So here's a quick review,I've had mii California King 👑 🐍 for around a month, it didn't wanna eat frozen Pinkie's 🐀, so went and got it live one from here! I asked a question of why they gave me such a big brown bag well thankfully I had my snake in the car, I threw it in the brown paper bag and within 15 minutes I opened it and it was like magic YIN ☯️ YANG ate finally.

My dog was having stomach issues and made a mess all over the car. The two women working at the time were very friendly and helpful. I was able to bathe my dog and get cleaning supplies for the car. I was having an extremely stressful day and losing my mind, haha, and I couldn't have had a better experience coming here. If I lived in the area this would be my pet store, no question.

I'm always so impressed by this adorable little pet store! The customer service here is just truly outstanding. From the moment I walked in the door I knew this was the perfect shop for me! I mean, honestly, everything was organized perfectly and the employees were packed with knowledge! They answered every question I had, no matter how absurd it was. Have to admit i dont know to many places that carry live feeder mice, happy to say my snakes get fed because of village pets. Thank you for having the most difficult item to obtain.

I love this place for cat food and pet supplies! Everyone that works here is always so friendly. They provide more specialty food too which is nice. I got my cat's collar engraved here and we've bought tons of toys here too. Great local pet store if you want to support independent businesses!

Although the shop is small and their choices are somewhat limited, I've noticed their staff is always willing to help out if an item isn't available on site. They do offer a good selection of good. Their staff is always helpful and greets you when you walk in. The parking is shared with the other stores in the shopping center, but I've never had to park too far away. I'll always stop here on my way home from work if I need something for the dogs.

It is the only store in Sonoma county where I can buy live feeder rats, which are a little more expensive than I would like, but it is all I got. The staff is great though! Friendly and helpful.

I rarely buy pet supplies here, although their supply seems to be good. I use it for the self serve dog washing facilities, which are adequate and although more than I’d like to pay, much easier. My complaints with them are two. Sometimes the water is cold. You don’t know until you’ve loaded the dog in the tub and started the progress. They had a loyalty program I didn’t find out about for many years. As soon as I started it, they discontinued it. Neither of these annoyances have stopped me from using their services, nor has the price of $15 dollars a dog. I wouldn’t recommend the nail clipping service, the young woman didn’t know what she was doing.

Never been a time that the people that work there are not amazing at not only having patience with my dog ofcourse but with me &other people around me. They have a great knowledge at what they do and have an amazing facility that has a multi-use purpose if you're not aware you can clean your dog inside this place in a cool tub with this easy load walk up ramp for your dog. So for people that don't know it's pretty cool if you don't want to tie your doggy up to the tree in the backyard or use your own tub they offer a really cool system where you can use nice warm water plenty of dry towels organic shampoo and even a vacuum dry off for your dog afterwards which is equipped with this really awesome foot pedal that you push which allows the table to go up or down depending on how big your dog is so you don't have to bend over as much or just make it easier on your dog for those harder to vacuum spots. I can't remember the exact price for what it is to wash your dog but it's like less than fifteen bucks super inexpensive your dog loves it and there's always free treats. 👍💞🐺

This little store has everything for your pet. In a huge bonus is that they have a dog wash in the back. The dog washes self serve. Huge stainless steel dog sinks. They provide the towels and shampoo. And there's blow dryer. Try it & like it

Would give less than one star if I could.As a weekly/biweekly customer of this store for at least the last year, I have to write in today, to share my profoundly bad experience with an employee/manager identified as Brie.I have a medium sized lizard and shop for his food and dog food quite often at this store. I have always been invited back into the rodent back stock area to make a decision on the size of rodent i will be buying since as with any live rodent purchase there is a continuum of pinky to fuzzy to hopper.In the past the employees of this store have always treated me respectfully and have in no way made me feel embarrassed or unwelcome like Brie did today. I will not be returning to this store, and I would warn off others who don't want to run the risk of being spoken to disrespectfully by the Manager / Person in Charge, in an extremely unfriendly and unprofessional manner, inconsistent with other employee's practices.You have been warned!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Simply why: AMAZING selection of quality brands (no grains or fillers in these ingredients!), MOST NOTABLY options at ALL pricepoints, INCREDIBLY convenient location, SUPER organized, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They took an interest in my pet and my pet's needs which helped me navigate the many different options offered.So what this means for our family is no more ordering off the internet (Chewy or Amazon), driving far or making a special trip to an inconvenient location to get what my pet needs (Ace Hardware in Sebastpol or Pet Club in Santa Rosa), no more not being able to find quality or having to pay out the wazoo for something healthy (Pet Smart, Target & WalMart).Our cat is over a year old so I wish I went into this shop sooner (you know at least one of the thousand times I passed it!) but now I will be here all the time.On a sort of unrelated point that has more to do with the customer service side of things here: I was so captivated by all of the incredible choices that I set down my phone in the most random spot (on silent ofcourse). I didn't know I lost my phone until I already left the store and I rushed back as soon as I realized it was missing, but alas the phone was no where in direct sight. Andrea to the rescue! There were a lot of ppl line and I was trying not to freak out because I need my phone for work BUT Andrea cool, calm, & collected helped all of the customers while proactivly helping me with my mini drama. Success! Found it on top of a bag of dry cat food. I know it may not seem like the biggest deal but it helped me out more then she can ever know and for that I give Village Pets for hiring exceptionally patient and helpful people.

The staff is very knowledgeable about products... Today was Baxter's first time in... He was greater with a cookie, lovins and praise... We LOVE Village pets! I've visited a feed store in town... Not impressed. Baxter is my new companion and he approves... 🐕💕

I was in the area attending a wedding. My lil pup needed some CBD products to calm her down for anxiety, which they happened to carry. Both staff members were extremely helpful. Went above and beyond to help me choose the right product for my baby Bella. I ended up with Super Snouts and a trial pack of Treatibles. The shop had a ton of products to choose from any where from food, treats, and accessories. If I'm in the area ever again, I will definitely be coming back for my fur baby needs.

More of a convenience pet store. Prices are a little higher but that should be expected. They have most everything you need but isles are small and tight. Service is excellent. Just a little too small for all the products they are trying to display.

A locally owned, not big box, store with a couple of locations. A lot of products for dogs, cats, birds and other small pet is neatly and logically arraned in a relatively small space.There is even a DIY dog bath space in back, remaining from an earlier pet store there that also offered grooming services.While the staff average age skews young (from the vantage point of my mid-60s), they are all nice, knowledgeable and helpful.In the same shopping center as Raley's and Ace Hardware on the NW corner of Fulton x Guerneville, Village Pets is easy to get to with plenty of parking.

Get my pet food from only this store, great service and they have a pet food program where you buy 10 bags and get one free along with a points program. Comes in handy when you’re feeding a 150lb Malamute
