This pharmacy has gone downhill. Wouldn’t recommend getting your medications at this location. The staff is not doing their job properly and just try and rush you out. I had picked up a medication that I take once a week. The medication has enough doses for a month. I had only received the medication for a month worth. The pharmacy is trying to say I received 3 months worth. Never have I received 3 months worth of that medication since I started taking that medication. I have always only received 1 month’s worth. I asked them to check their surveillance camera’s. The person I spoke to on the phone refused to do so and said I was “accusing them”. All I was telling them was that I never received 3 months worth of medication. The staff needs to do better and stop falsifying information on their system even if they have a lot of work to do. I am positive of what I received, therefore, I even asked them to check their cameras. Another thing they can do is check their INVENTORY. Unless one of them is doing shady stuff on the side. Also, their drive through is always out of service. This pharmacy is going downhill, it is understaffed and always messing up. I have been using this pharmacy for several years and it just gets worse every year. Most of the times they are “out of stock”. Will look for a new pharmacy!

The ABSOLUTE WORST pharmacy I have EVER used. STAY AWAY…unless you want to be told your prescription will be ready on a certain date, only to call back 4-5 times over a 2 week period only to be told they don’t have it and don’t know why someone would say the would! This has happened twice to me here…you have been warned…go to another pharmacy.

An okay Walgreens. The employees here seem a bit depressed. Maybe they don’t like their jobs? There’s a drive thru pharmacy here and it’s located next to a plastic surgeon office, dentist and other medical offices. I printed a photo on their photobooth and was pleased with the quality of the print.

I called to see if they could order a medication and after being passed around I was sent to the Pharmacist. She came off as being annoyed I was asking for assistance and spoke down to me. I felt like I was talking to a machine. No empathy for a healthcare provider.

If I could give this pharmacy a negative rating, I would. I waited on hold for AN HOUR AND A HALF to find out whether they had received a doctor's prescription for an upcoming surgical procedure. My doctor's email said that he had sent the prescription two days prior to the day that I called. When I finally spoke to someone at this Walgreens, they could not find the prescription. When I asked for help on alternative ways to ensure that they received the prescription so that I don't make an unnecessary trip to the pharmacy, the man answering the phone said that he was busy and put me back on hold. It was an unbelievable experience. I decided to not wait for him to pick up the phone again. This pharmacy is obviously understaffed, and the staff hired obviously don't care about their customers.

DO NOT get your prescriptions filled at this Walgreens. The pharmacist (Allison) was extremely rude and impatient from the get-go. Additionally, despite the doctor calling in the prescription 2 days prior, she didn’t have enough Amoxicillin in stock, refused to help us check stock at another branch (“you’ll just have to drive and check”), and would not accept our insurance card so we had to pay out of pocket. We went to the Walgreens on Marlow Rd to fill the remaining prescription and had great service and no issues with our insurance card. We all have bad days, but this pharmacist was completely unhelpful and unprofessional.

Well all I can say is they got an amazing manager Jose!! He was so helpful with everything I needed he knows his products and he let me use the bathroom!!

The only Walgreens that I've ever called that has treated me like a drug seeker for asking if they had my dosage of Adderall in stock before I had my prescription transferred over. Even though they were able to look up IN THEIR FILES that I have a prescription for this drug.They told me that they can't disclose what's in their Rx stock and that it's "walgreens policy."You are the only Walgreens that I've ever called that has refuse to answer this VERY simple question.Today you made me feel like slime.

5/16/23 Wow, nothing has changed with this Pharmacy from a year ago. Had to use this pharmacy (regrettably). Pharmacist w/an accent is extremely rude. First response after asking for a time frame is “I’m not going to argue with you”. They need better people to work in the pharmacy. I definitely won’t be back. CVS treats customers much better!If zero stars was an option, that is definitely what the pharmacy deserves. Wait times are ridiculous, very unprofessional and I will definitely not be returning.

Good luck when needing to use there bathroom. The lady that worked there told me I wasn’t able to use the bathroom. It is not open to the public. It is only for employees. So if your a doordash driver and needing to use the Bathroom. They will not let you use the bathroom. They will tell you to go to Burger King or Starbucks.

