The hot bar buffet is extraordinary. Pacific Market is the most sophisticated grocery store in Santa Rosa. Great hot bar buffet, sandwiches, in a clean, well lit community market.

I love my local market! The quality and selection are great and I love the hot food. But the best part is the staff, they are all so friendly and easy-going, and very helpful. I look forward to running in at the end of my day to see their smiling faces.

I got there so often, because I live close. Great store, but they are kinda expensive. Overall, they have a lot of things. The employees are very nice.

A great place to get a bite to eat and to pick up that one ingredient you forgot to get for your recipe.

I went in looking for something for breakfast. It was past 10 am and there was nothing left in the hot bar except dried old scrambled eggs. No other hot choice. No choice of any other hot food that I could see. I am used to shopping at Oliver's or Whole Foods, so in comparison, this market is just not as nice or welcoming. Could use some updating and better signage.

This Place ALWAYS takes longer than needed for the amount of people in there. I don't know how they train their employees now but when I worked there in the deli we had to bust tail to get orders out. we also didn't leave people on the phone waiting for 8 minutes. each employee was able to bust out 2 orders at the same time in a span of 8-10 minutes now it takes 15-20 for ONE order.

Compared as a local Whole Foods Market. Very good. Great sandwiches and salads. Fresh fruit and vegetables too. Very convenient. Excellent.

Great little neighborhood market, they have everything you could need. Prices maybe a little bit higher than some big chain stores, but nothing outrageous and you’re supporting local business owners. I always stop by when I’m in the area for a great sandwich or refreshment.

Two weeks ago I went into Pacific Market in the Town & Country location.I purchased hot food that was a serve yourself style. I added several items. I took it back to work and ate my lunch. A 1/2 an hour later I was in the ER because my throat was closing up and I couldn't breathe. I was there for 4 hrs. before I could be released. I have a very low tolerance to pesticides. With that being said why was this substance in my hot food? A day later I contacted the market and spoke to Joe via email.Joe did not sound like he was concerned and wanted me to come in and see him. When I did go to visit with him he was available and he was busy. I told him I would like to talk to him about this and would like him to take care of my emergency room Bill since it was because of their food. He has stopped all communications with me. There's a lot of people at my work that has had some food poisoning from Pacific Market in Town and country I would be very aware of what you purchased there. Also there's other markets around that you can go to without spending a lot of money to get sick. I'm still expecting a call from Joe or from the owner of Pacific Market in Town & country.

Pacific Market is just a few short blocks from where I live, but because it sits back off of Pacific Ave on Elizabeth, I didn't even know it was there for 2 years. One day, I decided to explore the little shopping center where PM is located. I went in, expecting a "convenience store." I couldn't have been more wrong. Here is a FULL grocery store. Their meats are EXCELLENT - you can find out where they come from. The butchers go out of their way to be helpful. Yes, SOME of their prices are a bit higher than , say Safeway. BUT, MANY products have prices lower than the chains. They often have "specials." The deli offers many choices and there is also sushi made daily. The staff are GREAT! And if you are a "Senior," shop on Tuesdays for an extra 10% off. I am SO GLAD I discovered pacific Market!

This is a true neighborhood market where they know the regulars. Best sushi in town, a great deli, good butcher with lots of sustainable choices. The service is always superb. Good selection of organic produce. Cheese counter has many local products, so does the dairy department. A real local store, a true gem.

Great local store with fantastic staff. Cozy and intimate though narrow aisles may make it feel claustrophobic. Deli and hot bar have delightful offerings throughout the day from breakfast options to hearty dinner choices. Try the jalapeno and cheese filled tater tots on the breakfast menu.

Excellent place- loved the vibe the moment I stepped in; clean, friendly staff, and a great selection of common and specialty food items. Bought some delicious chocolate cake here- it was amazing. Plus, they have a warm buffet with pay-by-the-pound items that look and smell scrumptious. Gets an A+ from me.

Good selection for a small, neighborhood shop. Overall, a lot of great things packed into a small space (great butcher, interesting local options, as close to a full grocery selection as you can get with the square footage). Tasty made in house meals. On the expensive side. Avocados are almost always over ripe. Seems to have an unprecedentedly low turnover for staff in a grocery store; I imagine that says something good about management and how this store is run.

