Customer service is horrible, prices are way over the cost probably because they need to charge more because the customer base is so small. Was in there one time felt like I was being watched for some reason, sure I want to steal your light bulb. Just pulled up 5:30 the gate is open. I park my car as I'm getting out they lock the door in my face practically. Wow that is definitely not how you keep a customer coming back. Every time not just this time you have let me down. I will not be coming back again good luck Sonoma county.

I have been going to this hardware store for 20 years and have purchased everything from penny screws to decking and building supplies. They have garden equipment and a specialty shop on the upper level.I have also been treated with kind, honest, and prompt service. They are not going to have the inventory of a big box store, but this is an excellent neighborhood hardware store.

Got charged for a different planter than the one I wanted, asked for a refund but wasn't told until afterwards that it takes 2 business days to process. Holding a couple hundred dollars when I never left the store seems strange to me so I asked for a manager got a rude "they can't do anything". Considering the unprofessional staff and the weird refund policy I recommend going to another hardware store.

I absolutely love this store. All of the employees are so nice and helpful. Every time I go in there I ask for what I need and they walk me to each item and make expert recommendations. I’m so grateful for that. I visited on a Sunday morning and everyone was so cheery and they knew each other’s names. It’s just a sweet spot for home maintenance needs. I have never not been able to find what I’m looking for. They have earned my business and I will continue to shop here as long as I live in the neighborhood.

Went in today to buy a part for my sink. The young lady behind the register greets me so I walk over, show her the part that needs to be replaced and she says aisle 9....there is another young lady and 2 young men behind the counter also. Every other Ace I have been in the employee helps me find what I need...not here. I walk to aisle 9 and I can't see the part I need. Meanwhile I hear a woman asking for help to carry something, the group of 4 say something and the woman replies "fine I'll just get it". I decide to leave since no help is being offered. I drive home and decide to stop at Hardesters in Middletown that has an Ace inside. I walk in show the part to the VERY helpful employee and get the part and on my way in 5 minutes. All Ace stores ARE NOT the same and I won't bother ever stopping at this one since they don't employ staff that helps....that's Aces draw...having employees that are customer oriented and know the products they carry.

My favorite "local" midsized hardware store. The guys are very knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects and know where everything is because they've been there for *years*. Way more helpful than the big box stores. There's lumber in the back outside, but there's also a good selection of plywood and finishing type boards inside in the back. There's a decent paint selection in front behind and above the counter (up a few stairs to a mid level). They carry Krylon which is my very favorite rattle can. Upstairs for patio I believe. Highly recommended. Oh! Now that OSH is out of business they also probably have the best screw and nut selection in the area, especially if you are looking for metric.

With 15 mins until closing, my husband and I were in a hurry to buy bolts for our broke down car (live 2 hours away). We walked in and an associate, pointed and walked us to the correct isle. Helped us find the right sizes and even filled out the price bag. Thank you sir Ray for your kindness.

Very good. Employees very nice also. Been going their for a long time. There like friends. If you can not find what you want. They will show you what alley and the item. If I need something right away it is close to my home. Anyway go see and shop around. 😀

I went to the paint section with my color selected and hopes high that an expert would be on hand to advise me. I was sold primer for a paint that already had primer in it. My painter tells me the primer should have been tinted to cover the existing color better. The paint expert was aware of the darker under color, that's why I was sold the primer to begin with.I had to return for a second gallon of paint. That's two gallons of paint and one gallon of primer for a moderately sized bedroom with a wall of windows.

I love this hardware store. They have an amazing variety of items including lumber, plumbing and garden supplies. Their prices are compeitive and their store is very organized which means I don't waste my time looking for things. It's my go-to hardware store.

I live in a mobile home and am a woman, I have always been treated with respect and been given very good advice and service. I do not have to hunt for help it is always there unlike the other stores like Lowes or Home depot.

There are always helpful guys at the front door to show you where things are and tell you which product works best. The owner Mike is often there and is very knowledgeable. A world of difference between Ace and Home Depot.

Large store with good variety. Wish the customer service was on par with Bennett Valley Ace Hardware. I get the feeling that the personel would rather have a job somewhere else. I go here only if I need to.

We went all the way out to Mission Hardware from Rohnert Park in order to support smaller businesses. We were surprised to find the most unfriendly people working there.