Walgreens needs to fix it's database and automation system. The website allows for vaccination appointments outside pharmacy hours, which staff cannot do. This place is also extremely short-staffed, at no fault of the pharmacist. We went to get a vaccine first thing in the morning, before opening, and the pharmacist was extremely stressed and overwhelmed because no one else showed up to work, literally. People were mad and the pharmacist looked like they wanted to cry and needed a hug/vacation. The store is otherwise well stocked, clean, and there's plenty of parking.

Forty eight minutes on hold for the pharmacy, only to be disconnected. Called store manager and was placed on another 10 minute hold. Was then transferred to a phone that rang unanswered for 30 rings. This is no exaggeration! Will be changing pharmacy tomorrow!

Always super long lines, overwhelmed staff, long wait time on phons, dropped calls, forgotten calls, and a hassle to get a prescription filled here. I am so happy that Amazon is getting into the pharmacy business because the lakes of Walgreens really shouldn’t exist anymore.

Just save yourself a whole lotta frustration and choose a different pharmacy. I get the same prescription every month and every month it is a hassle. I end being out of my medication for days or even weeks because they can't be bothered to refill unless you and your doctor have called it in at least 5 different times. And then if they do acknowledge your prescription, it is probably out of stock.And if you have a vaccination appointment that should take 10 mins, add at least an hour and half to that. It's happened twice to me already.

Update: Pharmacy service has vastly improved over the last couple of months. Still not great in that I have to make multiple trips for a single Rx sometimes. They are still understaffed, but not as badly as they were.Pharmacy: cannot refill a prescription with problems and delays. Couldn't honor my vaxx appt. Whoever is in charge shouldn't be.

I attempted to use a chain pharmacy rather than a local pharmacy because of my travel schedule and because I need a pharmacy that is open on Sundays. I attempted to use Walgreens pharmacy on Sonoma Highway in Santa Rosa. My advice- is DO NOT even attempt to use this pharmacy or the app that they provide. I have spent four days trying to get prescriptions that are not controlled substances, are important to my physical health. The situation is still not resolved after four attempts of communication between my doctor and this said pharmacist. Healthcare providers are so understaffed at this time and for a pharmacy not to be able to function, and do it due diligence has the potential to harm the community. My next attempt at a corporate pharmacy is CVS. Do not under any circumstances use Walgreens pharmacies.

Not only is Walgreens pharmacy understaffed - the process they have for refunding transactions is so awful. I’m recently unemployed and I need to get a very vital and important medication monthly. I’m in between insurances and need to pay out of pocket until I am on a new insurance. I needed to save up $700 for this medication and I finally was able to pay for it. The pharmacy then told me it was inactive and put it away and I wasn’t able to get the medication. The refund for the pending charge will take up to TWO WEEKS. Yet, the app allowed me to pay for this prescription as well as get a fast pass. The staff were trying to be as helpful as possible but the head pharmacist was cold, unpleasant and rude as I tried to understand this messed up system with a very understanding and calm demeanor (I know how busy and hard their job is especially during COVID). She was so cold and unhelpful to me that I teared up in the store and needed to sit in my car as I tried to frantically figure out how to get this important medication I ALREADY PAID FOR!!! My doctor’s office was blown away at how awfully they handled this situation. I will be switching pharmacies and do not recommend them to anyone.

My mother and I arrived at 6:50pm for our 7:00pm covid vacine appointment. SAM was incredibly awful rude. He said the pharmacy close at 7:00 and refused to give us vacine. We have called to confirm the appointment before we come in. He kept repeating and encouraging us to call to complain. He didn't book the appointment. We were too late. The website allows people to book until 7:30pm. I hope the manager should have to SAM the way treated people. I understand the company may be short people but it doesn't mean they should pay for people like SAM to work there. And SAM should different career. You don't fit to be a pharmaceutical staff. You are such an incredible awful mean and rude person i have ever encountered. You should be ashamed of yourself collecting pay check and not even do your job.

I absolutely HATE this place! Besides the fact that every time I go there (Hwy 12) for a prescription it is a half hour ordeal, today's screw-up was unforgivable and possibly life threatening. I came down with covid and needed an antiviral medication that needs to be taken within a couple of days of symptoms. The prescription was called in last night. I expected it to be filled this morning. Nothing. I wait until 4pm. Their useless app says it was filled. I drive over there only to be told that they were out of it and should have it in within 3-4 DAYS; like that is helpful! I received no phone call or text message. Their app did not indicate anything other than it was filled. Since I have some medical conditions that make me more vulnerable to covid, I really need this. Apparently Walgreens does not care. I am going to stick with Safeway from now on.Edit 7/22: Over a week later I got an email notice that my prescription is now ready...when it is completely useless. Fortunately Safeway came through when needed and I survived covid.

