I am always working on projects, usually needing some random obscure piece of hardware to get to the finish line. Frequently, I can’t find the hardware anywhere except this store. The staff is always checking to see if you need help, and they’re very helpful in being creative to find you what you need. I needed a very specific spring coil mechanism this morning, went in to this true value, and the staff checked multiple departments to get me multiple options for my project, and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Always worthwhile to come here and get whatever you need, and I’m very happy to have them in my neighborhood. It’s incredible that they seem to have everything under the sun in a relatively small space..

I had run over something, like paint, and it was all over my back wheel and tire.Asking for assistance from a younger gentleman, he got some really good advice for me from another gentleman. After trying to get the white stuff off of the wheel with a pressure washer with absolutely 0 success, my advice was to use a heavy duty citrus cleaner. Wheel was clean in 20 minutes.Thanks for the knowledgeable advice.

Told the cashier multiple times what the price on their sign was and after being ignored multiple times I was still charged more. The sign clearly says $12.50 for pavers 60FD. After waiting for someone to check the price I was charged $25.00. I didn’t have the patience to argue this much incompetence.

I absolutely love this place!! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Excellent, excellent Customer service, buts that's what they're known for... If you need a bolt or a nut that no one else carries, these folks will have it. Plus, they have a surprisingly good Military Surplus section. Highly recommend!!!!

Great for a trip to the Hardware Store. Great staff. Many, many services:from equipment rental, wood slabs, party tent and furniture rental, military surplus, fabrication, propane, ... and - oh yeah! fully stocked with HARDWARE!2022The neighborhood hardware store is still my first stop whenever I need a new doohickey to finish a project. The folks that work here are always helpful & polite. If you can describe your project they will help you figure out what you need. If you know what you need they can tell you exactly where to find it. Add this place to your DIY tool kit!If they don't have what you need they can frequently get it, or if it's urgent they can tell you where to look next.I was able to get no-flat tubeless tires for my hand-trucks and wheelbarrows, as well as retractable hanging power cords for the shop. Always ask!2023Still one of the best hardware stores in the area. I can go in and explain my problem and the folks working here always understand and are able to help me with the correct solution, even if I haven't considered that method yet!

I have always liked this store until today. I went back in today to purchase more Covid tests. I noticed they were all outdated and when I brought it to the attention of a young lady behind the counter, her response was “we know, that is why they are on sale.” Funny thing is they were the same price as before. I said I hope your customers realize they are out dated and she said we are going to put up a sign saying so.

I love this place. They have a much better hardware selection than the big box stores. The military surplus stuff is fun to look at, and I am always approached for help, usually by multiple people. Much better than the big box stores where you spend a long time trying to find someone to help you. It's my neighborhood store, and I always go there first.

Best hardware store in Sonoma County. There level of service is superb. The staff is knowledgeable. I have used their rental services several times over the past 12 years for events as well as renting tractors, tree splitters, cherry pickers and many other items. Other stores really don't seem to care about your project, but Jim's staff will help you at every step if you ask. Also had a tractor problem one time and it took 2 days to get it repaired these wonderful people felt so bad they reduce the rental fee to 3 hours when I used it for 6 so I will always return to the friends on Lystra Ct.

Seriously the best hardware store in town. They have everything (even fishing stuff) and the staff is right there when you walk in. Why get lost in a warehouse when you can go here! In and out in minutes with the right stuff!!!

Forget the big box stores go to these guys they can answer any questions you may have. They can also make suggestions and they will order what you need if not in the store. If they don't have it you don't need it.
