To set the scene, one of my parents suddenly died, so, without notice or planning, we needed to clear our surviving & aged & infirm parent out of their home nestled among the redwoods & nearly without cell service (a remote location between Santa Rosa & the coast).Anyway, I had the challenge of opening a floor safe as part of the clear-out process — one with which I had zero familiarity.I was also on-the-clock to wrap-up the clearing-out in order to make it back to Santa Cruz County by day’s end with my surviving parent for beginning the next chapter there.So, I called Bill’s Lock & Safe Service and began a series of landline calls & texts with Aaron & Austin to exchange intelligence about an obscure Sentry 1230.After roughly a half-dozen attempts to gain access by process of sequencing elimination, these guys guided me, facilitated my focus by having me count-out tumbler revolutions, etc., & most importantly, they served as encouraging voices that didn’t give up, nor — moreover — did they ever give up on me.Candidly, never has the click of a vault bolt retraction ever sounded so good to this legit safecracker. Bill’s Lock & Safe Service SAVED my BACON! Unfortunately I got locked out of my house on a very cold evening. When I called, I spoke with Aaron (the owner) he provided a quote and immediately dispatched a service tech to my house who arrived in less than 1/2 hour. When Jude (my savior) arrived, he was super calm and gracious to my large barking dog. While he evaluated my situation he was 💯 professional and very understanding about my budget concerns. Even though I was cold, rattled and not thinking clearly, Judes calm demeanor and quiet reassurance kept me in good order.Jude was AWESOME! Got me back in my warm house just in time. Very happy with the whole experience. I called them on a Monday with questions about getting all the locks on our home re-keyed. The man I spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me a price range I was comfortable with and set up an appointment for two days later. He put it down as a walk through with the option to schedule the work for another day if I wanted but let me know their technician would arrive equipped to do the job.The person showed up within the promised time span and got right to work. Our house is a newer build after the fires of 2017 and locks hadn't been changed since construction was completed. I couldn't find a key for one door which made a little more work. In all we had 2 sliding doors and 6 regular doors to be done. He was finished in about an hour or so even with the extra time for the door with missing key and the 2 sliders which were a different type of lock.I am very happy to have one key work most of the doors for a change.The total bill was just a little higher than the phone estimate due to that extra work. We are more than happy with the service and will be sure to call them again if needed in future.

I needed an immediate rekeying of a door lock. I called Bills and they told me they could do the work in about 15-20 minutes. I removed the door lock, thus rendering the door 'lockless'. I live in a very remote part of the west county, so I needed to have the lock back before nightfall. I drove in to Bill's, arriving 3 minutes before closing. Bill and his staff stayed late to rekey the lock so I would have it that night. Great service, great attitude, nice clean and well light shop and a great staff. You can't go wrong at Bills

I’m a contractor and have a big truck with a lot of tool boxes on the truck and one of my employees broke the only key i had for all the boxes and since the boxes need a special key that only 99% of the time you only can get them through the main manufacture Because that’s what the Ford dealer told me so i started looking for a lock key place like lock smith etc, but none of them would be able to make a key they told me i had to get it from the company that manufacture my truck body, and i did called but the manufacture its all the way down in LA and it would take them 2 weeks to send me a replacement key, so decided to try one more time and found Bill’s Lock & Safe Service on 860 piner rd, santa rosa and they told me to bring the truck in and that maybe they were gonna be able to help me , i drove to their shop and they looked at my tool boxes and they said that they would be able to make a new key in 10min 😳 which was surprising because all while the other places only offered to bust my locks for $100.00 😣 while Martin at bill’s made me a ser of 2 keys which made my day and i was able to get all my tools out again ..they are really professional and i highly recomend them..