This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy in the Bay Area. Avoid at all costs, *per the store manager.* Understaffed for years. It took three months to fill the prescriptions I had transferred here. Then a provider accidentally sent a another prescription here and it took an hour on the phone to confirm it would be filled. When I arrived, they were closed for an unscheduled lunch break and I waited another half hour. Bad, bad, bad.

This Walgreens Pharmacy department is terrible. I guess they are overworked and under staffed. In any case my wife and I have had a number of issues with them when we need to refill prescriptions. For example: I am almost out of my Amlodipine Besylate so I used the automated phone system to request a refill. My prescription bottle says I have 3 refills available before January 31 of next year. I received a text saying that they needed to get approval from the prescribing physician. It also said to call the pharmacy if I had questions. So I called the number and picked the proper option to speak with a pharmacist. I was put on hold and periodically told that they were very busy and that there were more than 3 people ahead of me. This went on for several minutes finally I heard "we are very busy you are number 2 in line" yay'! I was getting close finally the phone was picked up "please hold" waited and waited then a ringing sound so I was sure they would pick up soon. Ringing, ringing and ringing then......dial tone. According to my phone this call had lasted 59 minutes and I never got to speak to anyone. GRRRRRR

my partner and I went to this Walgreens to see what all the low review hype was about. overall it was a positive experience, though they did not have pillsbury biscuits, which I was specifically looking for. to be fair, it is rather unrealistic to expect a drugstore to carry this product. 1 star removed for not calling us slurs (this would have enhanced the Walgreens experience) thank you and have a nice day

I was on hold with the pharmacy for 25 minutes and they never picked up the phone. I called the main number to see if the pharmacy was open, they said yes and put me thru. Still no answer. So I called again and asked to speak to a manager. He said that he would go back and have them answer. We’ll once again they did not. I am done with this store. I will transfer all my meds to someone else who wants my business because they sure as hell do not. I have always had a problem with this store since day one.

Worst pharmacy/convenience store I’ve ever visited. Routinely terrible experiences every time I go. The wait for pharmacy is always an hour or more, and when I get to the counter, they rarely have the prescriptions that they called to say were already ready. I feel bad for the people that work there - they’re quite obviously understaffed, and that usually means one person covering all of the check-outs as well as the photo stand, which is frustrating to customers and stressful on the employees, and they all seem to hate their jobs, as one previous commenter wrote. Generally dirty and usually under stocked.

Tried Walgreens, not regulars. I have been the only person in the drive thru for the last 20 min and have rang the call button every 10min and have been told to wait without even being able to respond. Horrible customer service, We will leave and transfer prescriptions elsewhere.

Everyone there is super kind. They definitely put up with a lot of very negative people, and they always keep a positive and professional demeanor. That is not an easy task. So I have so much empathy for the pharmacy staff here, especially because regardless of all the negative people they deal with, they’re kind, and show up every day to help people.

Terrible service especially at pharmacy. I call and they say the prescription is done and it's not. They say to wait ten minutes and it's 40. People wait in the drive through pharmacy for an hour. Not organized. Lose prescriptions. STAY AWAY. Go anywhere else. Multiple bad experiences, will never return.

Walgreens is usually good, especially the one on Sonoma Highway 12. It's clean, well cared for, well stocked, great staff. They also hire people with disabilities and train everyone effectively. Their app has been off with Rxs,(only reason it's not a 5 star) but they work hard to get things situated.

I would give 0 stars if I could.Worst pharmacy ever! Stay away if you have cancer and need a reliable pharmacy!! They will always have drugs in "back ordered" status and can keep you waiting for a week for a refill, and afterwards just tell you that "nobody ordered it" and you should have your doctor "prescribe you. something else"! No empathy for people with severe life threatening illness, they just don't care....this has happen already few times, and it has become a habit. it was our pharmacy of choice only because the closest to drive to. If you or your loved ones need a reliable pharmacy for drugs indispensable to continue to live on, pass on this one.