I cannot believe how terrible the manager treated my 69-year-old mother. My mother, who's a regular customer (and probably one of the nicest people you would ever meet), got locked out of her car because something was wrong with her car's electrical system. She went into Pacific Market to borrow the phone because she couldn't get into her car to drive home and she had left her cellphone at home. My mother walked in, asked to borrow the phone. What does the manager do? He SLAMS DOWN A PHONE in front of her. She couldn't find a cab in the phone book, AAA insurance wouldn't respond, she couldn't remember her daughter (my) cellphone number. She was helpless. One of the store attendants started to help my mother because there weren't any customers in the store. Does the manager help or say thank you to his employee....? No- the manager tells the attendant to "GET BACK TO (HER) POST!" and FORCED MY MOTHER TO GET OUT OF THE STORE. A 69-year-old lady without proper walking shoes, no phone, knees that are receiving surgery soon, and $200 worth of groceries. MY 69-YEAR OLD MOTHER WAS FORCED TO WALK HOME. The manager left her, literally, with no other option. My mom's car is currently in their parking lot, she had to walk up the very hilly streets for about 1.5 miles to get home. Sun was down, she has no coat on, it's the 6th of December. This manager has no consideration what so ever for someone who tries to support smaller stores. And he has absolutely no respect for his employees, who try and be of assistance and provide customer service. We had just moved to the neighborhood and were talking about what a lovely shop Pacific market was and how handy it is to have it in the neighborhood and shop more locally. I will never go back to this market and you better know that we are going to let all our neighbors know.It may be a cute neighborhood market, but this manager (or owner) is so disrespectful to anyone who steps foot in his store. I wouldn't support this local business. To the lovely person who tried to help my mother, thank you so much and I'm so sorry you have to deal with this boss on a daily basis. To the manger, you truly are a heartless person.

This small but efficient store has great products, and in-house made food that is so good. This store is your local homieorganic place for the upper shelf things that are good for you, but bad for your wallet. Highly recommend

I am so grateful to have this well stocked and pleasantly staffed market near me - through all sorts of challenges. They are the kindest and most patient people, with fair prices and fresh delicious choices for such a small market. A treasure that makes "fresh market shopping" a great practice!

Better than Safeway, but by far a second tier grocery store. Nugget market would do well to buy this and come in and make it right. Olivers doesn't possess the skill or have the talent to see it through, so it would be up to a better outfit to come around and properly stock, set prices, and train the employees. I was here the other day and the person in the meat department was very busy trying to get a customer's number, so I was left waiting while he continued in his endeavors, all while ignoring the outside world (customers). The selection is very hit and miss, with bizarre prices, some drinks that should be in the reefer out getting warm. I'm not in the industry and strongly believe anyone with some energy could do this store better. It's not clean, not set up well to do volume, and doesn't have a professional staff. What more can I say. It's better than Safeway?

This store is an absolute joke. Yes, the food is decent, but once you find out the store has been infested with rats for years, not since the wildfires which an official statement can be quoted saying, you probably won’t want to eat here anymore. Not to mention also covered with mold and mildew. The cheekiest part about the whole thing was they never planned on actually taking care of the issue, instead they would just place rat traps at night and hoped for the best whilst hiding this to the best of their ability until they were caught by a health inspection and promptly closed. As a past employee I can also confirm the entirety of the staff is miserable and petty towards one another. The management is horrible, minus John. John is the only saving grace of this store and is genuinely a great person. Everyone else here is better off moving on and never working as a manager again.

Great neighborhood market with very friendly and helpful staff and a good selection at decent prices. Some of the best sushi in town, a knowledgeable butcher, deli, fresh produce, and everything else. Lots of local products and produce.

We're very lucky in Santa Rosa to have some great locally-based grocery stores and Pacific Market is one of them. I love the friendly, small atmosphere and great food items selection, especially their house-made ready-to-eat items.

This is a local secret! The daily prepared foods are exceptional. The sandwiches are mouthwatering, and the local and state wide beer selection will have beer geeks overwhelmed. Staff have always been friendly and helpful

Great place for high quality groceries. Sandwiches are amazing, and so is the hot food. Easy parking makes it a great place for a quick stop. Outdoor seating is moderate but much better than most.

This store has very rude employees and managers as well. They are not helpful and they certainly are not courteous to their customers. They imply that you are a bother to them. They are reluctant to help you even if you ask. They are far from friendly and very discourteous. This has been my experience on more than one occasion. I will never shop there again. And I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Did anyone read Maggie story? Not even an apology from the manager or the owner. I was going to stop by this store today , but I rather give my local business to someone else. What happened to her mother was a horrible experience. Take care of everyone regardless of wealth.
