I took three of my dogs here years ago, and it was highly unpleasant. First they don't let any female or male dogs who aren't altered play with groups. Males, I understand, but my 1 year old female who was not close to her heat?They left my dogs unattended and when I went to pick them up my oldest female had open scratches and scuffs on her muzzle, face and legs from trying to escape the enclosure; mind you i had to find that out after pick up. They did not call or reach out about her mood and did not try to admister any calming medication like melatonin. Would not recommend again.

This is where I got my PJ from. When I met him, he was totally wild . He would not let you approach him or pet him. He would not go anywhere on a leash. Amanda, who worked there at the time was very helpful in making the transition. He is now the cutest, sweetest most wonderful little dog I’ve ever had.

I took my cat, Trout, here. They made it as pleasant as such an experience can be. I expected Trout to be traumatized, but when I let her out in the car - aside from loving on me for the first five minutes and then going back into her travel bag and growling at me for leaving her for a hot second - she was all cuddles immediately after. She made friends with the staff, they are all excited to see her come back. The hardest part was signing the standard release form. But it worked for boarding in a pinch. Trout wasn't traumatized at all. <3 Bring your paperwork!

We're just getting started at Four Paws, but so far, so good! We are about an hour away but the drive is worth it for several reasons:Our pup is under the care of a seemingly wonderful staff of true animal lovers;They temperament test each dog in a free 2+hour consultation where they give them plenty of time to acclimate, meet other dogs in controlled ways, go into and out of spaces, and be handled by one of the staff members. Then they place them accordingly! As they put it, "look, not every dog is going to be happy to be here, but when they're here, we want to make sure they're happy."She is also being played with (humans and other dogs);The price is RIGHT, aka not Bay Area prices - I'm looking at you Every Dog. 4Paws offers a variety of choices to fit your pet's needs - tuck in service, special treats or food, medication if needed, an extra cuddle, walk, or play session, and more!It's not just dogs! In our first consult, I saw a bird in a bird backpack, which i didn't know was even a thing, a cat, a bunny, and a hamster, all being picked up by their owners. They have play space for cats, too, it looked like - couches and blankets and things for climbing and scratching. It was messy but looked well-loved.Anyway, we're excited to see what future boarding trips bring. Our young dog did come home after her consult with a small cut under her eye and that was a little pause for me, but these things happen, she plays hard, and she seemed fine, so we rolled with it. Looking forward to getting to know the Four Paws folks more!

Outstanding service - above and beyond! Our poor kitties survived the inferno of #tubbsfire that took out most of our neighborhood, and we needed to board them for a couple of days, and the animal lovers at Four Paws Pet Ranch made room for our 3 cats and took good care of them while we were displaced! This place is amazing. They truly care about your animals and the staff is outstanding. We are thankful for the dog trainers (Kaitlyn) and everyone who has helped our pup out (Odin) who is in the process of becoming a "gentleman with manners" and his owners are learning how to improve their dog IQ. We have so many great things to say about 4 Paws. The staff is friendly, kind and always so helpful. Recently, while our dog was boarded there, he needed emergency care because he wasn't feeling well. Cori contacted me, and didn't hesitate to personally take our dog to receive the emergency care he needed (on a Friday night), and continuously communicated with me. She went above and beyond to ensure our dog was cared for. It was such a relief to know that while our dog wasn't with us, he was truly being looked after, by people who care.

I took 2 cats here for 10 nights who had never been boarded before, and had never been kept in cages. I toured the grounds beforehand and found the kennel suitably sized, and the staff were nice. When I got them back they were only mildly traumatized, and totally reacclimated to home within a few hours. They must have been well taken care of. They didn't eat as much as I anticipated they would, but that's understandable. My only gripe is their soft cat carriers came back completely saturated and stinky and they'll have to be trashed and replaced. I think they left them in the kennel.

They had a mobile unit on the weekend of the evacuation of the fires. (Oct 26-27) out on Lucchesi Park shelter and I approached them with dog in hand and a lady working there rudely waved me off saying she couldn't help me with out hearing me out. It's upsetting that I recieved such treatment, I had just lost my home do to the fires. I'm not looking for pity, just for people to change their behavior thourds each other.

We used Alexis for dog grooming here and she not only did a great job with our dog, she also caught that Daisy had an ear infection. Took her to the vet the next day and she was right! I’m so appreciative that we took her to 4 Paws that day- that’s what I call excellent service! Thank you Alexis! 💖

My wife used to work for this dump. I can honestly say that the woman that runs the place is a full-on sociopath. She's been seen dragging the dogs around by their necks on the concrete to get them to their cages. And then she would tell the employees not to do that in front of the customers. Of course they wouldn't drag somebody's dog around on the concrete right? Wrong. Employees have definitely been seen using the manager's tactics. Such as walking up and down the rows of cages with a Stick whacking the cages provoking the animals and laughing about it. If the owners actually saw how their animals were being treated at this place they'd be out of business in no time! Do not take your dogs to this establishment If you love them.

So it's 70$ for a non spayed overnightMy pomeranian came home with a horrible cough and with diarrhea all over her rear. 😑 The front desk when I picked her up was a older lady that seemed pretty out of it and I hadn't paid yet and it was our first visit so we were supposed to get a night free so I told her and she said 'well I already added it up, you can get it next time'.. The groomer is independent so you have to contact a whole other office.I dunno. I'm pretty bummed.I found a nicer place that 30$ cheaper a night and way better vibes.

