From annual exams to anything unexpected, the staff is always friendly and willing to help.It sounds over the top, but we're incredibly grateful for Dr. Lankes and Dr. Fisher being a part of our furry loved ones lives.

There is very little that can make the loss of a pet easier, especially in an emergency situation and you have an “exotic” pet. I must have contacted 30+ vets/programs in the Sonoma County area and after 3 days of watching my 2.5 yr old heart rat, Blue, struggle for every breath she took, I finally found Heritage Vet Hospital. Not only did they not over charge me but Dr. Lynne Lankes stayed late so we could get to the office so my poor girl didn’t have suffer another night while I had to watch.Dr. Lynne was very caring, kind, straightforward and patient with me, my daughter, and Blue. She presented me with every possible option to help my girl but we both knew it was time to say one last goodnight to her. She made sure Blue was comfortable and that I had time to say my goodnights. She also made sure to offer me keepsakes I wasn’t thinking about at that moment like ink prints of her paws for a tattoo, and a soft foam print of her feet and tail.There is no way to ease this pain but I am very grateful for Dr. Lankes doing her absolute best to take care of all of us.

These guys are great. Sadly I had to put down my two girls 6 months apart last year. The first was my first experience with Heritage Veterinary Hospital. They never rushed me. In fact, Shealynn was absolutely amazing. I was there for 2 1/2 hours and she continually assured me that nobody was in a hurry. Everybody’s compassion was and is truly sincere and heartwarming.Dr Lankes DVM took her time with me at every appointment. She helped formulate a care plan for my kids. Unfortunately, my remaining girls’ body was already majorly compromised from Cushings disease and Valley Fever. So after months of trying to get my baby’s pain and everything else in check we hit a wall. Doc helped me work through the pros and cons of continuing this path or letting her rest. I chose the latter and was a blubbering fool. Everyone at Heritage was so gentle, understanding and accommodating. It’s always about the animals until something like this happens. Then they focus on you and how they can help you through the process and ease your pain.They are a little more pricey than others but they are worth it!

I have an 11 year old Westie that has been going to Heritage Veterinary for years now. He’s a bit high maintenance so Dr. Lankes and Dr. Fisher know him well and they’re always so good with him and so are the Technicians and all the girls at the front desk are wonderful. I appreciate how kind they are with Bentley. It’s not his favorite place to be but they make him as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend!!

This was my first visit with my new puppy and I had a wonderful experience. I’ve had two other Vets over the years and felt they were more in to up- selling than doing what was best for me and my pet. Office is clean, staff is friendly, yet professional and prices are within normal range.

I have been taking my cat to this hospital for over 3 years or so. My cat is a very feisty cat and has to take medication so they can give her vaccinations. I had a lot of veterinarians complain or don't even want to deal with my cat. However, I tried Heritage, and they were very professional. It was nice to know that they dealt with a lot of feisty cats. The environment is positive and friendly. That's why I keep going to them.

We love our Veterinarian, Dr. Fisher is very kind and helpful, she was our late Chiweenie "Taco's" doctor first, and she found that Taco had diabetes. A while after a year of insulin and therapies we found that it wasn't working, so we stopped all of her pain. Dr. Fisher was very helpful. A while after we decided to adopt our Sophie who is a Chihuahua/Greyhound mix. We are getting the same great care of Sophie as she did Taco. The staff are very friendly and helpful also.

Everyone is so nice and helpful there. I can be kind of a handful especially when my babies are in distress and they talk me down and give me the right advice and treat the babies as individuals because they have individual needs. No two kitties are alike!

I was very impressed with this veterinary practice. Nice clean facility, very friendly and efficient front office. The Dr took plenty of time explaining everything to me and my dog Danny seemed to be quite comfortable with everyone. I plan on using this office as Danny’s vet for all future services.

I just brought my cat to Dr. Larkin for the first time and she was wonderful. My cat is a very nervous guy so I wasn’t sure how taking him to a new vet would be, but she was so good with him and made him as comfortable as he could be at the vet. She is very friendly as well as knowledgeable and explained everything very well and I felt comfortable with her. All of the staff was also really friendly and I’m so glad I’m now established with a vet here that I like and trust.

The people there are great, the bad thing is that they can not see you when your pet has an issue. Both my dogs have had 2 separate issues and they were not able to see them both times in a reasonable time.. it was like over 2 weeks for an exam and they referred me to an emergency vet. One was for an ear infection and the other was for a hurt leg... 2 week appointment would be too long for both. It is really to bad, they seem like a great vet place but no time to see your animal. They say it's because they are taking new patients... my response was... "maybe you should take care of your current ones"! Hopefully they hire another vet or fix thier scheduling.

As a retired Veterinary Professional, I am ridiculously picky about where my pets are treated. The staff at Heritage Veterinary Hospital are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and I know my pets are getting the absolute best care they deserve. Dr. Tonia Fisher is one of the most talented Veterinarians I have ever had the privilege to meet - she is a brilliant doctor who constantly pushes herself to learn more and improve her already stellar skills. 10/10 would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a hospital they can trust to care for their animals as if they were their own.

