the last 3-4 time I have visited this store the cashier that I've gotten has no customer service skills or nor her other cashier colleagues.this time when I ask for my receipt, she gave me an awkward look, how it came across was rude when she printed and handed it over to me.I was with my 8 yr. old daughter that had to witness this service.FYI make sure to keep track with your rewards I caught it several times.On this occasion Kimberly the cashier asks for my phone number for the rewards she and her cashier friends input the wrong number because on my mobile app under purchase history I can't find my recent purchases.yes, I am aware I can call so they could add these rewards which I have done twice in the past.

Went in today looking for a gloss finish and Alvin in the paint section was awesome. He had above and beyond customer service. This Ace is always super helpful

I absolutely love going to Ace Hardwear in Santa Paula, the entire staff is knowledgeable, professional and seem to appreciate their customers. The staff is always helpful and won't send you on a fools mission of trying to find an item in the store. The other two big brand stores could learn a lesson on how to treat customers from this incredible place with the helpful hardware staff.

Their products are head and shoulders above Home Depot’s in terms of quality, strength and durability. The employees are trained and know just what you need when you don’t. Buy here first and save yourself a huge head ache!

They're a good hardware store and a plant area to shop they've helped me throughout the year with several things replacing my screens and everything else from gardening to a fish pond thing sort of for my goldfish miners Ace hardware is a great place to shop I'm glad Santa Paula has a store .

It's not a Home Depot, (and I definitely would not go here for lumber) but their tools and hardware are very well stocked for small needs, home repairs, shop improvement, etc. I find myself going here several times a week. I would not do so if their staff were not so incredibly helpful and friendly, even if their stocked inventory was as good as it is. No complaints. An excellent friendly neighborhood hardware store for basic needs. Highly recommend.

I’m revising my rating, from 2 stars to 5. They have really stepped up. As far as customer service. Everyone seemed very helpful. The store is clean & well organized. Lots of inventory. It’s well worth supporting this local hardware store!

Bait and SwitchOnline I saw a wrench set listed for $49.99, great deal. Website said several were in stock so I drove from Ventura out to Santa Paula. Found the item and went to the register where it came up a regular price ( $89.99). They called a supervisor who flatly told me “online price only”. I pointed out that the website indicated several in stock. Of it was listed in stock, they should honor the price. Nope. I could’ve been a Karen and caused a scene, but simply left.Don’t trust online listings they won’t honor it. Drove from Ventura, went into the store, drove all the way back to Ventura…pissed.

Slooooow moving staff, felt like I was in a time freeze, stood in line for 20 minutes, for a single item, what ever happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE?????? Maybe you need to hire qualified staff to operate the dreaded cash register? I don't know! I know I won't go back to this location again.

This Miners treats the garden department as an unwanted stepchild. It always has dead flats of plants on the ground. It’s never has nice displays of new goods and partially opened cartons of new items. I’ve been to other Miners and this one doesn’t measure up by a long shot. I just go passed it to Green Thumb. I always check to see if there’s any improvement.

Great selection, they have everything. Prior owner/management had let this store go to the digs, with next to nothing on the shelves. Store is now a pleasant place to shop with friendly, knowledgeable, helpful employees. I highly recommend.

I've had reason too use every store in San Luis Obispo County but this was my first time in the Santa Paula store. Like every one of their stores someone is always willing to ask if you need help. I've always received great service and our advise at Miner's.

Had what I needed at good price.MIG/STICK/TIG welder $369Talked to a helpful employee *Danielle. When I asked for Fire resistant jackets she checked on the computer for me and asked if I wanted to order or think about it. Felt no pressure at all. Thanks ACE!

A little pricey, but nice to have a hardware store in town with the supplies you need . They seem to be well stocked. Nice people. Helpful. They have a little garden shop on the site. Give them a try. Judge yourself.

There seems to be a little less help now after covid which I can understand.... the cashier line is something I saw for the first time in Utah almost 10 years ago and right away realize how great of an idea that is 👌

Love the garden department!! I have received excellent suggestions for garden plants and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We go there at least once a week for garden supplies and other household repair needs.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. When seeing you they inform you whether they are assisting another customer and that they will help you when they are complete. They listen to what your hardware needs are, examine what you brought in, and help you find the item in the store.
