Took my dog in today for a nail trim which we have done in the past. The reason why I am putting a one star review is because two of my poor dogs paws were bleeding! Cristina was who trimmed his nails. I noticed this when I was driving back home and noticed blood on my shirt and then saw that two of his legs were bloody. His nails were cut way too short and they were bleeding. Petsmart do better! I trusted that the workers knew what they were doing. Very disappointed. Will not be coming back.

Great staff at this location! Super nice and helpful and stocked with lots of goodies! Inside the Costco and Target center on Santa Rosa Ave. Lots of parking out front!

I would give them zero stars if I could. I asked for large crickets for my 2ft bearded dragon and just because one of the employees mixed all the crickets together doesn’t mean mix the crickets they sell to the customers. So instead I got the smallest crickets which my lizard won’t even eat. And their superworms as well as their horn worms are all dead and they refuse to exchange or refund the money. Worst place to go for anything. Management is a disrespectful, lazy sorry excuse for leadership in that store.

I really like this pet store. They have a large selection of pet supplies and food. Although acting as a separate entity, Banfield Pet Hospital is located inside the store. Soon, they will be filling the dog training position, while pet grooming is ongoing. I have taken one of my dogs to the Pet Hospital and purchase food at their store. PetSmart supports programs to provide pet food to families with economic issues. They also support making veterinary care available to families having trouble affording it. PetSmart also supports pet adoption programs, as well as having pets in their stores for adoption.

This store has the appropriate amount of staff. It was easy to find someone to help. I gave this location a 4/5 because they have their hours incorrectly listed on their listing. (However this may be updated soon as I informed their manager, and he said he’d deal with it as best he could). I showed up too early and had to wait a while because of this. Look at the photo from my review to see the correct hours from their window. The prices on cat food and litter are very competitive, and a much better deal than stores such as Safeway. Give their online ordering system a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Take my dogs here to get there nails done. Ask for a clip and grind, and the last 2 times they have not clipped. Only did the grind, yet charged me for both. We are not going to be paying for services not rendered any longer.

I would not have given them a single star if I had the opportunity just literally walked in the store and then was asked to leave because I didn't look like I was doing what I was supposed to do I walked back to go buy fish and get told to leave Petco you're my brand now I wouldn't recommend shopping at the store they are rude judgmental and overpriced

Don’t ever come to this location expecting any kind of knowledge/assistance. Was told on the phone (after 30+ minutes of trying to call) that they hadn’t been carrying my pet’s prescription food for 2 months, when I was there 2 weeks ago and bought two bags of said food. Wasted quite a bit of time and effort trying to shop here. Thank god for Laguna Vet Hospital!👎

When I called they said they close at 6pm and for a nail grind I should get there around 5pm. I got there at 5:15pm and they said they close at 5:30 and couldn’t do it because they have to clean the back. The girl was super rude. The nail grinding takes all of 5 minutes. You would think they could easily accommodate that. I would find somewhere else to go with friendlier more professional staff.

It's hard to be competitive nowadays with online stores and portals, specially if you are a brick and mortar business. Now having said that. I went to this place to buy a ribbon for my dog. There were only two ribbons to choose from and very pricey compared to an online business. (I won't give free publicity to this online place.) Well, you are probably asking yourselves why I didn't call before instead of just driving to that store ?? Well, I did call. This lady that answered the phone was useless, and it seemed that going to look for a ribbon around the store was going to be a brutal task. Two minutes into this conversation with this lady, I just decided to drive there instead of listening all these excuses this employee was making. That's just another perfect example of how they'll just hire anyone without customer service skills.

After today I doubt I'll be returning to petsmart. I don't feel it's right to force people to sign up & give a phone number to get a better price. I actually think it's a really fudged up business practice. People have become so complacent to marking, it is truly sad. I also felt that I was overcharged & they made excuses for the tag being $8 less than the item I purchased.It's time to boycott these corporate interests, please spend local..

