Turntable wizard Jason P set me up with a dedicated mono cartridge for my mono setup. Everything dialed in and ready. Neatened up some sloppy wiring on another turntable I had. Checked out a hum on a preamp. Jason is a really chill and friendly person who is excellent at what he does. Also helped out an acquaintance of mine in selecting a cartridge and dialing in his deck as well. Certainly above and beyond. Steven is very welcoming and spun some of my records on a super high end system in the back.Big or small, they take care of you. Support local business.

I bought my system here a few years ago and while it's just fine, my comment is about the extraordinary service I received recently from Steven Hester in the showroom. I had a problem which ran along a bit due to my extraordinary digital ignorance. Steven stayed with me through a number of challenges and now my KEF speakers sing. The service and even probably more important, the knowledge at Lavish is superb.

At the beginning of August I asked Steven to do a surround sound audio installation. He said he would send his associate to my house to assess my needs. Several weeks went by with no communication from Steven. I sent an email and he replied, saying he had been very busy. Finally, about a month after my initial contact with Steven, his associate scheduled a time to come to my home. He was very cordial, took lots of measurements and photos, spending more than an hour. He said that Steven would be in touch with a proposal.After several more weeks passed I emailed Steven. In his reply he implied that I had not communicated what I wanted. In my response I repeated what I wanted from him and reminded him of his colleague’s visit and the extensive notes he had taken. At the end of September he replied that he’d forgotten, but that now he understood and would be getting back to me. That was the last I’ve heard from him.I can only conclude that he is not interested in doing my job, but I must also infer that he is not very reliable, certainly not very respectful of other people’s time. I would have understood if he just said that he wasn’t interested in my business. But to pretend otherwise is just disrespectful and frankly, kind of weird.

If you like personalized service this is your place. Tony at Lavish took a couple hours showing me all of the gear I wanted to listen to and never made me feel rushed. Steven also gave me some great insight into the speakers I liked the most. In the end I got exactly what I wanted. Great place and great people working there. Highly recommended!

Would recommend against using them for home networking. I bought a house where Lavish had done the original installation 3 years earlier I just needed the password changed but after several hours and $1000 things were barely usable. I ended up replacing everything myself and am much happier with the performance.

So full disclosure. I went here thinking most things wouldn't be in my price range, but I did want to check out some of the higher end audio equipment and see if they had any sales. Maybe I would find one component that I would splurge on. At first, Tony helped me find a great pair of speakers at a price that was extremely reasonable. He recommended a solid receiver that would cover all the things I needed and they had some really cool turn tables, but I wasn't sure what I wanted. So I went with the speakers. I asked about some speaker stands and since it was Black Friday, they were having a sale and Tony was able to hook me up with a deal on stands with speaker cable thrown in. I was gonna leave it at that and keep looking for the other pieces, but since they were so helpful and I knew that I would be getting hi quality components, I went ahead and bought the receiver and turn table there as well. I put it all together at home and I am extremely happy with what I got. I am so glad that I stopped here. Highly Recommend

I needed some higher quality headphones than what they have at Best Buy and the younger tattooed man that helped me was charming and well informed. He also hooked it up when he set up some music to listen to while they were looking for something for me. I got my headphones and also got some love from the shop dog, Charlie. Great place to go for any audiophilic needs ♥️

Lavish was an amazing experience. I was a bit intimidated by all the classy high dollar stereo equipment at first as I’m a newbie, but Tony could not have made me feel more welcome. He helped me understand what I needed and also gave me heaps of his knowledge, help, and time. Killer dude! He blew my ears and mind in the best of ways! Thanks dude!! Highly Recommend! 🌈

Earlier this week, I called from the East Coast with a few questions that I could not get answered elsewhere.. Steven answered the phone and was an absolute delight. He was very accommodating, knowledgeable, passionate and helpful in not only answering my questions, but also offering meaningful food for thought.As a KEF / Linn dealer and old Thiel lover, which I did not know prior to the call, we immediately connected. What an enjoyable experience!I highly recommend Steven and Lavish Hi Fi if you have a hankering for new high end audio gear or are interested in jumping into this life enhancement hobby. Ignore the three or four one-star reviews you see here. The fact that, otherwise, every review is a five-star review, tells you much more about the people who wrote those bad reviews than the people at Lavish, which, in my experience have been extremely patient, helpful, and flexible. If you're looking for a new audio system or upgrading an existing system, talk to Steven.

Ugh, I wanted this relationship to work out well. I hired them for what they told me was their "sweet spot". Reconnecting my TV remotes and getting the displays on my two new TVs connected to the Cable. They spent all day at my house, inventoried my entire system and then charged me for this effort. When they left only one of the two TVs was working, they clipped a wire to my WAP which took a network expert hours and a fortune to figure out, and they disconnected wiring that ran my wifi which I also had to have repaired. I hired another expert who hooked up the other TV in one hour. Very nice people, but they unfortunately were incapable of even simple tasks in their "sweet spot"