Dr Fisher and staff are outstanding! We've had a string of unfortunate events with our cats and they have been incredibly kind and accommodating. The communication is great. Our cats are very well cared for there. One had oral surgery and the other serious bowel problems and Dr. Fisher fixed it all. They work very hard and lead with love, warmth, and kindness. If you're looking for a new vet, this is your place!

As the mother to my precious feline fur kid, Daisy and several other cats, I am beyond grateful for the excellent care given to Daisy. I also appreciate the excellent treatment given to me as their rather nervous mommy.I was given a dire diagnosis from a well meaning but misguided vet at a DIFFERENT vet hospital after months of testing and treatments. The said vet then referred me to a specialist. I called Dr. Fisher to get a second opinion & to reestablish care for all my pets. Dr. Fisher agreed to look at the previous testing and took the time to call me as she knew I was distraught at that point. She is so very busy, but found it in her heart to call me and give me hope that all was lost and that there were other issues that Daisy could possibly have. Dr. Fisher is highly skilled and has many, many years of experience. See her bio. Impressive! She is a genuinely kind hearted human being who is dedicated to the well-being of her patients and their loved ones. After Dr. Fisher examined Daisy and ordered testing, she was able to confirm that the previous diagnosis by the other clinic was incorrect. She came up with a treatment plan and I have hope again and Daisy is doing better.It is also important to note that Daisy has had numerous exams at the other clinic and at neither appt did they note a very apparent Abscess in Daisy's mouth. Dr. Fisher spotted it right away and will be doing the surgery.I highly recommend Heritage Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Fisher. I would like to also thank the excellent staff, each and every one of them are so very kind, patient and hard working. I wish I knew all their names, but I would like to thank them all. I would also like to thank Jessica and Maisie at the front desk. They have been so very helpful. You just can't go wrong entrusting you're loved ones to Heritage a veterinary Hospital!Many thanks to Maisie, Amanda, Fallon, & Rebecca. for all they have done to make this recent experience with Sebastian less stressful. Paul and Emma, the Vet Techs were also amazing. I wish I could name them all. They are such kind, and loving animal lovers & human beings. Who have taken the time to help me help my fury little guy get better. Logan and Christina at the front desk who greet everyone with such care. They are greatly appreciated as is Dr. Fisher who has gone out of her way to give her to help Sebastian feel better. Solid local Vet with a very good staff. I have been a few times with friends, but each time the staff were professional and full of empathy. The "vibe" is very nice, calm and comfortable for folks as well as fur babies. My most recent trip a couple of months ago was to put a dear friends dog down. Poe was her mother's who had passed about a year before so this was a rough one and these folks did great. I have experienced such events too many times, but that makes me a good patient and comforter. I would recommend them to anyone.

I LOVE Heritage! I have been taking my cat here for about 3 years, and Dr. Fisher and all of the wonderful ladies are the best! They take amazing care of Jack, and are the nicest people ever. Dr. Fisher really listens to my concerns and does honest work and treats Jack like he was her own. They always do a special order for Jack's food, and always ask how he's doing when I go to pick it up. I never feel rushed there, and it's really easy to get an appointment. When Jack gets tests done, they always call the next day with the results, so you're not left hanging, and they explain everything in great detail. I highly recommend this place, they care about all animals! And you'll be greeted by the funniest cat, Dudley, who will eat anthing in sight.

We brought our 12yr old kitty in to see Dr Fisher for an ongoing health concern and also interested in cutting ties with the “Big Box” vet clinics.We showed up an hour late due to me not paying attention to appointment time (how embarrassing) and greeted at car by VERY sweet vet tech. She politely explained that it may take a bit longer as the doctor needed to see another scheduled patient first. Didn’t try to shame me at all!We received a call from Dr Fisher after she examined my kitty and a follow up treatment plan to hopefully bring more relief to her. Dr Fisher was clear and thoughtful and listened to all our concerns all while educating us on alternate approaches for treatment.So important to find a veterinarian that you can trust and finally feel we are on the right path with Heritage Vet!

This was my first visit to this office: I had a bird that couldn't stand up! I had called around to several veterinary offices and they either did not treat birds or they could not see him for DAYS. Even though their calendar was full for the day, Heritage made the effort to see my pet right away. I felt that the vet was very thorough, compassionate, and explained what was going on with my pet very well. I would definitely use them again should the need arise!

The team at Heritage Veterinary Hospital is just wonderful. My dog Bella actually is excited to get there because she gets so much love from the staff. I recommend the services highly as well. Two years ago was my first visit & it was the most traumatic.My dog Elvis & I had a great 15 years together. We were fairly new to the area & had not yet established a regular vet. By recommendation from a friend I took him here to bid farewell. The care & compassion from the staff was like they'd known us his entire life. A year ago I rescued a starving poodle puppy from a terrible circumstance. I took her to Heritage immediately & her recovery began. The love, outstanding care & compassion continues for her & for many years to come. I highly recommend Heritage Veterinary Hospital!
