Good store, the sushi sales are extremely helpful. The prices are a bit up there, but the food is quality. Not the most perfect store and experiences aren’t always perfect and some food may not be in the store, but the experiences are usually good. The rewards system is also very nice.

I stopped by this location on the way home from work for Coffee creamer. I go to the express line of 12 items or less to see the lady in front of me have 40 plus items. I put my creamer on the conveyer belt and the customer rudely says to me “she’s closed, and I’m her last customer. Go to a different line.” The associate laughed and said nothing to me so I picked up my creamer and went to the line next to her. The employee proceeds to laugh again with the customer and tell her good job for “telling me off.” Another customer walks up after and she takes them. I asked for the store manager and she just shrugged her shoulders and did nothing.This store is less than a mile from my house and I do most of my shopping here. I will not be back.

This is a well run store. The Checkers are friendly. The shelves are well stocked. It is a classic american Super Market. We often shop here.

It's a busy store. So get there early. They have good sales on alcohol. Loving the $5 Friday sales! Their floral seasonal items are always so great!

Never been treated so rudely by a checker. Had only 4 items at check out and the clerk was downright hostile. Had my clubcard ready and went to swipe when was abruptly told not too, she would be quicker, which was fine. She then proceeded to glare and instead of thank you was told "We are done here!" Followed with a glare. Have no idea what deserved that treatment.

I'm a petitioner, any safeway has always been the best place to collect signatures, but the other day i was there, having a good day, getting lots of signatures, when a young lady came outside, along with a guy with a chip on his shoulder, ready to put me in my place. She started telling me why I couldn't petition on "private property", she was wrong, I explained the law to her about more than 1 business in a parking lot is a strip mall, and legal for me to collect signatures. She was very rude, purposely starting an argument, just to show off her athority, is what it seemed to me. Threatening that if I stay, whatever happens, happens. I couldn't believe this girl, at her age aprox 20 yrs old, with her schoolyard fight attitude, was in charge of a Safeway grocery store.Safeway on 4th st. Santa Rosa Ca.

Bakery has been always excellent . Christie has made my babies cakes for years but today they went above and beyond I had a cake made 30min before the end of her work day on Saturday. It's a good grocery store, but it feels like their prices have gotten really high lately. Costco has the same stuff for about 60% of their price on most items. For example, they are charging 3.99 for 8 oz of sliced cheese, or you can get 32oz for about 10.99 at Costco. Pretty much across the board, they are charging more for less. But they do have very friendly staff/checkers, a great deli, fish shop, butcher, and a huge produce section with abundant organic options. Overall a decent supermarket, but you can get more for less if you are willing to leave the valley.

Workers are lazy. Starbucks employee would not heat up a bagel, i got from bakery, starbucks no longer offers..person just had a im am bothering her attitude. And did not have the coffee brewed yet, that i wanted. Full of excuses..

The selection is great, but the overhead speakers are way too loud! I need to stop and plug my ears when they make announcements.I do like the availability of organic foods. They need to offer more canned cat foods like Fancy Feast chicken but less seafood (May be harmful to female cats).

Feb 14, lots of cool valentine gifts, for me and mine 4 large chocolate covered strawberry. Also buy2 get3 free 12 pk cokes. Also I picked up a $9 Deli meal, 1 entre & 2 sides, the Sicilian Pasta was amazingI will return .It is my go to place and the food selection is goodDeli is good . I enjoy shopping there.A Great Store with Great SelectionsI'm visiting from Texas and I enjoyed getting what I needed and what I wanted.I will return

Having been in San Diego for 38 years, with Vons as our go-to local grocery store, having a Safeway within walking distance is quite natural. It's the same. Good for the basics. I'd be fine shopping only here, but I enjoy variety and living in Sonoma County, fresh produce is easy to find elsewhere.I hate "self checkout" at grocery stores, so I usually need to wait in line for the one real checker they usually have. If it's busy, they have more, but it's never enough. I don't go to the store to be nagged constantly by the computer at self--checkout, so I endure the lines. So unpleasant.

