In my opinion the advertised reviews on the website are staged !It's so funny all these reviews are exactly the problems with the store know carts cashier's are slow as snails never enough cashier's those reviews are staged I WORKED AT THIS DISGUSTING STORE be very careful about the vegetable racks look underneath each level of rack mold was falling on the produce beneath each level almost every rack had large amounts of mold and dangerous calcium deposits (Research calcium deposits in Santa Rosa water) josh the manager wouldn't even come look at it and alma who still is the assistant manager who says shes the manager is a liar is a tyrant and treats employees terrible anyone who doesn't kiss her a** doesn't get hours or is put on carts and there time clock forced you to say you took all breaks and lunch even though you worked through lunch and breaks so they wouldn't have to pay you or pay overtime Or get fined by the union . And Alma assistant manager also wouldn't not do anything about the mold cause she didn't care I had to threaten to call the Health Dept to top executives And it took them almost two weeks just to come look at the mold problem and took two months before cleaning them as customers bought produce they did not care one bit about customers or there health even when I told them I saw babys eating grapes off the shelf as many people do to test the sweetness but still didn't matter clear up to the top management executives it was disgusting the level at which this reached and was addressed with know urgency what so ever they even tried to punish me for trying to help the store and customers by making me clean it all up .(TEACHING ME A LESSON NOT TO COMPLAIN OR I Will BE THE ONE THAT HAS TO FIX THE PROBLEM) This store has disgusting people in charge don't buy anything that isn't packaged from them THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS WHAT SO EVER AND I HAVE PHOTOS TO PROVE THE ,LEVEL OF DISGUST AND TO PROVE MY MOLD STATEMENT these people are disgusting the lack of care is unbelievable JERRY JOSH ALMA and your boss DOUG REGIONAL MANAGER none of you should be in charge of a ant farm shame on you , you should all be in jail at the minum fired ESPECIALLY THE TYRANT ALMA SHE THINKS SHES IN CONTROL OF A DICTATORSHIP CONSTANTLY BREAKING THE RULES ,LAWS AND POLICY SHE SAYS SHE CAN DO ANYTHING SHE WANTS AND SAYS WHO DO YOU THINK THEY WILL BELIEVE IF YOU REPORT ME YOU OR ME ? This is the best shopping experience I have had in Santa Rosa. There is a good selection of produce, a large array of brands, and great prices. There is also a small section for hygiene and personal care. The store is easy to navigate, and there are plenty of cart returns. The cashiers are also very nice people.

It's a dump. The lines are atrociously long because the self check stations are always closed. Their reason? Because there isn't anyone on the staff that is trained to run it. Bad management, poor training, and corporate neglect.

I miss Food 4 Less! This is a horrible replacement. The meats are questionable, the produce too ripe or sitting on a truck too long. So very sad.

I give FoodMaxx four stars because they were there for us when Safeway was not but I must say this revamp of theirs is very disturbing. They also have some really weird products in this store I don't know where they've gotten it but I took a few photos of one in particular that would be 51fifty energy drink which is cute but if you've ever been 5150 is it's not very funny well my mom and dad laughed so I guess it is , but I know for Dang sure it wasn't at the time ..Dootdedo. And a video of their revamp which makes it look like a BevMo type store which in this area around the Sebastopol Road area is not a good idea way too much booze already down here and like we really didn't need a whole Costco type store full of booze so thanks for that FoodMaxx and I'm being facetious anyway again thanks for being there when no one else was. OX

Been coming here ever since I was a kid. Good deals ! Great prices! Yeah it’s may have some parking lot funky friends...... but the way the city is growing . Always stay vigilant where ever you go kids. Buddy system if you’re that scared. There’s nothing to fear but fear itself. And always floss and eat your veggies :)

Crowded and there are long waits in line. Shelves aren't stocked regularly.Really no deals there and the beef is so low quality it has no flavor and tough. As of March 1,2022 none of the issues mentioned above have improved, in fact the cashier seems to feel comfortable telling me that"I don't care". I imagine he will.

It's like right down the street from me, so perfect location. However, there is always long lines in this store. When the self check is open you could possibly get in and out. But if your going in for alcohol forget it. While they have a huge selection the lines are so long, and as we all know you cant buy alcohol in the self check. They have great low prices on everything, but you'll need to have the time and patience.

While I am not a big fan of Huge Chain Stores, that only tend to carry "National", or Regional Brands, there is a place for them and this decent one. They never, ever have "enough" checkers, so be ready for a bit of wait, but that ain't too bad. The store is pretty clean and organized and they do carry many local and "better" brands of things with a lot of choices for such stores. They also have much better than average Produce department selection wise as well as quality. Good Store for what it is, but I would rather shop down Stony Point at Oliver's ;~P

Prices are worth the drive. Quality of produce has greatly improved. Overall selection has also. Meats are OK. Bulk coffee is $7.99 a pound. Good selection of Hispanic and Asian foods. Get your toilet paper, cleaning products etc at Wal Mart however. Quality of service (payroll?) seems to be on the decline. Can't have everything I guess.

Every time I walk into this grocery store it’s straight bad! There is never a cart for my grocery’s and if there is they’re all unsanitary and gross with trash and trash stuck in the wheels and floor on the way in. A sign by the entrance says “carts are electrically sanitized” but i don’t see how they could be in anyway so that’s a LIE. I asked an employee once how they’re sanitized and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I nearly trip over a plastic bag every time I come in this store, The floors looks horrible more than half the time with trash everywhere, lines are always to the baking aisle+ ,and have to wait forever just to get taken care of even if it’s a Tuesday, midweek. Their cashiers are rude as well all them look miserable besides a few. There is also nothing on their shelves half the time i go it’s just cardboard. Lasty the employees run around like headless chickens yelling at one another arguing in front of everyone. Always a laugh when I go in.

I went in to buy chips and a drink. I went through self checkout, paid, and grabbed my receipt and left the store. The lady working self checkout chased me out the store screaming saying that “my card declined” and that I “didn’t pay for my items”. I showed her my receipt and she said “oh someone else’s card must have declined. I’m sorry”.Other than that, the store has low-quality produce, the aisles are filled with trash and merchandise, and the cashiers are always impatient and brash.

Surprisingly good selection for a lower pricing grocery store. Can still get most of my gluten free, local and organic options. Carries a whole selection of health foods including the clover organic lines. Well organized but VERY busy on certain days of the year. Saves about $80 off my big shopping trips so worth the wait.

Prices for produce are great...Their meat dept. is a little pricey and same with their dairy but in general you can save some $$ if your selective with what you purchase there. They are open 24 hours so that can be very convenient... I recommend not shopping there during normal business hours between the 1st and 5th of the month, the lines are super long and your dodging little kids constantly.

Great prices, good product selection and availability, excellent customer service at checkout, shelves are always stocked with care. However, the new restrooms are terrible. The stalls are too small to get into, and it is hard to close the door once you are in; the toilet paper dispenser is too low; the handicapped restroom is excessively large, and the restrooms go unchecked for hours. So I give them a three because I use the restrooms more than once while I'm there shopping.

first off it's a store where there are better times to shop early and late are the best times to go. Their prices are pretty good .They have average to below average meat. prices are high and quality is fair to poor. I bought a pork shoulder looked great when I bought it took it home and put it in the fridge 2 days later the meat had some green spots on it . this is the second time within 6 months.

Great prices, beautiful produce section, friendly helpful staff. Wish they carried a few higher end items like unsweetened almond butter, but I understand they're focused on budget shoppers. I shop at night to avoid the lines, but better night lighting is needed, please, for safety.
