Jul 31 - My subscription order was shipped to my new address as plannedAug 23 - I moved out from my apartment and am staying with friends and family across the country and I emailed Theo to cancel my subscription all together since I was not going to have a home location. No responseOct 22 - I was charged again for my subscription. I followed up immediately asking for a refund as I'd requested a cancellation two months prior. No response.Oct 30 - Followed up asking for a refund. No responseNov 1 - Followed up asking for a refund informing Theo I would be filing a dispute with my credit card company if not addressed. No response.Nov 3 - My subscription was shipped to my old address (which I have not lived at since Aug 24), despite cancelling my subscription on Aug 23.Nov 17 - Filed a dispute with my bank and ordered a stop payment for all future payments from this vendor. Notified Theo of the reports to the bank and stop payment going forward. Received a forwarded email that was blank in response to my email today shortly after posting this review.

Products are great but customer service needs work. I've left 2 messages and sent 3 emails within the last 10 days with no response. Yet, the outgoing message on their voicemail states they reply to emails 7 days/week.

They have excellent products, and also offer olive oil and wine tastings. Worth visiting on its own merit but also serves as a cool stop to break up a day of wine tastings :)

We are quarterly, clubbies. Meaning we get an oil, a vinegar, and a nut, salt or spice. Everything is fabulous! Go for a taste testing, it will be hard to leave empty handed.
