I’ve been taking my dog Luke here for 6 years. I’ve been treated with nothing but respect. Yesterday two groomers called out sick so naturally we had to reschedule. This happens at ALL businesses that have clientele and or patients. Understandable. So of course I was happy to reschedule. To my surprise Jenelle kindly opened her business on her off day Sunday to accommodate the animals needing their grooms during the busy holiday season. What a wonderful person that went out of their way to open their business up on a day they are not normally open. Thank you.

Trim and proper did an amazing job on my dog Rio! She has never looked so amazing after a grooming appointment. They were very easy to communicate with and got her in very quickly for a deluxe spa experience. They knew exactly how to groom an Australian Shepherd and that eased my mind as an Aussie’s fur is not meant to be cut except the butt (if desired) and around the paws because of their special double coat. I was able to trust them 100% with our girl! Can’t wait to come back!

We have taken our Aussie here since the start of 2022 and they always do an excellent job at a reasonable price. Our Aussie gets nervous around new people but they seem to handle her really well and they always tell us that she does a great job during the grooming. Would definitely recommend.

I loved this place until today and have taken my dog her for about a year monthly however my husband was pretty much told our business relationship was no longer working out and we can longer take our dog here due to canceling too many times. Trim and Proper canceled on us once. (I don’t care what your excuse was, you cancelled on us the day of.) I work night shift at a local hospital and slept a little later than I meant to and my dog was 5 minutes late. The first time I cancelled it was a little bit late notice and I was told I needed to give a days noticed for any cancellation and got charged a fee. Whatever. Understood and paid. We had a family emergency and are on our way out of town so we called this morning. Thursday. to cancel for an appointment that was scheduled mid morning SATURDAY. We were told if we would have called at 9am it would have been fine and we wouldn’t have been charged (even though we gave more than a days notice). If you have a life that may have minor inconveniences that may cause any need to reschedule anything I highly DONT recommend going here.

I cannot believe I am writing this review. My dog has been a client at this establishment for almost 4 years, my dog is 5. After today's interaction never again. I had to cancel my dog's appointment since her hair was too short to cut. An appointment reminder text was sent Saturday from Trim and Proper but I didn't see it until Monday I was working.. ok my fault but life happens. I responded Monday and asked to reschedule, no response. Apparently they are closed Sunday and Monday so if you need to cancel a Tuesday appointment the last day to do it would've been Saturday. Btw, the number I texted is an actual cell phone. Not an automated line. I gave 24hr notice. Wouldn't it be good practice to send a text Friday instead to give your client time to respond? Even if I responded Saturday it wouldn't have been a full days notice.I get a text this morning saying since my dog wasn't coming in I would have to pay for half the cost of the grooming since I didn't get back to them Saturday. Now, I understand policy but we have been clients for so long and never have had to cancel "last minute". However when she has called to cancel short notice, no problem here. I'm guessing I should've charged her a fee and asked for a credit towards our next groom? Anyways, I asked if the fee could be waived this once since we've been long time customers and the answer was no which card do you want to use? After I plead my case all of my pleas were ignored and instead I was asked which card I want to pay with AGAIN.At that point my hands were tied and we decided we had to bring her in. During pick up my husband went in and expressed his dismay about how things were handled on their end and Janelle immediately became rude and dismissive. She wasn't apologetic, she wasn't caring. Janelle even went as far as calling me a liar. Excuse me? For someone who has "worked in customer service all her life" we can't tell. She tried to throw me under the bus multiple times and was unwilling to hear anything, interrupting many times. It's not the matter of policy it's ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Over a cancellation charge of $35.00 she lost consistent customers who book every 6-8 weeks and pay over $100 a visit including tip! We've literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars with her. How rudely we were treated is unforgivable. I guess her long term clients don't matter since she's in such "high demand". Oh well.

I am soooo glad (!) we tried this pet grooming business. Excellence from start to finish. Best grooming our Russell terrier has had in 8 years. Great communication using texts and phone, and the cost is quite reasonable. Thank you to Victoria and Jennifer for everything. We've already made our next appointment!

Brought my guy Iggy in for the first time last week and he came out looking great! His appointment was at 2pm and he was done a bit before they closed at 5pm. I got a text about 20 minutes before he was done so I had time to drive over when he was finished. He was in great spirits and looked so gosh darn handsome! SO happy to have found this place. They are awesome!