I ordered my groceries for drive up and go at 6:30 this morning and set it for pick up at 7pm. I got an email at 7 saying it was delayed and I figured it was only by a bit, which was okay because I had to drive over from school anyways. I got there at 7:35 and called saying I was here to see if maybe it was almost ready and the employee who picked up my call, an older lady, was incredibly rude. She was sighing the minute she picked up. She then told me that my order hadn't even been started yet because of short staffing. I do not blame her at all for being short-staffed, I work in customer service and I understand being short-staffed. I do blame the store and management for not being able to schedule well enough to complete a grocery order in the 13 hours they were given. I'm also disappointed with the level of customer service the employees have at this store. I hope management can address and solve these issues so I don't have to make another half hour drive out of my way to pick up groceries late.

I like this particular store, it's clean, employees are very nice & helpful. Only downfall is we all shop there so it's busy, but the staff checks us out fairly quickly and always with a smile.

The store itself is always very clean and staff are all super cool. Great Whiskey selection or i should say great booze selection. I think i might be in live with the brunette gal that sometimes works the customer service counter.. Everytime I see her I5⁵⁰p seem to forget name, where I live, who I am, that my wife is sitting in the hot car without water and windows up....(totally kidding, we aren't married.. jk🤭🤫🤪😅🤣😂) I do really love this place!!! Its my go to.

This review is for,Six, Flags,in Vallejo California.. NOT, Safeway.The posted pricing upon entry, could really be more clear. Everyone had to ask the ticketing staff what was available, and it really slowed down the process.Also the map application is not very usable , as it is too small to view on a smart phone. Corporate needs to go ahead and spend a little of the profits on a park map.Half the food concessions were closed.(,probably due to shortages).On a positive note, most of the staff were cheerfull and genuinely helpfull.This review was for six flags Vallejo California, not Safeway . Maybe this site could use a review?

Much improved lately...was beginning to worry I'd have to take my business elsewhere but it seems that they are going back in the right direction now...produce looks more organized, cleanliness of store is much improved(possibly due to Covid 19)..customer service here has always been good but even that feels upgraded lately. Keep it up please. Now if we could just do something about the small parking spots...time for a re-paint and larger parking spots.👍

I guess after the holidays they're out of a lot of products. They do not have any self rising flour which is the specific reason I went there for. No lettuce looked really tired. I'll have to try another store later.

People are lovely. They don't have an isle for magazine's just at front counter so that means no Archie comic books or puzzle books. Went to another Safeway and they had what I was looking for.

Pretty disappointed in my local Safeway store right now! Not only is there is no one disinfecting the carts, they seldom have anything for you to do it yourself. If there is something for you to self clean a cart with, it is gel hand sanitizer. They are not limiting the amount of customers so the store is crowded, no one is following the 6 feet social distancing rule and I often see people with their mask not covering their nose. Mind you this is a market that has a very large geriatric population that shops there! The produce department is awful!!! In a time were we need good food to keep us healthy, often I find wilted "fresh" vegetables, 1/2 rotten bagged salad and micro-greens, mold on all the shallots around Thanksgiving time, bruised fruits. Either I can't find a produce staff member to ask a question or they have a bad attitude when I do ask! The checkers are NOT wiping down the conveyor belts or any other surfaces around the register, counter or point of service card readers, YET as customers we are not allowed to put our own bags on the counters to keep from cross contamination??? Myself and my family members have shopped at this Safeway for over 30 years and we have all commented on how poor the service, quality of care and pride of store has gone down. I wonder who is managing this store?

They decided to close an hour early apparently due to being short-staffed but they were open a little bit before 12:00 when I was there picking up an order it's like okay you guys are short staffed what's preventing you from staying there until closing time it'd be understandable if they had to stay open for 24 hours and they didn't have enough coverage but they were literally closing at 1:00 and and then reopening at 5:00

Usually my experience is good but this last trip I had to go back into the store twice because of mistakes on my bill. I just wanted to essential shop and get out of there. On my way back in an unmasked and ungloved associate wanting to know if he was the checker in question, came too close and grabbed my receipt from me as I backed away. When I mentioned my discomfort he answered sarcastically, that he would take that into consideration. No apology or sincere acknowledgement whatsoever.

This store is pretty good sized so it has more variety. There is a deli and the mest and produce are good. Its usually pretty crowded.
