Rodney, Teresa, and the whole team at GreenRun have been phenomenal to work with. We spent a _long_ time looking for a contractor we can trust (and have worked with some bad ones in the past). It’s been such a relief to have the working relationship with GreenRun that we’ve had for the past few years. We’ve worked with GreenRun on a handful of projects now, ranging from door replacements to a deep remodel that involved fixing 10-20 years of issues house flipper prior owners had caused that included carpentry and finishing, electrical, project management, and everything in between.Their attention to detail and collective knowledge of how to approach various construction challenges has been pretty incredible - from navigating the city permitting process, to anticipating concerns from inspectors and trying to do the right thing, through to following up weeks after the project completed to make sure we’re happy with the result.And - notably - the quality of craftspeople they work with has been top-notch. They’ve surrounded themselves with a roster of knowledgeable experts (and nice people, to boot).All told - we just feel fortunate to have found GreenRun. One of the biggest stressors about owning a home with some years on it was not having a GC we could trust. It’s such a weight off to know the folks at GreenRun are right there next time we need help.

Rodney and his team were fantastic to work with. I contracted with him to build a small office to give me a place to work outside of my BR. We had a number of challenges with the physical space and requirements from the city with setbacks, etc... Throughout the entire process Rodney was fantastic to partner with. Great communicator and always kept me in the loop on what was going on and how everything was progressing. He was able to handle everything and the quality of his carpenters was also very high. Rodney and his team are fantastic. I reached out to them on a siding repair project which I thought may require replacing two full sides of my house with new fiberboard. In consulting with Rodney we determined the needed repairs were much more minimal and that I could handle them myself. Rodney still took additional time on the phone and via email with me to walk through all of the details of the siding and the recommended approach. It was extremely refreshing (and rare) to consult with someone who wasn't trying to upsell or oversell their services, but was honest, knowledgeable, and simply focused on determining the best solution for the customer. Rodney and Teresa Jansen, owners of theGreenRun Construction, just completed a renovation of our master bath. They were very responsive to all our questions and were always polite and pleasant to deal with. Our project included a complete gut of the former bathroom with removal of a shower, bathtub, floors and all fixtures. I recently bought a 1970s mobile home that needs upgrading. After searching the web for a locally-owned contracting business, I found Green Run Construction, and made an appointment with Rodney for an estimate. He and Theresa came over to assess the project, and gave me some valuable suggestions about my home.In the end, they both determined that I would be better suited using a contractor who specializes in mobile home remodeling, and gave me a few resources to look into.Although I'm disappointed that I won't be working with them, I will recommend them to any of my friends who have a standard home, who need a contractor. My interaction with them was all positive, starting with Rodney calling my cell only 8 minutes after I'd emailed them online, and continued through two reschedules (my request). He was prompt, informative, professional and courteous throughout, and also being that they have a family operation, I'm happy to refer them to others!

We had a significant amount of dry rot in our home's siding. Whereas most contractors said we could save money and patch only the parts that were rotted, we had a feeling that with such a significant amount to patch, that it was more prudent to reside the entire house. Rodney was up front, realistic, and honest that he may cost more than the other people we called for quotes. On top of that, Rodney came out not once, but twice, before we hired them to thoroughly look at the condition of our home and before taking time to prepare a thorough bid. No other contractor even bothered to measure our home in order to estimate material costs (which the pandemic has made particularly challenging for everyone) and most spent 30 minutes at best to look around before offering a bid on the spot.We were expecting to find spots of rot in the underlying structure, which reasonably no contractor can estimate without peeling away layers of a house. So we were prepared for overages -- ones we understood and accepted as necessary to repair structural damage, which included a near-rebuild of our entire chimney.Rodney's team was on top of it -- they are excellent, thorough, and professional. They do things by the book, coordinate the proper permitting and referring to other reputable contractors outside the GreenRun's scope of expertise. His guys alerted us to issues with water lines, old window flashing and other shoddy repairs they uncovered. Rodney took the time to educate us on what best practices should look like or questions to think about as we were selecting other contractors for painting, electrical, and decking and even guiding us to pulling permits on our own -- his solid advice steered us right every time! He and his crew were patient with all our questions to help us understand what was being done. Now our home is solid, giving us peace of mind that the workmanship and materials will last us in the decades to come. GreenRun was the right choice to invest in to fortify our home.Many thanks Rodney! We've already given a couple word-of-mouth referrals. Rodney left a voicemail stating this company does not perform estimates as there have been people who have received estimates from them and then cash the check and build a cheaper tuff shed. My situation is totally different than that but that did not matter to this company. It's the highest rating I can offer for this cynical response to an honest request. He also mentioned they would be happy to perform a repair once the insurance check is distributed. I'm not sure how I can get a check from the insurance company until I have gotten an estimate as to how much work needs to be performed. By the way I've gotten several estimates from other companies. Caveat emptor

I used GreenRun to replace my old 1934-era windows with new construction windows and am very happy with their work. I chose them over 3 competitive bids because of their attention to detail. GreenRun arrived exactly on time for every meeting we had, provided very clear information on the process for creating a bid, and did exemplary work when they were here. They were great at building and establishing trust and really went above and beyond to be sure the end product met our high expectations.Detail oriented, thoughtful, responsive and professional. We hired GreenRun Construction to remodel both of the bathrooms in our condominium. Right from the beginning we knew we had hired the right people. Rodney and Teresa were just great. They laid out a plan for the project, went over everything with us and then followed through with the project. Rodney was great with all communications never leaving us wondering what was happening. All of the workers they used were great also. Every one of them did high quality work and paid great attention to the little details. They even managed to remodel our full bath upstairs while we were on a 2 week vacation so we didn't suffer with no shower. We highly recommend Rodney and Teresa for all your home remodeling.

Rodney and his team did an awesome job with our shower replacement, and made things really easy for us. We were having trouble taking our dog to work every day of the project, so he invited her to stay home with them while they worked! Not having to find dog care throughout the project was an enormous help. And the new shower is pretty great too :)

My husband and I were looking for a construction company to help us with our guess bathroom remodel and we happily chose Greenrun. Greenrun had helpful staff members with fantastic communication throughout the entire process. Our final price was nearly identical to the original quote (actually a little less), which was such a relief after reading about other companies increasing prices drastically. My husband and I both work during the day and we felt more than comfortable having Greenrun at our home to work when we were not home. They were always respectful, clean, and they were great with our 2 large dogs that stayed home during the day. We are more than happy with our bathroom. It is exactly how I envisioned it!