They were not stocked enough to get everything we were looking for! Also, two employees stood in the middle of an aisle talking with a big cart also blockingThe aisle and we had to wait till they moved to pass through. I even tripped on a cord that wasnt picked up.The atmosphere was detached and unprofessional.

I went to go get a chameleon about a week ago. The manager at the time didn't even treat us like human beings, absolute disrespectful the whole time.. wouldn't sell my little guy to me... I had to wait until someone else was there. All after having my habitat set up for over a week....spending over a grand.. its been close to a month owning him and he's doing sooo much better than the condition I got him. Healthy and happy. Not only did it take a whole lot of research.. and money but he takes time and love. Every day I come home from work he does a little dance and wants to be held. They are definitely advance pets. Wouldn't recommend it if you don't have time on your hands and if you don't have a second person to help. As for the manager on site Jess. She could of handled the situation so much better than belittling a customer who not only dropped a grand in one visit. And proven they did research. The advice she gave us. Was completely wrong when we asked for a second opinion... the products she pointed out like the electronic mister.. broke within a few days.. she needs to learn better customer service and learn about the products being sold

+ Food: 0/10 - specialty cat or dog food limited to 2 brands, both expensive and hated by my pets. Try Purina brand health foods... Much cheaper, no need for a prescription, and just as good in the long run. Regular food is difficult to navigate since there are too many options of basically the same product. Try elsewhere online or at a grocery store, it's better in every way.+ Supplies: 0/10 - collars, litter boxes, and everything else is way too much. My cat loses his collar every other week, and 4 packs on Amazon cost what ONE will cost here. Don't even bother with litter supplies here.+ Staff: 0/10 - I'd have loved to order pet food through them, but that wasn't suggested by anyone we asked. I don't blame the workers, they appeared quite busy, but the management should be ashamed. Well run stores are run with respect for the customer, and usually that means a manager or opener is at the front to help. Nope.+ Design: 0/10 - it looks like a warehouse, but has boutique prices. I hope to never set foot in another one of these stores ever again.

Bad customer service. We kindly asked one of the employee for help with purchasing a fish but the girl was focusing on her project rather than helping us. Non of the employees were friendly and helpful at all. After purchasing a fish, unfortunately one of the fish died so I called back about the return policy. The guy that helped me over the phone kept cutting me off and would not let me finish and explain my situation. As I’m new to taking care of the fish, I wanted to ask him questions about what happened but he wanted to hang up to the phone quickly and finish the conversation so never went back to the store. Would not recommend if you want good customer service and need help finding things.

The pump i bought wouldn't ring up so they "made up" a price. It was used! They probably got a return from online and didn't even make sure it was their product. I way overpaid. I will never go back.

They are great people and always helpful. I needed to exchange a crate for a bigger size and unfortunately I lost the box to the old one but they still let me exchange it. I also had a guy stand with me for a few minutes to see if he could help me find a place that sold a specific shampoo they didn't have that I needed.

Petsmart has gone downhill. I miss staff like Christian and Rob who were so helpful and friendly. Inventory is terrible. Beta Fish in small bowl under lights! Simply inhumane and cruel!Long lines. No one comes out for curbside pick up which is understandable if there is not enough staff, but then don't offer it.My last order was not ready though an email saying it was ready. Employee was nice enough though. ,

They didn't have the variety of litter liners i was looking for but overall good experience. Their app is really nice, especially that you can have different pet profiles and play games to earn coupons. Like legit real coupons. Played the game for maybe 20-30 mins and got a 15% off one item 🙌

I have a Father & Daughter Golden Retrievers. Whenever I go into PetSmart I always go to the pet clinic and weight de-hounds. This store is well laid out. If they don't have what you are looking for, you don't really need it. The Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

All of the Bettas looked like they were dying or close to it. I told the girl up front and she shrugged her shoulders and said I know. The rest of the fish weren't great either. The tanks were covered with algae and filthy. Horrible.
