Beyond thrift, this is a gem of a store! I wish they could all be like Pick Of The Litter Thrift & Gift Shop.PRO:- Quirky and lovely- Excellent prices, not over inflated like Goodwill- Nice staff- A great selection of antique and one of a kindCON:- Limited parking- Not the biggest store so selection can get snapped up pretty fast.SUMMARY:Curated to a high degree - I can say this is one of nicest thrift stores I've had the pleasure to shop in the North Bay. I come here often as I can and I always find something that I treasure.

Well-organized, and about half decently priced (the other half is overpriced). Lots of books, DVDs, paintings, and objects- not a lot of clothes. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

Good selection, well organized. Used to be able to shop here but prices have gotten ridiculously high on most items. I used to donate here but no longer. They have pricesd people out. $$

Organized and clean! An amazing space that helps cats in Sonoma County. Really does not get much better than this.

My new favorite thrift store! Prices are cheaper than Goodwill, and the clothing selection is quite good (mostly good condition and stylish clothing). Got all this for $58! And the price was only pushed up by a more expensive Anthropologie top.

I love that aside from cool thrift store finds, they also have a special section for cat books and some specific toys made for cats. A couple of visits ago they had cat grass which my cat absolutely loved!

Diverse selection of prints; descent quality ceramics, etc. Hit and miss but worth checking out regularly 😉

Well organized, good prices. The won't sell something with no price tag which makes sense. People will remove them trying to get a lower price. They aren't that high and this isn't goodwill or a big corporation thrift store. They're small and trying to take care of lots of animals.

Always fun finds, great staff are super friendly. Pets are welcome to shop with their humans, so my cat enjoys going as well. He ALWAYS finds something! The book selection is one of the best I've ever seen at a thrift store.

Clean and neatly organized. Staff was friendly and talented. Look what was on sale made by one of the staff members! I wish I could've bought it.

This is my favorite thrift store. It is clean, the staff is wonderful, this store is organized and good prices. They have a great linen selection, I love me some vintage sheets, so crisp! Huge book, CD and dvd selection. I always find treasures here, you can also purchase a discount card for I believe $25 and every purchase you get 10% off. One of my favorite reasons to shop here is that I know the profits go to help kitties!😻❤

Cool housewares, decent selection of clothing. Not much men's wear. Worth a stop in every few months for a browse, but nothing spectacular.

This has been my absolute favorite thrift store in Santa Rosa since I moved back here. The staff, they are gems, so helpful and kind. Most all of my clothes and shoes that I own have been purchased at Pick of the Litter. The store is very clean, easy to negotiate , the prices are very fair and the quality is the best! I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. You all are the best!!!

Such an amazing thrift store!! There are such scores to find here. Glasses cases are $.50 each! Clothes at such a bargain! They are always having 50% off sales too. My new favorite gem in Santa Rosa! 😍

Small store, extremely well organized, with decent prices.Every single item is clearly tagged with the price, and everything is in its place. The staff is kind and helpful. As of March 2021, due to COVID-19, the store capacity is limited to 12 people, and 20 min shopping time. Since this store is popular, even on an early afternoon on a week day there was a line at the door, about 15 min wait. There was a big sign at the door, to indicate where the line started, everything is clearly posted. Parking can be a challenge, unless you ignore the signs marking spaces for the neighboring businesses.

It's a nice little store, but it has a very diverse inventory. The staff was very friendly, and it was an amazing shopping experience!

Best thrift I've ever donated to plus I always find some fabulous unique goodies to take home at great prices. Have many items to donate ASAP...time to load up the car.Would dearly love to adopt a needy half Siamese black kitten in super near future!Pick of the Litter is my 'go to' place. Probably won't know the current volunteers but trusting they will keep up the fine tradition of great people

This store is a Forgotten Felines business and I believe all the proceeds go to FF.What I love about the stock that they carry is the level of quality they choose and they regularly have Mano y Mano brand clothing which is one of my faves. Great prices. I am a cat colony caretaker, so I totally love to spend my money there, to help support the kitties!

This is definitely a more "high-end" thrift shop, in terms of cost & quality. Clean, and nicely arranged. Sometimes they are under staffed behind the register. Last time I was there, one older, hard working woman was handling the whole place.Pro: High quality, neat, clean, and lots of room.Con: Prices are high, slow, and unprofessional staff.

This is a mid-sized shop serving a cause very close to my heart, cats. The store has plenty of clothes for men and women. Furnishings, books, appliances, dishes, cds, DVDs, and some BDs. They take a wide assortment of donations. But calling ahead to verify what they take is recommended. Best of all...there is a room where you can spend time with the cats they have there for adoption. The stock changes quickly so go in often.

Many items on the floor are not marked. Really stinks when you find a good gift and they tell you they cannot sell it. I mean for christ sakes everything is DONATED FOR FREE. I legit just donated hundreds of dollars worth and I will never donate here again.

Got to the counter and the woman said the blanket I'd found was too nice to be priced so low, so she went to the back and asked them to price it higher. Frustrating because thrift is supposed about finding good deals and recycling used goods. If I wanted to pay higher price I could just buy new from the store. Wanted to help the cats, but can't see myself thrifting somewhere where they increase prices at the register. Bummed because it is a good cause.

This is one of Santa Rosa's best thrift stores. Not only does it offer more upscale items still at thrift store prices, but all the proceeds go to preventing are feral cat population. Including catching spay neutering Henry release of our feral cats as well as adoption and care of these cats and colonies.

I love this place, my first time there was a great experience. Nice kept up place with very friendly staff. And the fact that they help out cats is icing on the cake. Only thing was it seemed there was more women's clothes than men's. But other than that I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Lots of women's clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories in great condition and style. Home goods and kitchen supplies, as well as bedding, toys, and games. Neat shop supporting a great charity with reasonable & cheap prices.

They used to take care of cats and when I was there they had one token cat that wasn't available to anyone that was lonely in a locked huge room alone. Staff was rude and uppity. Whatever you do don't try to return ANYTHING, I had bought something and realized it was broken and couldn't be repaired even before I left the store. They wouldn't take it back Very disheartening.

A recently expanded thrift store whose profits are use to help our feline friends. I is well organized with the clothing clearly marked, a good selection on household items and good parking. They also sell a small amount of decent furniture.

Pick of The Litter is definitely one of the best thrift stores in Sonoma County. The store is organized and clean, and the prices are always good! They do different deals all the time (i.e. half off yellow tag, $2 purple tag clothes, fill a paper brown bag with books for $5) and they always have a good selection. Pick of The Litter directly supports one of the most important resources for cats (especially strays and ferals): Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County. They do wonderful work taking care of the colonies of ferals and fostering and adopting out kittens. I never feel like my money is wasted here, because I know its going to such a great place. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. This place deserves more than 5 stars, thats for sure!

Amazing little Sonoma County jewel. They recently opened another portion of the shop for repurposed vintage treasures and DIY ideas. Incredible gently used items in the rest of the shop. Proceeds go to forgotten felines in the area. Lovely ladies that work the shop!!
