I checked it out after church service on the way back. It looks old outside, yet pretty bright and new inside surprisingly.This seems one of the faves of the locals. As a new resident here, I am trying to explore the surroundings and I happen to see this and its coupon in the mail.The food quality is actually good, the display is pleasing, and the wine selection is addiction. I browse through it, and I have seen some amazing differences here such as bean sprout can be purchase based on the weight. That is unique and good as I always have throw away half away if I buy a full bag.The only drawback is the prices are on the higher side especially for me who is trying to prepare for the upcoming inflation and possibly recession, I am watching my spending to save as much as I can for kids’ college and future weddings. But Santa Monicans are not affected by it as it seems, which is good.The best part is the service. I just look at the meat for 2 seconds and 3 people ask me whether I need help, if I do, let them know right away. The service and courtesy is amazing, the best I have seen around town so far.I do wish I have better economic status to feel nothing to buy here, but at this present moment, I will just look.

Huge fan of the sandwich combos they serve at the deli counter. This place is great and they have a lot of different items you won't see in the big brand stores. Prices are reasonable. They don't skimp out on anything and I dig the oversized sliced pickles they serve with the sandwiches. Friendly atmosphere.I've tried a few different meats and that's up to personal preference but, I definitely recommend the sourdough for the bread. It's always fresh and it tastes great.

Bobs has the best meat department on the westside. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and they have a good wine selection for a small grocery store.

We love Bob’s! We have lived in Sunset Park since 2004 and we quickly switched from Ralph’s to Bob’s as our go to market. The meat department is unlike any I have found in the LA-area. Excellent quality, amazing service and you can get the meat cut to your liking. The sandwiches and hot food deli are also great. We do most of your daily shopping there. We love knowing everyone and the warm welcome everytime we visit.

For anyone who lives nearby this place is a gem. It's so easy to run in and out and get the essentials. What I particularly like is their "butcher shop" since they carry high quality meats here. They also have some of the best fried chicken here too. I like to buy it hot, then later eat it cold from the fridge. The staff here are very friendly.

The associates that work in the fruit and vegetables section were so helpful today we couldn’t help but leave a review. Juan and another associate got me exactly what I needed very effectively and with joy. The selection is excellent too, ripe delicious fruits perfect for smoothies!

Well stocked with all essential stuff! Great butcher. Kids love hot food like Mac & cheese, chicken strips, etc. Really dope wine selection. Setting up a beach picnic? Perfect spot off 10 before heading down to tower 26! Also check the Jyan Issac bread.

Great small town feel - local Santa Monica grocery market. The meat department is one of this store's main attributes .. so accommodating and helpful. Produce has very nice selections of organic and regular. There's a lot of merch in this store you might not assume from the outside. Friendly service in all departments. Hot deli is really popular. Good for quick shopping visits or if your up for a chat with one of the long time employees. They locals I know love Bob's

Who doesn't like a throwback to the old times? Bob's is as old school as it gets, complete with the tight aisles and meat market aroma. The selections are decent. Check out is amazingly fast. Parking is usually a challenge and always confusing. Location location location is what keeps us coming back.

Bob's is a staple for the locals here in Santa Monica.They have a small but capable hot food section.The kids from the junior high often crowd the store after school. The baked chicken is delicious.The parking is kind of backwards so you have to enter from Ocean Park. The groceries are a bit expensive but fresher than most other grocers. They have tons of fresh fruits and they change it out daily. They have frozen foods and fresh meats at the butcher.The vibes on Sundays are chill when they have the butcher outside cooking a full menu of meats and sides.My kids spent a lot of time after school at Bob's and I appreciate the staff. The staff become like family over the years.

I enjoy coming here. It has a real neighborhood market vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. I especially like their chicken soup from the deli. I usually get a quart; add some fresh matzo balls from the nearby case and you have yourself a meal.

Wow this place is an awesome local market never knew it was here. It has a little side of parking lot and a full-size deli and meat counter. The thing to know is they sell tomahawks and I bought three of them. There’s selection of meats and seafood looked pretty darn good and the prices seemed to be fair as well. I will likely be returning for all my meat purchases in the future

Wonderful shopping experience. Customer Service was spot on. I was greeted by a nice employee that welcomed me as I entered the store. Even the customers were polite. The meat and Deli staff were so attentive. Most of the produce was locally grown. No more chain stores for me, if I can avoid it. You will not be disappointed🤗

Bob's Market is a wonderful artifact of a past as we want to remember it. They have a great selection of all sorts of "odd" things, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a real deli section. Veggies are fresh and well taken care of, meat gets an A+, and there are interesting wine deals throughout the store. We often make Bob's our destination for our evening walks, whether we need anything or not, and never return empty handed.

Awesome "family" neighborhood grocery store. When you walk in the staff makes you feel like family. The butcher counter is top notch. Produce is amazing. You can find specialty items that you won't find at large grocery stores but you also won't find some of the main stream things you find at large stores. Great place to stop when you need to make a quick stop to pick up something to fix for dinner.

Go here on the weekend and catch the BBQ outside! Delicious burgers and great service from the folks there! We rocked up 10 minutes before closing time, but they were more than happy to grill some burgers up, with a smile. We sat outside under the canopy and took our bikes back down to the beach when we finished. Would definitely recommend this to anyone passing by over the weekend.

Doesn't get more of a mom and pops shop then this. Classical and old school. If you want to feel good just step inside!They have everything you might need, great produce and hands down and no two ways about it, best Deli with the best meat in town!

They have basic essential items, but are generally over priced. There deli always has excellent meats and love all of their premade salads with big portions which is usually what I like to buy when I go there.
