Hidden gem. Great selection at great prices. Friendly store clerks who walk around and are super friendly and helpful. Great human connection here! Very nice and caring and kind people who work here towards people and animals. Looking forward to trying their $8 self-service bath tub on the weekends for my dog Rosie.

This is a long review, but I’m hoping to spread some awareness. This store has low prices, and some of the staff are nice, but unfortunately they have low standards for animal care as well.Over the years, I’ve noticed that most of the animals they have are not for sale, which wouldn’t be a problem if they actually cared for them well. I’ve seen several reptiles in tiny enclosures, and they used to keep their rats in tiny box-type cages with bars on the front and solid sides which have now been replaced with one adequate cage and a few small ones. They don’t provide much enrichment, and are condescending when you give constructive criticism. They’re also denying these animals the possibility of finding a better home by keeping them all. They keep getting more and more rats and they still aren’t following basic care standards.In the photos I took you can see the rat cages that are far from what is necessary to keep rats happy and healthy. As someone who’s been keeping rats for years now, and is studying to be a vet tech and zoologist, these are really disappointing, and concerning setups for a place that’s supposed to assist people with animal care.The cages often have exposed wire floors, which is dangerous for their little feet, as well as very little when it comes to hides and places to sleep. (Plenty of cage furnishings are extra important in a public environment.)You can see that they have hairless rats in a setup with barely anything soft and warm for them, which would keep them way more comfortable. The large log hide in one of the cages is unsafe for rats and won’t kill them, but should still be removed. They also appear to be feeding them a mixture of mostly seeds and dried corn, which a bit of research would tell you isn’t enough to maintain their health.The rats don’t get time outside of their cages to run around since they’re in a store, or enough human interaction, which is a big part of keeping rats. Even if they’re being brought home by employees at night, they deserve better furnished cages to stay in with covered floors. It would be one thing if this was temporary, but almost all of these babies have “not for sale” written on their cages.I’m not trying to bash this store, if they had fixed the problem, or even started on the basics I wouldn’t be writing this right now. I think that this is just a major lack of research from reliable sources. If the were willing to let me, I would be more than happy to educate the employees on proper care and even donate some supplies to help fix things for these little ones. I like that they carry my dog's food. I have a picky Boxer. I stick to the brand I already know. However, when i have a question (i feel is simple) sometimes you get an employee that doesn't know left from right when it comes to the products they carry. I guess my question is, why do they carry them if they dont know anything about them?? Btw its really not a question more of a statement for you internet trolls LOL

Pretty cool place to go. It's huge and has a big selection of items to pick from. They have everything. Beds, toys, treats, food, training items... The list goes on and on. Don't ask about their spiders being for sale though... bit of a touchy subject...

The people on the sales floor were loudly complaining about your company. The cashier was incredibly rude, barking out orders to dump all items on the counter. Then refusing to touch my reusable bag when your other cashiers have never made it a big deal. Prices may be better on some items, but I still believe Customer Service is just as important.

They have decent prices and great sales. The animals that are in the store are ones that people surrendered to them because they were unwanted or they couldnt take of anymore. They dont sell them but are there for education purposes only so do not bash them for maybe having a small tank or if it seems like they arent being taken care of. It is the furthest feom the truth. I think they should have a donation set up for people to contribute to them getting larger tanks for the bigger fish and i know i sound like im giving a backhanded compliment but who else would foster so many reptiles and fish free of charge. They work with what they have and i think they are great. Say hi to Gracie the cat but also let her be. She is peacefully sleeping on the bags of catfood and isnt bothering anyone and she is adorable.

Do not carry high quality diets such as NutriSource or Nulo. Couldn’t locate 30 ft training leads and no one to ask. Only on type of dog crate available. Plastic style.Check out girl could bother to quit looking at her phone long enough to greet. not in the least bit friendly. No thank you or have a good day .I WILL NOT RETURN.

Went to pet clinic for my dog. Got there about .5 early. Waited a little while as expected. Vet was really kind and did her best for each pet. Full range of shots & nasal spray + stool exam was under $100 with online coupon. Excellent deal. Also all the shelves in the store were stocked today!

Awesome place to buy pet food and supplies for cats and dogs. The guy with colorful hair is great. But the care for their fish has taken a massive nosedive. They don't turn on the lights on their tanks anymore and my guess is because they're all filthy. Take a closer look and you'll know what I mean. It's really sad. This used to be our go-to place and now I feel like I'm buying fish from Walmart. And we all know the quality Walmart held themselves to when it came to fish. 😬

Prices are lower than most surrounding stores, and by far the largest selection of kibble for your dad or cats as well as small pet supplies. The staff are friendly.

We went to the store to gather the preferred food of our masters, Chili, Miso, and Gigi. The shelves were better stocked than the last time we were there, 3 weeks ago. The staff is always friendly. The prices are great. Proving that we had indeed purchased Tiki Cat we were allowed back into the house. Did I mention this already, they take credit cards now.

Years ago it was a nice place and animals have better care before. Yesterday I was there but pet rats were sad, also their bedding it was not in good conditions. And workers are not that kind anymore 😒 🙄So sad 😞 they don't have many things to shop. The place need attention on cleaning.
