I already know what I will be shopping for, however at check out, I stood where the line usually starts and the cashier took the person who just walked up. Then, when checking out, the seated cashier rang up my purchases and I brought my own bag to put the cans of food in - she did not help or assist in packing the bag whatsoever - and she saw that I was struggling to get them in the bag. She was pretty bad. Didn't take the initiative to assist, ask if I needed assistance and just sat there.

Nobody greeted me, plenty of employees. I was looking for something specific, guy at the counter had his face buried in his phone, two of the female employees were in the very back doing something. Then when I did get up to the front I tried to use my rewards and my phone number didn't come up. Hence why I never go into your store. I'll stick with PetSmart. The manager should be monitoring the cameras to see what the employees are doing absolutely nothing that's what they're doing nothing!

Staff was helpful and friendly. They have what I was looking for. Two-star knock for the lack of parking. Pay lot behind building, but it's usually full and it's not free. Street parking is hit or miss.

Please visit this wonderful store. The staff led by store manager Gabriel are so helpful and amazing. Rebecca and Jessica were so knowledgeable about kitten foods and what I needed. Gabriel is fantastic and really helped me, too. I can’t forget about Crystal…she was so sweet and again…incredibly helpful. I will be back every week to get what I need for my household of animals. Thank you to the staff!!!

Unleashed is a boutique sized Pet Co. They carry most of the items we need every week. The staff is exceptionally helpful and the store managers have been top-notch. They consistently go above and beyond to help. We go virtually every week.

Their self wash stations are everything. They provide towels, aprons, shampoo and conditioner. You just show up, pay $15 and leave when you’re done. No clean up. No mess or fuss. My King Louis has extremely sensitive skin so I don’t use their products because he requires a special medicated shampoo. Their power wash shower nozzles make washing your pup super easy and fast. The elevated tubs mean you won’t have to bend over and break your back during doggie wash time. There are also two super powered hair driers making dry time really quick and easy. During covid there is a 30 min wash and dry time limit which is actually sufficient for my 60 lb Sharpei given how powerful their equipment is. Also, during covid the middle tub isn’t in use at all in order to provide safe social distancing between the two other stations on the far ends of the self wash area.

Needed some new dog toys and found exactly what was needed. The squeak toy was such a big hit I had to hide it!! The triple rope pull with 2 tennis balls gives my 11 yr old real joy!!

DO NOT WASH YOUR DOG HERE. Unless you like ER vet visits. We brought our dog for a wash Sunday. He started seeming sick Monday, by Thursday we had to take him to the ER vet because he had open wounds all over his body. The vet said it was most likely from the recent wash and dirty equipment. When we got there the workers told us they had just cleaned everything.

Horrible experience with Isaac at Petco. My husband called ahead of time to make sure they had the type of food my dog needs. I hustled to the store to get it after work, arriving at 6:59pm to get it before leaving for a business trip early tomorrow morning. Clock strikes 7pm and Isaac refuses to sell to me saying “he’ll get written up.” Meanwhile when he let another person in seconds before me who still hadn’t checked out!It would have taken him 2 minutes to help me. Now I’ll have to have to have a friend get the food for me tomorrow. Just overall very frustrating. Don’t work in the customer service industry if you aren’t helpful or at least kind. On my way out the door he has the nerve to passively aggressively yell, “have a nice a day!” Get some manners, kid. Never going back here.

Such friendly and kind staff super helpful and patient. This place has everything your little buddies need. The cat harnesses are legit and they have a great selection of harnesses for medium to large dogs. I'd definitely recommend stopping by here if you're coming through and need to get some stuff for your pets.

Thru a friend of mine, I found that this store has an area that you can bathe and groom your own little friend for $15.00. I thought I would go and see for myself. I have an 11 pound King Charles that I like to keep bathed and groomed etc continuously which at $100 every 12 days or so can get irritating. Sure enough, the store besides a rather large selection of all the usual pet foods and accessories, also has a very nice and clean separated area/room with 3 huge stainless sinks that by removing a "shelf" very easily can fit our friendly animals as small as 5 all the way to 150 pounds. The $15.00 also gives you a light weight rubber apron to put on, a clean towel, shampoo and conditioner and several different brushes. An adjustable and a very easy to use shower handle adjacent to each sink provides hot and cold water. Once finished, there are several commercial grade high powered blowers available to blow dry your friend. I have never had to wait in line so there's no need to even make reservation, nor the time spent on taking in and having to return for pick up. In and out less than 30 minutes! Don't get me wrong, I still take her once a month/6 weeks to get a professional outfit. In between however, visiting this store once or twice serves our purposes of being clean.It also does away with bathing my little friend where her hairs clogged up my bath drain. Yes, I did have to ask for a plumbing service!So, everything considered, not a bad deal for $15.00.

I primarily come here to use the self service dog wash. The store provides all the cleaning products, towels, and blow dryer. The customer service is friendly and quickly showed me how everything works and is located.Prepay Parking is behind the building.

Good selection of crates. A smaller store but it still has a bit of everything to offer. They even have animal bathing facilities you can use of you don't have suitable facilities where you live.

Non-dog owners look elsewhere. It’s a dog supply store. It’s a fairly huge store and there’s literally 2 aisles for cats. Meh selection. Order online. Clerk was patronizing he said certain cat food should fit my “little” requirements. As if looking for a cat food with no grain was a big ask.

Hands down # 1 in customer service in any pet store I've shopped at. And I've shopped at many. Although they don't carry a brand I like, their selection is varied and makes all of my babies happy. Great points and rewards programs. Highly recommend. But the Santa Monica location before any others.
