AMAZING store and employees! Shout out to Roy & Jonathan for their passion for animals. The store is well kept and lively, all the animals are alive and well. During my visit I was able to experience the cutest baby beardies and also a massive beardie! So adorable. 10/10 I will be back. Thank you again to Roy & Jonathan for making my visit memorable.

Well maintained & healthy animals. Clean & organized shop. Friendly, helpful & knowledgable staff. Certainly on the nicer end of pet shops I’ve visited.It delights me to see fair habitats since good husbandry can be skimmed by. I saw happy, wrestling rats, clean noses & bright coloring on reptiles, fresh water & food, accurate labeling.Legit. Thanks to all dedicated employees.

Everyday 11am to 8pm.Knowledgeable, friendly staff. EXOTIC animals. Reptiles, fish, birds, rodents, and amphibians. They have a variety of goods for pets.My reptiles are happy with the grub I get for them there.Go and get yourself a tarantula, an awesome pet! Learn about it start a science project and keep it alive!

Love Allan's they really know their reptiles, spiders, fish...etc. I wall away with more knowledge and advice then when I arrived. I go to them first before I go to an exotic vet.So happy they are still in the community. They now carry captive bred jumping spiders! This is the spot for your animal care and well being. These guys definitely know what they are doing!

Such great customer service. Chris was super knowledgeable about all the exotic animals and was patient with all our questions. They really care for the animal they board and it shows. They were very unfriendly. I admit that my English is not very good and I changed the turtle into a turtle. The staff worked hard to help me get the turtle's items, but then he realized that I wanted a turtle and the staff became very indifferent to me. When I asked him questions about chameleons, he would pretend that he could not hear or see me. I asked a staff member how much everything about the chameleon would cost and he said 400-500. After this happened, the first staff member called a second person to meet me. When I asked him the same question (how much everything about the chameleon would cost), he gave me an answer of 800-900 and gave me a card to let me go. It made me very angry and I love chameleons but this store was just trying to get money out of me. If you want to buy pet supplies, I recommend going to a chain like petco rather than a small store, but I will admit that they do have a wide range of reptiles. Especially the guy with the glasses.

What a specimen. Just a beaut of a king. Bred in-house and just majestic. They asked me what I had and didn't have, you know what I call that? RESPONSIBILITY, ensuring that I provide the utmost care and quality to the unit of perfection picked up at this fine establishment. Buy their things. You looking for frozen snake meals? I don't want to pay double at those other pet places when I get twice the amount of food for the price of those other guys. Shop here. Stop wasting your time. Buy it here.

DO NOT BUY FROM HEREthis place doesn’t care in the least for their animals and are unethical. I got a dwarf hamster from here because they said if no one did that they’d feed it to a snake. I came back later to get a dwarf hamster and they took us to the back where he went through a door and for a second I could see in. What I saw was a bunch of boxes smaller than a shoe boxes and instead each one contained a single hamster. This place will also send you off with wrong information/ instructions for your animal. Unfortunately there are no law against this either. I will not be returning. Please if you want an animal go to the shelters they have a lot of sweet animals there! And make sure to research the animal you have to discover the best way to care for them!

My fish was having some bad health issues, and when I came in and told them what was going on, they gave me great advice to try. I also grabbed a new tank for my fish while i was there, and within a week my fish was back to full health and happy as ever. Excellent store with great staff. I highly recommend!

Kinda disappointing. They barely have any saltwater fish. And the ones they do have are at a high price. They had a stingray in the filter and lots of spiders and snakes in small containers inside of tanks instead of just in the tanks like the should be. Make sure to call ahead of time before going because they aren’t always open when they say they are. They are right next door to a dog grooming place and a dog treat place is on the other side. They don’t have a large variety of things and no one ever greets you when you walk in.

It was a nice place with a nice selection of animals and nice enough people working there. The young guy we got to help us was certainly kind and seemed confident to help us. However, although the Mexican black king snake we bought is awesome, practically every thing the guy sold us to go along with our lil’ hommie is wrong!He gaves us a heating pad that’s not hot enough, when we specified the size of the enclosure, natural cypress mulch that is absolutely terrible for the burrowing snake we got, and a reptisunT8 terrarium hood 24” inch holder that doesn’t even fit the reptisun 5.0 uvb lamp he sold us.In conclusion if you want to shop here, you best do your own research, because even though the selection is solid, the help was the opposite of well informed, despite appearing to be. We could have just bought the stuff online, but we wanted to support our local business.

Rude customer service. When I was buying a bird from them, I received threatening comments from one of the workers. We bought a small carrier cage, and said we would order a much larger cage later. One of the employees said in a very demeaning way “you’d better or else.” I felt so scared! When I continued to ask questions, he kept making snarky remarks. I purchased my bird and went somewhere else to buy him a huge flight cage and he was so spoiled. Please be careful going here especially if you’re a woman alone.

This is a great small business with two locations that has lots of helpful and friendly staff. They are not afraid to be honest with you if you ask questions, and you should ask for someone who has kept the specific animal that you're asking about when you visit the store (fish, reptiles, or amphibians). I got great, honest, detailed advice about taking care of different species of fish from Kaylee over the phone today, and I highly recommend this place!

I don’t often leave reviews but I have to give credit where it’s due. I started going to Allan’s 3 weeks ago after getting my baby bearded dragon and it will always be my go to pet store for as long as I live here. Very helpful and kind staff for a new pet owner. Also, the feeder crickets are at a very fair price and are never dead.Chris gave me great advice on helping set up my new terrarium, and Roy, one of the managers, went above and beyond in helping me after one of my heat bulbs broke from a manufacturing error.The pets in the store are also clearly well taken care of, which any customer would appreciate.

Whoa. The worst customer service I've ever encountered in life. I used to love this place and came here all the time. They had different employees then. The people there now are not only rude, they clearly don't want to be bothered with anyone actually buying anything. Clearly they don't have any interest in the store making money or keeping anything (including the basics-filters for fishtanks, turtle food, snails--nothing!!) Don't waste your time. Even if you know exactly what you want, they won't have it, even the most basic supplies!! And the employees literally couldn't be worse. They may as well be chasing people out of the store, eating food the whole time, while picking out who knows what from a plastic container of meal worms. Disgusting attitudes and disgusting service and disgustingly dirty store and rude dirty employees. We will never be back, and I hope that this review helps save others from going here to have a terrible experience!!