I cannot give enough praise and recommendation to Cory and her team at Four Paws Pet Ranch. I brought my new puppy (6 months at the time) in and she got a free day of daycare and getting to explore the site. The site is beautiful - a great place for any dog to want to play at. After the trial day - my pup now goes once a week and spends the entire day there while I get to play catch up at home and work. The most impressive part is that they are able to pick up my pup in the morning from my home and she spends the day there. They offer a drop off but I like to leave her there a little longer and I pick her up myself. Its always so fun to see her in such a great mood when I pick her up. The staff there is super kind and Cory is amazing my pup. They also offer boarding and salon services - I have yet to utilize the boarding but my pup will be getting a grooming there shortly and I'll include some photos in my review at that time so the world can see why my dog is the cutest (she really is). I highly recommend to all looking to try them out. You will not be disappointed!

We went to this place on a referral from a friend. We drove an hour outside of Duncan's Mills to get there. We booked a month out.It was the worst nearly hundred dollar grooming for our 21 lb Miniature Schnauzer.I'm guessing that since we're out of towners and not regular customers, we didn't get the best groomer available.Our dogs coat had a choppy cut to it. The cut on his legs looked crazy too. His tail was not cut as we requested. This cut appeared to be the mark of someone who is not experienced at all.It's just hair or furr and it will grow back. But bless their hearts, we can't back to this shop. Price and quality just doesn't line up for us.

I left my pet bird here and overall was very happy. They have a special "exotic animal " room that is near the main office desk. Lots of nice staff and they are open extended hours. This place does seem very busy during the week with dog grooming. Cage was a little messy but overall I'm happy.

I need to rave about Alexis. She just groomed my senior dog who is going deaf and blind. For some reason I couldn't find a groomer and the one I was going to took 4 hours to groom him. Alexis not only groomed him with no issues, she did it in a hour and it was 10$ cheaper. I swear she some kind of a grooming whisperer. Thank you Alexis, see you soon!!

I don’t normally leave any reviews. But I’m going to leave a review for this place in hopes that it will help you make a good decision for your fur babies. I have two Pomeranians and decided to try this place to see how they’ll do. When I first arrive that morning, I wasn’t greeting by what looked like to be the manager. She seemed very straight forward and I wouldn’t have mind it if she would’ve been a little more nicer. To the lady in front office, she was really nice she told me if she could feed my dogs around 2:30 and I thought that was perfect since they already had breakfast at home. They had me fill out paperwork and that was it. Once I came back to pick them up. There was another lady who told me from across the parking lot that they just feed my dogs. This was at 4:30pm. I was so upset that they didn’t eat for almost 10hrs. Once we got home, my puppies ran to their water bowls and drink so much water. I’ve never seen them so this, I was so mad to the thought that they probably didn’t have water in those cages. I’m so glad it was a free first day trial. I will definitely NOT be taking my puppies to that place. It felt like a business -which it is but no one seemed to really like what they do. My pups get better treatment at the vet. Another side note- they had younger two puppies in one of the cages. One of them had diarrhea that looked like water coming out rather than solid poop. Then the other puppy came over to him and started eating it! I still have that image in my head. It’s was awful! I would think they are being checked on all the time especially since they looked to be much younger puppies. Never again.

Four Paws was one of the very best day care/boarding facilities I have ever needed to leave my Frenchie with. Their staff is very friendly. My pet has some specific needs, and they had no problems accommodating my fur baby. If you're ever in the Bay Area, I'd definitely recommend using Four Paws Pet Ranch. Lastly, the facility is very clean and it's climate controlled.

Awesome place. I take my dog here 3-4 times a week and he loves it. Good location, nice play yards, affordable, and you don't need to make a reservation every time you want to take your furry friend to daycare. Staff is great, and the facilities are pretty clean. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a friendly, affordable, and safe daycare spot for their dog.

Sad story, excellent review. We just came back from holiday Thurs. night & were to pick up our dogs in the morning. One of the employees, Bianca, noticed something off with our mastiff, Cerbeau. Cory called, my husband came, & when he collapsed by the truck, Cory rode with him to the ER Vet. She waited with us for a while, gave me her cell for updates, & when the Vet called to say he wasn't doing well, Cory asked if she & Bianca could meet us there to see him. Unfortunately, Cerbeau seemed to have some type of abnormality of the lungs & heart. We had no idea. The love & attention given to our dogs, & to us, can not be emphasized enough. We lost Cerbeau last Friday, he was 2yrs, 5mos. We thank everyone at Four Paws for caring so much.

My dog has been going to Four Paws for almost 6 years. She loves it there and better than that - they love her! All of the workers are hyper-aware of all of the dogs' needs. Their biggest concern is the safety and well-being of each animal. It is refreshing to see a business run by such caring individuals. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Four Paws Pet Ranch is run by some wonderful folks and our dog is always happy to be left here to play with them and the other dogs. The staff will do a full review of social behaviour of new dogs to ensure they'll be comfortable through their stay and with the other dogs if they are kept in a social environment. They also have a full range of services - Day Care, Boarding, Training, Grooming.

Our puppy loves going to 4paws to play. They helped us with her fear of other dogs very carefully. Everyone is so friendly and helpful even when I simply drive there without an appointment in an emergency dog care moment. They have grooming services, training and lots of fresh air exercise. I highly recommended this wonderful place.
